    DOH! I just bought the Reach Map pack last week.  I figured if it hadn’t gone on sale by the release of the TU-Beta playlist, it wouldn’t go on sale anytime soon.

      They mean a battlefield update to the avatar marketplace meaning more items

      There is battlefiedl 3 items already they are just adding more the the collection

    Crappy DOTW.  Not interested in Halo MP and the Dead Rising arcade games have been on sale before.  Hopefully I can find something good in the Shocktober Sales.  Apparenently Castlevania Harmony of Despair are in there.

    You need to play Battlefield 3 now if you were sure that you saw in Xbox Live Arcade Battlefield 3 but it was in fact Bejeweled 3.

    Oh, and the Pinball FX2 Paranormal table.
    In case you didn’t know people, the Pinball FX2 shell is totally free, plus a free table is basically like giving away a free game.

      …you have to own at least 1 purchased table to “unlock full game” features and thus taking advantage of free tables (like the ones from pinball fx 1, at least, as far as I can recall from release date (I had a free table and that didn’t make PFX2 free in any way)

    Well, Bejeweled 3 does have a lot of content over B2. However if you are someone who just wants to match gems to kill a few minutes, then MAYBE B2 would do it just fine.

      Looks like something between LOTS of cool stuff and just 2 games (Castlevania Harmony of Despair and Zombie Apocalypse).  Go to the xbox website and there is a link on the front page for Shocktober with more info.

    Anyone know if the Paranormal table is free to play for one week then you have to spend moon points to play? Or is it free to download during that week and keep?

      Assuming it’s like every other piece of DLC that has ever been free for a limited time, it would be a free download during that time & if you download it while free, you have it forever.

      If you wait until after the promotional period to download it, you have to pay.

      It’s a free download during the week.  And you get to keep it for free, permanently.

      i.e. it doesn’t turn in to a demo after the week is finished.

      Pretty cool huh?

    You don’t deserve to be refunded any money. These maps have been on sale before and you should’ve waited. It’s Halo, those maps WILL go on sale again before the year ends, quote me on that. Of all the examples to show how greedy MS can, this certainly isn’t one of them.

      If only avatars were anything else but a poor excuse to cash in some money (ya know, game integration instead of just wandering arround the friends list,period) this could’ve been great news.

      Anyway, I can see lots of Paul and Gene avatars in the horizont but hardly any Ace nor Peter ones…
