Finally! I was hoping for a full fledged sequel to Alan Wake, but this will suffice for now. How did that game not catch on before? It was amazing.

      CoD fanboys. That is all.

Yes, because if you’re not into Alan Wake…clearly you like Call of Duty. And liking Call of Duty is a bad thing because Call of Duty is popular.

I don’t get it either, the 2 games have different genres. They aren’t competing at all.

Call of Duty is a game that people love to hate on it any chance they can get even when it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. They like to think they have superior gaming tastes…even though they don’t.

That’s pretty much spot on, Superman.

Or people who don’t find science fiction games appealing.

I personally didn’t care for it. Cool story, but the gameplay was repetitive. Same forest, same enemies for 10 hours. I started to get annoyed with the combat as it intruded on the story and felt like it was falsely extending the game to reach an arbitrary length.

Major, any news on the Gamertag recycling?

      No answer…

day 1 buy no need for the trial

Playing through it now. Incredible stuff.
I keep forgetting this is an Arcade game. It bears all the hallmarks of a fully fledged retail release for a fraction of the price.

Remedy have outdone themselves. Hopefully this will set the trend for other XBLA devs to follow.

Anyone on the fence about the purchase, I’ve got the gentle nudge you need; it’s my favourite game this year thus far and probably my favourite Arcade game ever.

The first Alan Wake sold poorly enough, we as gamers need to support Remedy’s continued efforts.

Great game. I’ll get this as soon as it comes out on PC.

I love the lighting and atmosphere

On the trial there’s a spelling error in the game’s description… “…you’ll fight wave after wave if enemies”.

This reminds me that I’ve been meaning to buy the Barry Jacket.

As a “hardcore” gamer who has slowly started to become more a “casual” gamer, I love this new episode business model.

I wish this was still in the Pacific North West! I love huge trees and ferns in my games as opposed to concrete jungles.

Amazing. Always wanted a demo for the first game. This trial has given me the insight I needed to buy the original.

I had some MS Points to spend and I loved Alan Wake. So I took the plunge and just bought it. After a night of playing it, I’m glad I did. Finally, the first good XBLA title in a long time, with the exception of Guardian Heroes.

Got double-charged for this when the marketplace glitched. Took ten seconds to lose 1200 points, but will take several days to get them back. Thanks, jerks.

Decepcionado por no doblar el juego al Español, han perdido por esto una venta.
