Crash Course 2? First I’ve heard of that. Is that a follow up to Dorito’s Crash Course? I hope so!

    • Karl Cramer

That was a great game. Would love if Doritos put out a sequel.

      • Lee Rayson

I think this one from Microsoft but i think it is a squeal

      • NBA Kirkland

It probably wouldn’t be free this time around, but that’s OK with me. I would pay for a sequel.

    • Hugoku

That game was really good. More than it had any right to be.
It was pretty addicting seeing how almost 100% of my friend list had it and kept posting times to the leaderboards. Last time I checked i was top of my friend list on all America and Europe courses.
Japanese ones got somewhat random though, never got around to finishing them, much trying for high scores.

talking about your self again, your a dickhead

    • Adam Daniel John Thompson

Either that or it’s Left 4 Dead 2 DLC… I’d be happy either way.

  • Hugoku

Any chance of streaming any of the panels? Or at least watch them later on our Xbox?

    • mcmax3000

Major Nelson’s podcast will be streamed. The Halo panel will not.

PAX is streaming everything from the Main & Kraken theatres to the best of my knowledge. I could see 343 putting the Halo panel on Halo Waypoint later on, like they did with a bunch of the Halo Fest stuff last year.

      • Hugoku

Thanks for the info! I rarely fire up Waypoint so it’s good to know.

        • fsdfg dsfds

Be good if you rarely commented

  • ElektroDragon

Hmm… same old sequels or reboots… maybe its good I couldn’t get tickets this year.

    • Lee Rayson

there is alot more to see than “sequels or reboots”

      • Russell Gorall

You might want to tell Microsoft that. He is just going by the list, which includes the two most prominent Xbox first party games being developed by alternate studios. Not exactly mind-blowing, and judging by the recent Arcade first party stuff I have zero faith with any DLC release.

        • Lee Rayson

Fact is Gears, Forza and fable may have the same name as the franchise games but Gears is a completely different game online and the story takes place before gears 1.
Forza wont be the same as the simulation forza so how is tht a squeal or reboot?
Fable is a kinect game that i dont believe follows the story from previous fable games

          • Russell Gorall

            Are you being sarcastic?

          • Lee Rayson

am i ? depends on your perspective

      • Miller

Well we all know you’re the new MN kiss-ass, since that annieken guy has left, so you would say that. Read the Xbox list that major posted. What do you see?

  • metallicorphan

Halo,Gears,Forza,Fable….LOL,i think that has been the Xbox Line up for the past 6 years

  • fsdfg dsfds

Free to play – so it begins

  • Jay Towie

    Dear Major Nelson/Microsoft Xbox Division,

Please can you tell me when we will get some new IP on 360? You seem to be playing it very safe with the sequel after sequel of Gears, Forza, Fable, Halo blah blah blah and I for one are very bored playing the same series again and again.

I realize it is risky creating new IP but surely other gamers are going to start feeling like this too (many do already) when we get to Forza 10, Fable 9, Halo 11 etc… Surely it can’t go on?!

My once beloved Xbox 360 now sits there like my Wii collecting dust while I play more original titles on iPad and 3DS. Please let me love it again with some new original content. Also where the frick has PGR gone?

  • BostonSup

With Nintendo coming out with their new generation of hardware soon (rumored Nov. 18), Xbox should be following holiday season. Most developers/publishers wait for the beginning of a new console cycle to release new IPs. A new IP is extremely risky because they don’t know if it will sell (a sequel and reboot tends to be safe). Putting in time, money, and resources into a new IP is safer by selling a “next generation game” with the “next generation system”.

When the new Xbox is out is when you will see new IPs, along with a few reboots, and even non-cut and paste sequels. So expect new graphic engines and features (even for the cash cow games like CoD… I doubt they can get away with another cut, paste, tweak job).

Sorry, but for this part of the console cycle, I would be very surprise to see a new retail game IP.

  • Jason Block

Gears Judgment just cant come soon enough!!

  • Zack Stein

Any word on that Barbie Horse Adventures reboot?
