I will give All Zombies Must Die! a try. But major Kinect titles on Games

      I can’t speak for him but I’d say the same thing based on the fact that the copy of The Gunstringer that is bundled with Kinect is a download code instead of a retail disc so it would take zero effort for them to release it on Games on Demand being that it’s already most of the way there.

  Right issues, sadly. Scrabble’s only owned by Hasbro in the US, and Mattel outside of it. I understand it, but it’s still a pain that we don’t get that sweet sweet Scrabble action.
  
  A kick in the teeth we got the same achievement list though, drove completionists like me mad!
  I even won a code from EA for Scrabble two years ago and I kept it safe for two years, then a friend hooked me up with an NTSC 360 that I used to get those last cheevos. But more importantly I had FUN playing it, Mattel seriously should look at giving us our own Scrabble game.
  
  But I should not have had to do that just to 100% Family Game Night. With Family Game Night 4 they renamed Scrabble Flash to Boggle Flash and just gave us a separate cheevo list, which is a happy compromise.

So I’ve read that list, and I actually feel offended.

Microsoft, sometimes it’s like you don’t want my money, but then I suppose since I’m a Gold member it’s pretty much “we’ve got your money, **** off”, right?
I know I’m probably not going to be buying anything until at least the tenth of January at this rate, unless that EA sale ends up being any good. Not holding my breath

Still, as part of the Gold membership one of the perks we’re entitled to good deals and offers and we get… this?
Just once, just once, I’d like to read an upcoming content list and not be disappointed. I miss that “OH GOD I JUST _HAVE_ TO GET THAT” feeling when a great sale comes along because it’s been quite some time.
And the few good sales we’ve had in 2011 have let Silvers in on the action anyway!

Which is great for them, sure, but then it leaves a bad taste when the sales that members pay to get into are either one, recycled content at the same prices (often still too high) or even more expensive than last time or two, stuff nobody wanted in the first place!

It’s nice that Silvers get to take part in the odd sale here and there but it would be better if when they did, Golds got a larger discount than them. Say, doesn’t one of the other sevices already do that?

I don’t want to descend into bringing up Steam and PSN but Microsoft, you seriously need to take a look at your competitors because their offerings are leaving you in the dust! You should be trying to one-up them ALL. THE. TIME.

  Out of curiosity, what specifically would you have on sale, and for how much?
  
  Personally, I love these deals. I rarely buy anything “full price” any more because of how frequent sales occur and I would guess that most, if not all, the XBLA & DLC content I’ve ever wanted has at some point gone on sale, at least within a year of the products release.
  
  I should also note: Compared to Xbox Live, I spend WAY more money on Steam sales (way more content available at really cheap prices) and I spend almost nothing on PSN now that they introduced Playstation Plus. However, I play online on Xbox Live way more than the other platforms (including the Wii/3DS) combined because the experience is so much better and THAT is why I spend the money on Xbox Live, not because of deals – they’re just an added bonus.

  I’ll say I like your comment for the most part since sometimes (sometimes!) I also feel I’m not getting that much for my gold; apps, online play, exclusives (now almost gone), and voice chat are free in the pc but matter or fact my friends are on LIVE instead of the pc.
  
  That made me think Microsoft own no friend of mine so If all of them decided to move to another system I at least would consider doing it too, sadly. Sales, services, etc. can’t appeal to everyone but they should try not to disapoint too many people beyond point of no return since losing few ones may drag others to do so.
  
  So yeah, apple is giving away free apps and games (broken sword 2 free i.e.) and STEAM deals are great, sure. We’ve got kinect for a year now and it’s not appealing to me since we can count the games avaliable with my two hands, sure… but I ain’t touched steam for years (maybe I should…) and apple is not my thing (yet we own their stuff at home). As for kinect… the people interested in party games at least have it as an option to expand the core features of the xbox.
  
  As I wrote before, I’m ok with Microsoft sales since they throw at me more games than I’m able to play from start to finish and as someone else said, all I ever wanted did show up eventually on sale. In some way they “care” for the customer as we hadn’t offers and deals of the week not long ago, it’s just that their gears don’t move fast and efficiently enough to match competition’s but that doesn’t make them an utterly crappy company (IMHO).
  
  If anyone asked me I’d say Microsoft has to work hard if only for 1 thing, to prevent the “maybe I should…” factor of the text above.

    Steam is available for Apple computers now. The library isn’t as complete as the PC library, but it’s pretty good. And the prices are the same as the PC prices… meaning CHEAP.
    
    Don’t know if you only have iOS devices (iPhone or iPad) or if you have an iMac, but yeah, either way you should check out Steam again. Insane sales going on right now.

    I see plenty of sales on all platforms (XBL, PSN & Steam) that I have zero interest in. I don’t go whining on the respective sites because those sales aren’t tailored to me. I just wait to see what is available in the next sale.
    
    There is no sale that will appeal to everyone so if you don’t like it, just move on to the next sale and see if you’re interested in something then.

Hey Larry and anyone else with power at Xbox, despite this being a problem for multiple dash updates, you still haven’t fixed the problem of the marketplace being completely clogged up with music stuff. Stick it somewhere else PLEASE. Give it it’s own tab or something, so those who actually care about such things can find it, while the rest of us can just see actual game DLC without having to search for it buried amongst 50,000,000 Rockband songs.
