      Just create new account on USA, buy online some MSP and download a game. After downloading a game switch back to your actual gamertag and play it. Simple as abc :)

      I paid $60 for the game, and it makes sense to pay for something rather than stealing, just because you’re unhappy about the price.

        I guess you paid this price for physical version right after release, that makes sense.
        But I don’t see how making random prices for diffirent countries makes sense, because an old game GoD on ULTIMATE sale shouldn’t cost almost like new one. Why is it called sale then?
        I don’t encourage piracy and buy my games for xbox, but I just mentioned a thing that exists.
        BTW legally speaking piracy is not stealing (but illegal anyway)

    I checked Assassins Creed 1 last week as I knew it was in the sale and it was priced at £11.99.
    Today it’s £8.99. Not exactly 50%. Or have Microsoft raised the base price so they can CLAIM that it’s 50%?

    I’d love to get AC2 and Brotherhood. What sucks is that my region is UK and right now I am outside of UK and it won’t let me buy them! This is also true for yesterday’s sale with DIRT 2 and Virtua Fighter 5.

    Last month I bought Borderlands 2, all Skyrim DLC’s and other stuff from the marketplace without any problem?!

    There’s also other stuff I wanna get from the sale!

    The discount prices go by US prices. They are 50% off in the US. Where he is located. He pointed out that other countries prices may be different or the savings might not be as much because of conversion and the current cost of the game in that country.

            It has nothing to do with currency, Canada just don’t have the same deals, Europe don’t even have El shaddai.
            Dirt 2 is 3$ in Canada, $5 in US, 10 Euros in europe.

    I was happy about the sale, until I found out that most games would save the discount only for the mightiest of all countries – USA. Maybe the GoD server is located there, so they don’t need to ship the digital data too far, thus keeping the fuel costs down.

    I would almost think what microsoft is doing is criminal, on the first page to buy brotherhood it says its 9.99, when i click download to xbox, the price suddenly changes to 19.99. everyone who buys anything should double check thier credit card statements for the right price, and dispute any overcharges with your credit card company.

    Guys, yes, it should’ve been conversed into the right amount towards different regions, but let’s face it, this is Microsoft we’re talking about here. It’s gonna be done in as a US-based release, and they will match all prices to match the US prices and give out terrible conversion rates. Meaning, yes Canada, you’ll have to suffer.

    I thought that the discounts were supposed to be up to 75%, not 50% or even worse 33% like yesterday.
    Probably I will not buy anything unless Fable III will have a descent discount.

      yeah microsoft’s definition of ultimate is obviously different that mine. there are a few good deals but i was thinking all of the GonD would be on sale, and at good prices. i should have known better.
