Need’s Emperor gamemode in the next installment. Great game though :)

Any gameplay news this time around or is it just another minor expansion released as a full price game?
Magic 2012 was a letdown, not enough news and/or improvements such as animations for the cards/attacks. Seems to be the same thing this time around, magic = pokémon, annual releases but no real news :(

This is how Wizards of the Coast works. The model only works as long as people keep buying.

sorry, but block to buy a content from another regions is a stupid idea.

Hmm I wouldn’t think the US would be a blocked region, or did it get pulled?

Whatever is new in this game should have been released as an update for Magic 2012.

And whatever was new in that game should have been released as an update for Magic 2009.

      • medveten

Well, I got to say, 2012 did bring some new and welcome changes :)
However, from what I’ve seen 2013 seems like the same game with minor modifications, like new skin but nothing new under the hood so to speak.
When can we expect full animations for combat/each creature?
The old 90’s magic game for Pc had it :/

200 gamerscore on this game. I will not buy it.
So what happened to 400 gamerscore MANDATORY IN JUNE???
    What’s with the lies?

    • http://www.salarymandaishi.net/ SalarymanDaishi

So, was Avatar: The Last Airbender truly any good?

    • Lee Rayson

thought it was end of june

    • http://twitter.com/Kailon791 Aaron Griffin

So you’re saying you can’t play the game and have fun with it, unless you have an extra 200 gamerscore? Damn, you would have never lasted back before achievements when every game was played just for the fun of being played.

      • http://twitter.com/lochdoun Bry

You don’t get it do you? It’s the fact that they flat out lied.

        • http://twitter.com/GaussBb Bradley

No, they didn’t lie. The 400 GS update started from April. Their are games already on the marketplace that have 400GS.

The reason Magic may not have this update is that they missed the window, i.e. it had already passed certification way before or just after April, therefore the game was already complete and they were just waiting for their window of release – 20th June.

i heard the 400 mandatory was only for titles beginning production from june

  • Lee Rayson

@Major – major how come some art for games on the dashboard is “broken” they just show a symbol of the game. for example Sonic Adventure (uk dashboard) it been that way since the metro update and some more recent games are the same like street of rage collection

Really lame that we have to download a new game every year and start all over. Magic 2012 had how many decks? ..and we start off with 8 decks all over again? New add-ons come out, and we have more decks to play with, just in time for magic 2014.
We the gamers think a new edition every year is STUPID. We should be able to play with ALL decks. So why can’t we? What is the only good reason? Money, right?
