      Yes it is from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine studio and he’s currently doing the interview rounds promoting it. It is on their website but for some reason, you have to dig to find it – not a good sign I’d say.

    I swear, it’s like Microsoft just wants what they want and no longer listens to they’re customers anymore. Oh well. Looks like it’s the final curtain for the Xbox and rise of the PS3 in my household.

      What I want to know is how Larry still has his job, here’s a quote from him:
      “What I actually do is work with the Xbox Live community to understand their needs and concerns and communicate their issues back to the product group.” 

      Hmm, well he hasn’t done any of that, he just pretends not to see the issues the community have raised.

      So what it should say is:
      “What I actually do is ignore the Xbox Live community and spam youtube links and xbox offers on twitter. I also poke the product group on facebook occasionally.”

          I still appreciate that he takes the time to inform us about the news, and show us the next two weeks of dotw when it comes (though lately they aren’t appealing at all).

       Just because they don’t cater specifically to you or to the people commenting on this blog doesn’t mean they don’t listen to their customers. The Xbox consumer base isn’t specific to this blog.

    Skip for me – not having Kinect and never plan to get one. What are the next week’s XBLA games? Shank 2 is already confirmed and maybe The Simpsons Arcade – it’s coming to PSN next week, so i guess we can expect it on XBLA, right ?
    And i agree with previous posts – it’s just unfair to release only Kinect games – not everyone is interested and have one!

        1200 is going to be the price. Monolith said it themselves. I don’t think it’s that unreasonable of a price. Considering the replay value people will get out of it.

          I know that isn’t unreasonable given the amount of 1200 games out there, it’s a good online game after all. But I’ve only bought two 1200 games at full price, I usually wait to a sale.

          You see, I’ve got too many games waiting to be played, so I’m in no hurry.

      While yes, not everyone has a Kinect sensor, it’s not like there is a huge flood of Kinect XBLA games. There are probably a dozen or so total. Dedicating one week to Kinect games isn’t the end of the world.

    I have Kinect and both of these games don’t interest me, seems like MS are marketing more and more to the kids (which is good) but I see core gamers maybe getting squeezed out in future…I said maybe.

    I finally got on board with Sony on Black Friday and picked up PS plus too (been a member for 2 months), I pay under 6 bucks a month and I have already have Back to the Future 1 to 5, Hydrophobia, Tomb Raider, Swords and Soldiers, some PS one games, a bunch of Premium themes and some PS Minis also Far Cry 2, The Simpsons, Final Fantasy V and a bunch of Genesis games to come this month….Not to mention a 50% discount on certain games and free 1 hour trials on full games!

    You may argue that if you have these games then PS plus is not a deal but what does MS offer you for Subscription?
    You may also argue that once your subs run out then most of the games are not playable, well guess what I already beat them and would probably never play them again because of the back log of games out there, so it works for me at the moment.

    This is not the old MS vs Sony whine, all I’m saying is that MS are becoming less competitive (and don’t seem to care, or have really bad marketing staff) in the market and my attention and money is going elsewhere. I have got tired of whining about what they offer us and just accept it, just know that there are alternatives out there.

      i too have left the MS crowd over the last while,seen the games on demand with mortal kombat for 70 euro i had enough of rip of MS im now buying all my games off of steam.there deals cannot be beaten
