    Never played any of the mass effect games but really addicted to the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. May get the actual game later.  Is MW3 really that fun?  I liked Black ops for a while and World at war before that but the modern warfare games feel so generic and soulless.  If you’re going to make an incredibly outlandish unrealistic first person shooter why make it take itself so seriously?

       I happen to favor historical shooters over “modern” ones, as well. I think that “soulless” feeling may stem in part from the fact that most “modern” warfare games employ fictional conflicts, whereas historical shooters are based on dramatic military events… As such, I find the (albeit short) single player stories of Treyarch’s games to be much more engaging.

      Call of Duty 4 is still on top 20.  That’s even more impressive considering three CoD games have been released since then.

         Not really, CoD is a bigger IP, exists on multiple formats, has sold better and CoD 4 is by purists considered the last real CoD worth playing ;)

        4 Halo games have been released since Halo 3 ;)

          Only 2 Halo games have been released since Halo 3:
          ODST (a Halo 3 expansion) and Halo Reach. Halo Wars is an RTS, not a real Halo game and Anniversary is a re-release, not a new game.

           All of the 4 CoD games released since CoD 4 have been full sequel retail releases.

    I am hoping Gotham City Imposters has legs has i will be buying it today as XBLA games don’t usually keep their audience(BF43 excluded)

      I know I’m still going to be playing Gotham City Impostors. It’s nice to have a game that uses Call of Duty ideas, but doesn’t take itself so seriously. The fact that free DLC is coming out next month including a new map and some weapons will definitely keep my attention longer.

    I love how the first month that Saints Row the Third came out, it was taken over by GTAIV. Talk about impressive.

    Also, would anyone mind telling me how FIFA 12 is so high in the charts? I heard there were hacking issues or something along those lines?

       Well, considering Saints Row: The Third removed the competitive multiplayer, there’s very little reason to continue playing once you’ve finished the game.

      First of all, the following, brand awareness and market saturation for GTA is vastly larger than Saints Row–the comparison is illogical. Its like comparing Mass Effect to Deus Ex, or Call of Duty to Battlefield. Secondly, Saints Row doesn’t have a multiplayer component, which makes the comparison even less logical. Why people feel compelled to make comparisons like this is beyond me.

    I don’t like seeing NFL Blitz dropping.  I love that game and it’s got great online modes. I know people were complaining about no late hits but who cares that has nothing to do with the actually game itself.

    GTA IV is doing well on GFWL and almost made the top 10 for the 360. No sign of my beloved Dark Souls. Call of Duty is unstoppable. Any guesses to what will be the game to dethrone the Call of Duty series from #1?

      Halo Reach is indeed great but I think it gets a little extra boost since multiplayer for Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is recognized by LIVE as Reach.

      It was to fix what they broke with the last update. But since it’s MS they pretended nobody had problems with it so they said it fixed “voice recognition”.

        Microsoft needs to stop with these updates and start listening to their customers, after all; without xbox live users paying for subscriptions nobody would get paid ….  I’ve not seen one thing added to the new so called “metro” that live users asked for,    i read threw alot of them in the pre-release channel and all were pushed to the side. Surely putting up a poll on the xbox website or even facebook pages would show they actually care what we think, instead of being greedy by shoving ads in ur face.

    no but seriously, your right, i think its the fact that most consoles are connected to live/psn/wateva and therefore they can afford to sell u broken games, and feed u gigaquads of dashspam.
    what if a company makes a game, the same company hosts their own game (for a small fee of course), and if u want dlc u could pay the people who made the game/dlc. no middle men.
    i know phantsy star did something similar, but im kinda surprised theyre the only ones… can u imagine if cod did the same?
    ms and sony would be so screwed… there must be sum big sacks of bribe money going from (m(s)ony) to cod headquarters to stop that me thinks.

    I have a Cloud suggestion if anyone would like to hear me out. The Cloud Saving ability is a great feature but it needs to hold more than MegaBytes worth of stuff. Microsoft should also allow for clothing/gamerpics/themes/replay vids to be uploaded too. Keep updates and installed games on the hard drive.
