      Since Walking Dead Ep1 is free for a whole week instead of just today I wonder if it is this week’s sale item and not really part of this daily promotion. Is it available for everyone or just Gold members? Maybe there will be another post about it later on.

    Rock of Ages is all I’ve been waiting for, great game. 200 is a steal.

      I’m not interested either but I do agree. Compared to 2011 holiday deals this is a huge improvement. Not sure that it’s competing with Steam yet, but it’s getting there. At least I’ve bought a title.

      I have a feeling the MS infrastructure is more expensive to run than the Steam one. That could be a reason why you’re not seeing super low prices.

        if steam were a mountain it be everest, the xbox sales would be an ant hill. xbox “sales” are in reality usually more then steam price of the games, when steam isn’t having them on sale.

    Why disappointed? the complete list of offers has been leaked from the beginning of the sale (even days before).

    Hydro Thunder is even cheaper than I had expected and I loved it and recommend everyone to at least try the demo, is great if you like racing games besides having 4-player local multiplayer and online multiplayer.

    I’ve been playing all night and I think is a very complete game and at that price is a steal.

    Rock of Ages is also very cheap and looks like a good game and if after seeing what comes in two weeks my budget allows I buy it for sure.

      Also noticed last night, the Windows 8 version of Hydro Thunder Hurricane has been marked down to only $3.99 (normally, $9.99), so grab it while it is on sale, I have had the XBLA version since 2010, but noticed right away the Windows 8 version is simply gorgeous . . . much better than it does on XBLA – higher resolution, better lighting, higher res textures, better fire and water effects, the colors pop more, cleaner, sharper look, and can get a lot more geometry onscreen . It plays like a dream on my desktop PC as well as on my Surface, and supports Xbox controller on both (as well as touch/motion controls on Surface). plus it comes with all the content from the Tempest Pack DLC at no extra charge. Then there is always Achievements, and leaderboards. For $3.99, it is a very sweet deal; especially if you are a Hydro Thunder fan. And for newbies to the series, thanks to today’s sale, you can now pick up both versions of this game, for less than the cost of normally getting just one version.

      So now that I have both versions of Hurricane, I can get my Thunder-on where ever I am, whenever I get the itch for it.

    not the best but not the worst sale.., i’l never buy kinect so only game i’d get here is hydro thunder, rock of ages was free to PSN+ members a few months ago, fruit ninja is a game my sister got free on her iphone iirc…

    Walking dead for free is cool for the ten people that couldnt afford a $5 game. Hydro thunder is good but should have seen a price drop a long time ago. Not great for a christmas day sale. And please let the rumors be false about tomorrows sale being Counterstrike GO.

      Or didn’t want to invest a series that they weren’t sure about at the time and then by the time the whole set was out decided to wait for a lower price or cheaper disc release.

      i would hardly say it’s cause people couldn’t afford a 5 dollar game. In reality it’s a 25 dollar game separated in parts. Cause they knew no one would want to drop 25 bucks in one shot for a arcade game.
