Been looking forward to this game. I hope it can still get the post-release support it will need.

publisher is in trouble not the deveolper. dev has copywrite for the game – so if its sucessfull should be ok. great game – multiplayer is drop in drop out and bots take over if it goes bad.

Not available for Singapore region? What!??! (Considering Dota game type is such a big hit in APAC region)

Awesome, played it for several hours last night on PSN, very addictive and fun game.

I too played this for free on PS+.  Didn’t find any fun in it. Probably wont ever play it on my PS3 even though it was free for me.

    • ElektroDragon

I played it via Plus.  Quite fun actually, awesome music.  Too bad it seems to be a MP only title.

      • http://www.thetjhzone.blogspot.com/ Tylerh1701

I agree with this.  Would have loved to see a fleshed out campaign mode as well, either single player with bots or co-op, and increasingly difficult AI.

Good thing you didn’t waste msp on it then right?

      • Anonymous

         Totally.  I guess that’s a plus to PS+.  ;)

Until you stop paying for PSN+. Then you lose the game.

          • http://twitter.com/WickedWaffles93 Synthetic Generation

No problem with that at all, such quality titles being given for free. It’s too bad some xbox loyalist still defend the microsoft brand like it’s their god.

ungeheier “didn’t find any fun in it”, so why would he care bout losing the game?

MS should do a price match for Sony’s price. I have Gold, gimme the game.

I love that the people that are posting here are commenting that they played this game on a machine that is in direct competition with M$, I too played it on PS+ and found it to be overly imbalanced at times and a bit meh but was a distraction for a couple of hours!

I’m just glad I know I wont be plonking 800 moon points down on this, I feel very smug about my PS+ decision right now in fact I’m so happy I’m off to play my PS+ TRINE 2

    • http://www.thetjhzone.blogspot.com/ Tylerh1701

You’re certainly not alone in finding it imbalanced, a lot of reviews stated the exact same problem.  I played last night when everyone was still brand new to it, so I didn’t really notice it.  But  I’m sure when I play it again in a couple days I will get my butt handed to me, and have to level myself up offline (which is not very fun to do.)

I never understand why they have to add the word “free” to trial or demo.

Seriously a demo is supposed to be free as it is demonstrating the game to a consumer who might be interested in a purchase.

Or is MS gonna start charging for demos too?

The whole idea of advertising “free” demos is just silly to me.

believe me, I’ve seen pay-per-play demos before (not in this system tho).

Sure feels like a waste of money unfortunately. It is focused on online gameplay and since the company is in financial troubles it could mean a very very very short online experience.
And the “Chris Rock” like voice over is also a disappointment. Absolutely not living up to “the hype”.

no thank you, free on my PS3+

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jonah-Falcon/525044162 Jonah Falcon

Unless you stop PlayStation Plus. Then they yank the game away from you. It’s NOT free.

      • mata7

so what, to me is free it wont take me one year to finish any free game, now you tell me what Microsoft give me free? nothing so i pay 60.00 for 4 years and get nothing on live for free

        • Corellianrogue

Have you joined Xbox Live Rewards? You get free points, including 100msp a month for just being a member. Also there have been a few free games over the years and there are also the Deals Of The Week.

          • http://twitter.com/WickedWaffles93 Synthetic Generation

by the time you get your points it will be 6 months from now.

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_XHCYLCGIFEVPHZCCJWSPZSVVTM Ardania

”You get free points, including 100msp a month for just being a member.”

No you don’t, Ive been a XL Rewards program member since December 2010 and you only get 20 MSP every month from a survey and you only get them once you reach 100, which can take 5 months.

They give you avatar clothing from time to time (only a t shirt and a track suit so far) but thats it.

The free games over the years have mostly been games from the Dorito’s challenges or other ones used as advertisements, hardly what I would call a real free game.

          • cris178

It depends if you buy Microsoft points and movies or do surveys or other things they give you Microsoft Points. Better than nothing.

          • Corellianrogue

Well I’ve been getting 100msp bonus every month. (On top of other reward points.) Maybe you get that as long as you buy something every month then?

  • http://twitter.com/Newdeck Gerard Newdeck

Played it and bought it on XBL! I am really enjoying it so far except nobody uses a mic. I have a PS3, but I prefer to play my games with an Xbox controller and on XBL. Last I checked, this is an xbox news site. lol

  • cris178

Didn’t know many Playstation users read Major Nelsons blog…
