downloading it, i may buy this one as i dont own the one that wa spulled from XBLA a few years back
All those games that been pulled if i of known id bought them before they went

    • Hugoku

Some never comeback though. I bough Smash TV way back then and when I got a new Xbox i could not download it again.

      • GibMonkey

Same thing happened to me when Ultimate MK3 was released. Was not available for download after I switched consoles. I was able to remedy this by logging into my account at xbox.com and going through my buy history (back 2 years or so) finding my purchase and asking to re-download from there. Good luck!

      • Justin A Stewart

Did you check your download history that is how you can redownload games check there.

  • Hugoku

Finally will be able to see what this is about. On screenshots, it looks dysmal. An afront to my childhood memories.

    • ElektroDragon

I got it free on PSN Plus and it was hardly worth the download. Majesco published it, are you surprised?

      • Lee Rayson

“i got it free by paying for PSN Plus”

        • ElektroDragon

And you don’t pay for Live Gold? At least the pay version of PSN gives me lots of “free” games.

          • Lee Rayson

Actaully i dont pay for xbox live, one of the perks of my job and the paid version of PSN give you free rentals you dont own those games once your sub is up

          • ElektroDragon

I don’t see how that is a problem seeing as how I plan to renew Plus until the end of time.

          • Lee Rayson

There no problem just dont sugar coat what PSN+ really is

        • http://www.thetjhzone.blogspot.com/ Tylerh1701

Common sense. Everyone knows PS+ costs money. Saying he got it free with PS+ is all he needed to say. Now if he said he got it free on PS3, then maybe you’re correction would have been necessary.

        • Russell Gorall

“I got it free by paying for The Internet, a router, a house to play the game in, a console AND for Valtrex.”

          • Lee Rayson

            Valtrex? you got issues o_O

      • gamereviewgod

Yeah, but it was developed by WayForward, so the publisher is irrelevant. It’s an outstanding tribute to not only DD, but beat-em-ups in general. References are everywhere. The fighting system takes time to feel out, but it gels beautifully once you’re in.

        • Justin A Stewart

I tried the demo and enjoyed it so I bought it. I can’t wait till it gets patched to have online co-op. Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

        • Riddick Snipes

          Spot on my man!

  • Riddick Snipes

Looks insane, really! All I can say is I just finished the demo and was really impressed with the quality. This remake is incredibly good looking. Now I’ve just bought it and gotta work 2moro morning but I can’t wait to level stuff up. The music remixes r really cool as well as some sweet moves. The chicks look hot and the first time u hit someone with the bat you will know u want this game. Any kind of fan of the original should love this. Again it looks hot as!!!! And only 800 points! And also its 2.24 gigs which is mind blowing for xbla. Can’t wait 4 jet set next week.

epic fail… great way to ruin a good franchise…:(

    • ElektroDragon

      Agreed.

    • Riddick Snipes

      So don’t buy it.

      • Superman64

He doesn’t have to buy it, but that doesn’t mean he can’t give his opinion about the game either…like you did with your paragraph above about how much you liked it.

        • Riddick Snipes

Perhaps he should explain his opinion like I did. Maybe in a paragraph instead of 2 words.

          • Superman64

Why? He’s not obligated to justify his opinion to you. And even if he did write up a paragraph you still would like the game and he wouldn’t. So it doesn’t even matter.

          • Riddick Snipes

What r u a Mormon? Isnt that y people write comments on this site? To explain their opinion. If I justify my opinion the least I expect is for others to justify theirs. Like I said, if he doesn’t like it don’t buy it.

          • Superman64

Am I a Mormon? What does religion have to do with anything? Actually people write comments to express themselves. They can explain their opinions more if the want to, but they are not obligated to. It doesn’t matter if you want to justify yours. And he already knew he didn’t have to buy it. And you already knew that he knew that. The reality is you got your feelings hurt because someone didn’t like something you did so you decided to make a snide little remark by saying “So don’t buy it.” That is what really is going on here.

          • Riddick Snipes

Snide little remark? Believe me ive seen worse on this site. Anyway back to reality. The reality is yes, no one is obligated to explain themselves, but it sure helps when someone does. He could have explainedhow the game is an epic fail and I find it hard to believe he is a fan of the franchise. All I said was so don’t buy it. Big deal. And for the record Clark, superman 64 was an epic fail.

          • Superman64

It doesn’t matter if you’ve seen worse, you still made a snide remark. I mean what was the point of you telling him that? Are you really that naive that you think he didn’t know he didn’t have to buy it? And again, it doesn’t matter if he explained himself or not. Nothing would’ve changed. You would’ve kept liking the game and he would’ve kept not liking the game. And for the record Vin, I know Superman 64 was bad. Look up the word irony.

          • Russell Gorall

            The Internet.

          • Riddick Snipes

            Meaning?

    • http://twitter.com/aseddon130 Aaron Seddon

Double Dragon is good? could have fooled me.

  • http://twitter.com/MacUser1986 Michael Dolcin

Awful game, I got it free on Playstation Plus and wow the older DD game is so much better. Glad I bought it before it disappeared forever.

  • kingcrusher

Actually, not exactly true. Lost Cities (a highly underrated card game) is not available for re-download, so if I ever lose it, it’s gone forever. As it stands, since I had it 3 RROD systems ago, I can only play it while online (due to the DRM garbage) Kind of irks me, and is the main reason I don’t like the download model for games. You are at the mercy of when they want to take game away and you’re just out of luck when it happens.

    • Lee Rayson

First time i ever heard the game being delisted and not being able to be recovered, all the rest of the delisted games can be re downloaded, id check with Major on this one

    • markfarmer593

Kingcrusher… how odd you should bring that game up. I thought of Lost Cities the other day and had the brainwave of going through my download history. I nver bought it at the time but still managed to re-download the trial. So like Lee says, I’d check with Major on this one.

Pretty good game though.. wish i’d bought it at the time :(
Why did they delist it!? Shame :’(

  • http://profiles.google.com/harrypottersdaddy Harry Potter

    GOTY

  • Russell Gorall

At least it isn’t twenty bucks like that Jojo’s game a few weeks back. That being said, looks like DLC shovelware.

  • Hugoku

Actually, i replied already but since I added a link, my comment got lost in moderation limbo.

The fact is, i did try to recover from my console. And I get an error (“content can’t be retrieved at this time” or something like that). That didn’t happen with the rest of my content so I’m stuck with the trial version for Smash TV and Gauntlet I think.

Now, i did not try via the xbox site. Not sure if it’ll make a difference but I have added both games succesfully to the queue. Will check when I get home.

    • Lee Rayson

Lemme know if it works it should though :)

      • Hugoku

Well, it was in the queue but download would not even move past 0% (yes, zero). It’s a small download, around 50MB, but waited 5 minutes and no dice. DDNeon trial downloaded just fine. Oh well.

        • Lee Rayson

Hmm, if i wa syou id contact someone about this, i have a few games delisted myself but i can redownload them fine(UMK3, Dino dash of destruction)

          • Hugoku

Considering I played it enough back then, i’d say i got my $5 back. Not worth the hassle of spending my time with support people on the phone.
If it were Outrun OA though…

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Alice-Lockhart/100000438939703 Alice Lockhart

Just buy Mark of the Ninja -3-.

  • Riddick Snipes

Well they clearly passed that assignment. And then some.
