Just the single most annoying thing ever.
*Oh you’ve spent £80+ on both games ? Great !! Now spend some more so that you can swap between your favourite sports games without having to swap disks!!$$£££!!!*

    :/

I think this aimed at people who didnt pick it up the first timr around aka me but i understand what you mean perhaps expect it more with the causal kinect games.

I am thinking about buying this though i just need to work it into the rest games im getting this xmas

      couldn’t agree more John marden

Would have been better served to take a cue from Rock Band and just import the first disk into the second game, but hey, why spend $10 when you can rebuy the at $60? Good thinking Micro$oft.

      it’s actually 49 on Amazon not 60

I’m glad I didn’t pick up Season 2 now. I’ll pick up this pack and then give season 1 to my nieces and nephew when I give them their christmas present kinect this year

Aimed at people who haven’t bought either game before obviously. One of the best examples of what the Kinect can do. Lots of fun, especially when company comes over.

    Remember when Rare made games?

    • Darth Vargi

I don’t know this and don’t trust VGChartz but I think the original Kinect Sports sold more than any other Rare developed game on the 360, if it wasn’t the top selling I imagine it was up there with Banjo Kazooie and the first Viva Pinata. I actually have liked all of the Rare developed games on the Xbox family (including Grabbed by Ghoulies and Conker’s Bad Fur Day remake) but it is a shame to see them not reaching the success levels they had with Nintendo. Like I said I like all of the Rare developed games on the Xbox family but I agree, they haven’t been the same on the Microsoft side.

Whats the differnce between this and the Kinect Sports Double Pack ?

    • Darth Vargi

It’s the same game I think. It has Kinect Sports (the original) without the DLC interestingly although most of it is free except the calorie counting game and all of Kinect Sports Season 2 with all DLC. It’s the same game, I think it got renamed.

  • Darth Vargi

Most consider Kinect Sports Season 1 to be one of the best Kinect games to date. I think Kinect Sports Season 2 is also decent and together they are some of the most responsive Kinect games on the market. Even people who constantly complain about Kinect because their play environment doesn’t really work well with the device usually love the Rare Kinect games (somehow they compensate for less than desirable play environments).

I’m guessing you haven’t played either one. They’re not bad, not as realistic as say Sports Champions and not as much variety as in Wii Sports Resort but they more than make up for it in charm and fun. The reason they disabled comments is to prevent people who haven’t even played the games from writing uninformed comments (like what you see for say DBZ Kinect or Fable The Journey from people who haven’t even played the games yet).
