Rockstar has announced that GTV V is being released on September 17th, 2013.

    seems odd timing especially with rumors about new consoles possibly debuting this year.

      if reports of manufacturing issues are true, I’d rather MS wait til 2014 so we don’t have another RROD or similar issue. but the release isn’t that odd 1) plenty of people will not be able to afford buying a next-gen xbox 2) if this was a lesser game, it may seem odd, but this is one of the most anticipated games of the last two years 3) the next gen console will be fully backwards compatible, both games-wise, party-wise, avatar-wise, arcade-wise, etc, or MS is the stupidest company alive.

      Dude. Seriously? They havent even been shown at E3 yet. Even then they usually do that a year in advance. Besides, with the capability of upgrading the software in the systems, i see both 360 an ps3 lasting til about 2015

    Perhaps bundle it with your next console this year?
    Even for a current gen game, it would help sell the next gen considerably.

    Dam, I was looking forward to this one now, maybe they will do a PC release with xbox live achivements like they did with GTA 4 (but, I hope they release it at the same time)
