o Speeder Bikes and Landspeeders: Pilot iconic Speeder Bikes and Landspeeders on your epic journey

o New duels: Battle opponents like Count Dooku and Darth Vader on your journey to become a Jedi

· New Duels of Fate mode, a battle-by-battle experience to sharpen your Jedi skills against the Dark Side.

· New Galactic Dance Off mode loaded with Star Wars-themed pop tunes where those still honing their Jedi skills can take a break to battle Darth Vader on the dance floor or bust a move “Solo style.”

Additionally, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Kinect Star Wars” console bundle will feature an exclusive C-3PO unlockable for Dance Mode. With these new reveals and the ability to play in 3D, “Kinect Star Wars” adds to the growing popularity of the family-friendly gaming portfolio for Kinect for Xbox 360.

Does this game really suck like everyone says it does?  My 7-year-old really wants to play it, but I’d hate for him to be disappointed.

what other star wars product compels you to buy it but does not ultimately disappoint?  if you’re a fan of the franchise, this is just kind of what you get…  for better or for worse…

WOW so it’s not even a game anymore, just a collection of Star-Wars themed mini-games.  I hate to judge a book by it’s cover, but the game is going to be awful.

The console and controller, on the other hand, I want very badly!

Wow this is the first special edition console that actually looks remotely nice. It appears to be the first SE console not designed by 5 year old art students.

Wow just what I’ve always wanted, dancing in a Star Wars game.

Oh come on, you honestly expected Star Wars Kinect to be good? Little hint, it’s got the word “Kinect” in it…

That console sure does look slick though. GAME wants £350 for it, the crazy fools.

Bust a move in a dance off with Vader?

Wow.  At what point does George Lucas decide “Eh, I have enough money…”???

    • http://www.facebook.com/JRock3x8 Jason Williams

honestly, I *hope* that Lucas has long since turned his attention away from things like this and that other people are the ones doing the decision making on this.

The only excuse that makes any sense on this game is that they had already invested a ton of money into making what turned out to be a pretty rough failure and so they just decided to repurpose what they had into what’s coming out on April 3rd.

But honestly a lot of what’s been going with Star Wars the last 15 or so years feels like a cash grab.

Kinect Star Wars is going to bomb, IGN will give this a 2/10.  Not even a backhander from Lucasarts will save this garbage.  Kinect has ruined the 360 brand thanks a lot MS.

    • http://www.facebook.com/JRock3x8 Jason Williams

Kinect has ruined the 360 brand” – not really sure that’s a fair comment.

If you want to say Kinect has ruined Star Wars or vice versa, I might be willing to buy into that.

I think the one thing everyone should agree on is that both XBox and Star Wars franchises are not at their peak at the moment.  The “heyday” of Star Wars is CLEARLY gone.  XBox has a shot to recapture the magic but I doubt we will see any of that for another year.

Dude Kinect has ruined the 360, MS are to busy focusing on Kinect and Entertainment to care about games/exclusives.  All we have is cr4p like Halo, GOW.  Even PS3 has a better range of exclusives.  Sony released Move but they dont shove it down your throat the way MS go on about Kinect.  This years E3 2012 is going to be a disaster.  I can see Don Matrick on stage going on and on about Kinect.

Sony is always willing to take your money.  Speaking from experience, the grass is not greener on that side of the fence.
