      Not just a milestone of an arcade beating a retail game, a game beating Call of Duty, period. That in itself is amazing. How long has Call of Duty been at the top, 5-6 years straight without anyone getting close.

    minecraft is great. it’s sad that you focus on graphics more than gameplay. you probably only played the demo and turned it off in less than 20 minutes. I have friends who thought the same way then they bought it. now they play only minecraft

      When i was introduced to the xbox 360 in 2009 i started playing halo 3. i was mainly a nintendo fan but i once owned every nintendo system, PS1,PS2, atari 2700 and 3 saga consoles. I never had an original xbox console. I was the the true definition of gaming nerd lol. Halo 4 is coming nov 6th i bet you can not wait, neither can i lol.

    2)Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
    3)EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13 – i stillt hink this will creep up a another place
    4)Call of Duty: Black Ops
    5)Borderlands 2 – still holding in there but could do better
    6)Halo: Reach – got back in there due to excitement for halo 4
    What i like most about this is Halo 3 spent along time at the top spot and it was only mw2 that took it off and no game has came close since, normally Cod games knock each other off the list but to see Minecraft take the top spot from MW3 before the next CoD is quiet interesting
    I know BL ops 2 will take top spot day one but can it last till the next Cod?

    See larry alot of fans weren’t lying about mw3 being so lame and boring. I am one of the call of duty fan boys that is very disappointed at how MW3 turned out and I am very happy to say Congrats to 4JStudios, Mojang and Microsoft and Thank you for bringing Minecraft to the xbox live arcade and your welcome. Its about time we see mw3 get knocked off of that undeserving number 1 spot. however i always will be a cod fan just not for infinity ward. Us loyal gamers should burn are mw3 games or have a party yay MW4 Better not be as disapointing. Black ops 2 is around the corner but i truly can not wait to see what everyone at Mojang, Microsoft And 4JStudios Instore for us. The wait and anticipation and pain taking but i will try my hardest to remain patient.

      Well, while seeing any non-COD (or non-FPS for that matter) game at the top of the charts is a very welcome change, I’d say it is hardly any indicative of what the community thinks as a whole of MW3. Being #2 (out of 100s, maybe 1000s of games) is not a disaster by any means. It’s very popular and people is happy with it (and if not, just happy enough to keep playing it non-stop).

    COD is such poop. it’s the same game every single year. just like madden and the 2k games.
    I mean seriously, they pay a graphic designer to redesign the title screen and menu and repackage the same game. Its sad that millions of people are too dumb to catch on.
