      I just saw that the original Crysis, which got a similar Games on Demand release, was on sale for $10 recently (no idea if it still is or not), so I’d say there’s a hope.

        The sad thing it’s that Crysis is (still) on sale, but only for USA xbox accounts… Why this meaningless discrimination?

          I was wondering if that was the case, but I didn’t know for sure to say so. For some stupid reason, a lot of the Games on Demand sales are US only.

          I’ve seen a couple I would’ve picked up for the sale prices if I could’ve. As ridiculous as normal GoD pricing is, some of the sale prices aren’t bad.

      Code Veronica was 800 points in a one day sale a month or two ago. It might go on sale again but I don’t know how the Games on Demand sales work.

    Activision Publisher it’s only for some countries? Because i’ve seen people talking about Transformers War for Cybertron for 640MP or 800MP but here it’s still 1600MP. As for the rest of the deals, eh, this week it’s good but not for me, i’ll wait for Toy Soldiers CW dlc’s and Renegade ops next week…

    It’s guaranteed that the Games on Demand releases will be way overpriced as usual. Speaking of people wanting certain games to come out on it just pick it up on disc and save yourselves a lot of pennies.

    Looking forward to Sonic Adventure though, great game.

      Don’t bother, you’ll be disappointed on how difficult the game is regardless of what difficulty setting you put it on. You have to lower it so much to get it to the original game’s difficulty, otherwise get owned, a lot. Glad I didn’t buy it to notice that, I would be pissed.

    As always, if I go to my local gamestore, I can purchase these “Activision Special sales” for under half the price of the downloaded content. NEW! :-| Is this how it’s supposed to be? I think the prices on XBLive are unnaturally high these days. And I’d ratrher own my own DVD copy than fill my HD up with stuff that don’t sell as much as Activision would like it to…. ;-)

      Indeed.

      The old argument of “we can’t under price the retailers or they will get pissed” no longer works, seeing as Sony seem to be managing to do it without issues.

      There have been a few games lately I picked up digitally on PS3 because they were comparable to their second-hand price. Sadly, that sort of thing NEVER happens on Xbox so I continue to buy a large chunk of games second-hand and thus both Microsoft and the publishers are making no money on that.

      While that sounds like a good idea but it won’t work in terms of wanting content from “old” games. It will be nothing but recent new and popular titles while others who want sales on old content will be out voted.

      Check out my “A world of Keflings” comment. The only reason why that game FINALLY went on sale is because of a DLC that’s coming soon.If that never happen, and the voting system was introduced, I would be heavily out-voted because who still cares for that old game? The same could be said for the DLC of Left 4 Dead 1. It’s all about Left 4 Dead 2 now.

      The only thing I don’t agree with is the “Xbox Live Gold member” thing, I still believe that Silver members should be able to get in on the discounts, Microsoft would get more money if they did, but who am I? I’m just a crazy person.

    Waiting for the The Gunstringer DLC to become discounted again. And not as a Deal of the Week. Investing in gold doesn’t make sense for me, most of my gaming now being kinect related.

    I know this is a little premature considering it’s only been released in the past week, But does anyone know long it would take for Resident Evil 6 to reach the Games on Demand on Xbox Live? I always think games should be released for the GOD around the same time as the hard copy release date. Anyhow, I thought I should ask about this.
