I have trials for all three queued to download. I’m glad these are ports of the arcade versions. Why weren’t these grouped together under the SVC label?

    • http://twitter.com/Navarin Bennijin

Because they’re the under the Model 2 Collection label.

  • Lee Rayson

Bought the sonic one since i have all other sonic arcade games, may try VF and get that one aswell

  • Hugoku

Love the pricing. I would hate to pay more just to get FV.
Sonic TF is very shallow and I see no point in getting VF2 since I already have VF5 FS. Could get it as a DotW though, for nostalgia’s sake.

No doubt the reason that these might sell well is for the easy achievements, which is a shame as they were poor even back in the day.

Except Virtua Fighter 2 is a multi-million budget game that used US military technology to add realistic 3D faces to video games, advancing 3D gaming to what we visually know it as today.

Us folks who do not live in Ignorant-Ville will be sure to try it!

I know this is pretty much useless after such a long time, but… Please release Killer Instinct!

I use to play Sonic Jam back in the day and seen pictures of this on the game but never got to play it,looks like I finally will^_^

    • http://twitter.com/Navarin Bennijin

Wouldn’t mind seeing an SVC: Sonic Jam get released. Sure we have the games already but they’re shoddy Backbone ports and I’d love to see M2 do them some fully-featured justice.

Seriously, go load up the original Golden Axe or Streets of Rage 2 XBLA/UGC ports then load up their SVC incarnation. The difference is staggering.

What we really need is Fighters Megamix!

    • http://twitter.com/ENich1 E.Nich

Yes, and we need it for 400MSP as well.

yes killer instinct me want. it was actualy a launch line up game in the uk OXM back in 2005. it was one of the reasons i got the 360 so early. that and thinking halo 3 would be out in 2006.

oh and microsoft renewed the killer instinct copyright a few weeks ago.

  • JuanCabrera

I had heard rumors ever since the 360 launched. I wasn’t sure if Nintendo or Microsoft were owners of the license but Microsoft renewing their copyright recently confirms they have it but won’t do anything with it. =

i have no idea why they dont release it. it is one of the best ever 2d fighting games. it will no doubt be on the launch line up for the next xbox again to sell a few consoles :-)

MS owns the IP to killer instinct, MS just won’t let Rare make games, Rare is mostly dead now because of microsoft.

  • http://twitter.com/Navarin Bennijin

I had to jump on these, I would have pumped more than the total cost of all three into just one of the arcade cabinets back in the day! SEGA’s really been on the ball lately and I’m happy to reward them with my points.

(FYI, that Skirt Destroyer achievement can do one.)

    400MSP? They still do exist? That’s nice…

  • Mr Krebs

Fighting Vipers FTW!! Use to love that game… that dude w/ the flying V guitar…

  • Nick Peck

I loved the old VF games, 2 was a lot of fun, might grab it at some point.

the sad thing is these will end up being free PSN+ titles in a month or 2, we already got sonic 1 and 2 free and sonic adventure 2 on sale.
