  It is true dont worry… if you watch the video on the 360 dashboard on the sales its mentioned. However I feel all the sales this week sucked. For the amount of content on the 360 you would think they would have over 20+ xbla games discounted along with their over priced games on demand. All of my money went towards amazon and steam this year because they know how to have a sale. It doesn’t matter however because that one person that buys that 30 dollar game that you can get for 15 from amazon encourages bad deals from xbox.

Why can’t XBL have sales like Steam have or some other such service?! Do you know how much money Valve make off them? FOUR ITEMS?! IN A SALE?!?
These “sales” are laughable AND we’re paying you and your company a premium subscription at the same time.
It’s getting more pathetic every week and I’m thinking of just jumping ship altogether.

      You know you won’t jump ship because yes, you pay for Gold and PSN is free, but you get what you pay for.
      
      Every device has expensive accessories, that’s where the companies make most of their money.
      
      And if you like getting your DLC more than a month after it’s available on Live, again, head yourself over to PSN.

        All I am saying is that this is not limited to MS, every company’s official accessories are overpriced, that’s the way of the world and it always has been.
        
        I can buy a 3m belkin Cat5 cable from PC World here in the UK for almost £20, or I can buy one without a brand name for about £1.50.
        
        Yes, MS originally forced you to pay stupid money for a memory card to transfer your saved games to another XBOX, but then they added compatability for storing them on a normal USB stick and now (as of today I guess) they can all be stored in the cloud – that doesn’t really seem to fit with your extortionist view.
        
        Are you really using the price of the hard drive when it first came out to back this argument up? I paid £1500 for my 42″ LCD when it first came out, you can pick something similar up now for less than £400.
        
        Try to plug a 3rd party £10 wireless dongle into a Sony Bravia TV and tell me how that works for you…
        
        Again, I’m just saying that these high prices are the way of the world and MS is not even close to being the worst for this *cough* Apple *cough* Sony *cough*.

        Of course I realise MS aren’t the only ones that put this into practice but I do firmly believe they’re one of the worst offenders.
        
        I don’t want to get into the whole PS3 vs. Xbox thing but at least Sony allowed the use of any 2.5″ HDD for use in the PS3. That’s something I can respect.
        
        And I’m not going to be as naive as to suggest all these companies aren’t baying for our money but MS takes it a few steps too far.
        
        And if nobody pisses and moans and everybody bends over, MS will just have their way with us as consumers.
        
        They’re exercising classic MS style right here, reminiscent of the early 90′s. They get a large portion of the market and they abuse it to hell and back.
        
        My Xbox has given me countless hours of entertainment but all this milking has GOT to stop.

You do know Fallout has a newer installment called ”New Vegas”, and even “New Vegas” was a old game from 2010, right?And you do know even MvsC3 has released a newer version called Ultimate MvsC3, right?

Not just this Black Friday sale, even the whole Thanksgiving sale is disappointing!

Is MS giving up on Xbox business now? Your opponent is eating your marketshare, especially in Japan and even whole Asia, and I don’t see MS is doing anything about it! Just disappointment after disappointment!

If I was to say something negative, what utterly disapoints me is the lack of day specific deals; they are too few and there isn’t any surprise slipped in. It’s just the 4 titles anounced in major’s minute video…

      Well I certainly dont feel positive about it, you can be optimistic and complacent about this, but to say that its good enough is ridiculous, accepting it does not mean it couldnt be better, unless youre completely oblivious to what else is availble on the marketplace, thats not preference, thats fact. So the choices need to be more thoughtfully considered, or just offer more than a handful of deals, neither of which this one really does. That all said, it would be appreciated if these complaints were at least considered, it is better than nothing.

        Matter or fact, things can most of the time be better than they are now (wich is good, just imagine there weren’t that possibility!) so there iss no point at being dissapointed all the time cause it could’ve been better.
        
        Cheer up and think about the money you save pal, dunno about you but I just can’t get 5 arcades + DLC every week along with retail releases so I’m ok (despite slighly dissapointed at times) with deals being a mixed bag and often not critically appealing to me.
        
        Still, as you said, Mr. Larry already told here he will be handing those complains to the marketing guys.

I don’t like to complain. I don’t like to gripe. I know that Xbox Live offers a LOT of content in terms of arcade games, add-ons, indie games, games on demand, plus things like themes, gamer pics and avatar marketplace gear. So when I see deal of the week after deal of the week that doesn’t have amazing content, I don’t mind; not everything on XBL interests me, and eventually another deal will come up that I’ll take advantage of. Like Ms. Splosion Man last week, and Super Meat Boy this week in the Fan Appreciation sale.

But I was looking forward to Black Friday on the basis that I expected, massive day for sales and discounts that it is, there would be a lot more content. Like, maybe ten to fifteen different items, almost like another copy of the Fan Appreciation sale with its wealth of offerings. I expected there to be a mixed bag of different games and genres so that there would be something for everyone. And that’s not what we’ve got.

I bought Microsoft Points specifically for today with the intention of buying something really exciting or cool that’s on sale. Instead I’m presented with 4 paltry items, all of them old.

I don’t like to complain, but THIS is a hugely disappointing sale. I only hope Cyber Monday is at least a little bit better.

oh man, that is such a huge disappointment. Last year saw some pretty good deals and this year almost seems embarrassing. No wonder Larry signed off quickly after this, even he know this is pretty poor. A new deal every hour would have at least kept interest up and would have only taken 8 deals for the whole day. I;m british and even I understand the buzz black friday generates and for this to be the only offering MS is giving us, kinda stinks you know. Guys sort it out please
