Can’t really get excited about it when even EA admits the lack of innovation around this franchise.

Then again, while it has had its ups and downs, it’s really hard to innovate on something so solid. Any time they make a change, the risk of breaking something is much higher than the probability of improvement. From a consumer standpoint that is.

It does have a new physics engine this year. Going to try the demo as soon as I get home to see if that makes any difference. But yeah, they have pretty much fallen into the same trap as Windows has in many ways, change something significantly and people complain.

Must you comment on everything A-hole?

I dont get madden games each year but, this just means i can finally get madden 11

And have EA shut down the servers on you in 6 months. Enjoy.

I have been playing a bunch of sports games recently and having a blast. The nice thing is if you want you can always play with someone else on your console.

Don’t tell anyone, as this is the biggest secret in gaming, but Madden hasn’t changed since 2002 but still sells every year because consumers like myself will buy just about anything if other people are going to.

Your right there, i dont buy many yearly games anymore but the one i do only changes enough to entertain you but the core elements are the same as back on ps1.

    Lucky Number 13 eh?

It would be very ironic if Calvin Johnson went on to have a hell of a season, wouldn’t it?

I don’t normally get too excited for a madden release, but this demo changed that. Other than Jim nance repeating the sack count for my D, I felt like I was listening to a real broadcast. I am very stoked for this game.
