    I’m confused. Is this a remake of the original DMC, or one of those numberless sequels?

    Giving it a try either way. Haven’t played the original, but Bayonetta was from the same studio, and that was an AWESOME game.

      I lost track but last i read, it’s a reboot of dante’s origins set in a parallel world where he grew up in an orphanage controlled by demons. So… yeah.

    Ooh. I’ve been looking forward to this. A bit scared that they’ll mess with it too much, but also hoping it’ll be an awesome reboot.

    Boe2 – No it’s a reboot/original take on the franchise from Ninja Theory (makers of Enslaved and Heavenly Sword). Not the same devs as Bayonetta – that was Platinum and they’re doing Metal Gear Rising now, and Bayonetta 2 for Wii U.

      I don’t know then why I though Bayonetta was related to DMC, possibly because they are similar games. Thanks for clearing that up :)

        The creator of Bayonetta, Shinji Mikami, is also the creator of the original Devil May Cry games (and Resident Evil, among others), but he left Capcom after they closed his Clover Studio and formed PlatinumGames. He’s not involved with the DmC reboot.
