Xbox LIVE World Premiere Broadcast for Gears of War: Judgment Sunday March 3!

Join me this Sunday March 3 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT for the Gears of War: Judgment World Premiere live event streamed over Xbox LIVE to your Xbox 360 console.

Developers from Epic Games will be on hand to debut brand new, never-before-seen reveals including Aftermath and Survival Mode. I’ll be hosting the event and we will allow viewers to vote live during the show for the gameplay you want to see and get your questions answered during interactive interviews with Epic’s Chris Wynn and Alan Van Slyke by tagging your questions on Twitter with #GearsJudgment.

PLUS, we’re giving away* a custom Gears of War: Judgment Xbox 360 console as well copies of the game*

Selected winners will be announced live during the broadcast.

The live stream will be available in the US and Canada, for other select markets where the event is not broadcast, a video on-demand version will be available shortly after the event.

This “Ultimate Sale” has left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. Enough to change platform in the next gen. The Sale has been very one sided. Seems like we’re on the end that pays for the discounts the U.S. are getting. If it wasn’t bad enough trying to pass off the $ as equal to €/£, The real insult was when Downloadable games are priced more higher ($2.99 = €14.99??) around the globe and more expensive than the store (Physical edition) in some cases. May Piracy reign supreme with attitudes like that. Major Nelson, Major Fail, Major Disaster.

  I have already started saving up to grab a PS3. I figure my current 360 and a PS3 can keep me gaming for another couple of years and then I’ll see how the next gen is going and decide what I want then. I have been a hardcore Xbox fanboy since the launch of Xbox 1. I despise everything about Sony. Buying the next Xbox used to be a no brainer. That I’m considering going PS4 really says a lot about how badly MS has boggled a lot of things the past couple of years.

I wonder if MS realizes how important this game is in saving them from bankruptcy. Think about it – the only core gaming exclusive franchises they have that set them apart from Sony is Halo and Gears. Gears 3 was a big letdown, campaign-wise and MP-wise. Horde was well done, but 1 out of 3 ain’t cutting it. IF this Gears is a well-received success (and I mean by the summer gamers really still care, not 1st week sales), MS stand a chance of keeping their solid gamer base going into the next-gen; however, if this Gears is another failure like Gears 3 was (again, 1st week sales don’t mean much in the long-run), all they have is Halo and Forza which is mitigated by a $60 annual fee that gives the user no tangible benefits – that ladies & gents could be how Microsoft’s Xbox brand dies in a single console generation because I can’t imagine many gamers paying $60 annual just to play two franchises when they can pay no additional charges for 5 different exclusive AAA single player franchises. MS, are you listening, its time to come down off your perch and get a dose of reality…you need to change Xbox Live for the better or risk consumer damnation.

      how am I full of it? Sony is adding the features Xbox Live has for free. with PSN+ you get free content while your a subscriber, Xbox Live gives you nothing. Xbox Live had party chat and MP exclusives that mattered to me, now only Halo is relevant (hopefully Gears: Judgement will make Gears relevant again). Why pay $300 over the course of 5 years just to be allowed to play 2 more Halo games? You see the list of games MS first party studios are making? 1 new unknown supposed AAA FPS that is rumored to be having issues, Halo 5, a new Forza, maybe Gears 4, and a bunch of Kinect kids games. MS is too focused on kids games IMO, or at least needs to expand their first party studios to make more core-gamer exclusives because, financially, I need more reason to continue paying $60 per year for “access” to games I already paid $60 to own. Idk if MS has structured themselves to rely upon Xbox Live subscription fees, but it seems they have based on an MS exec’s interview earlier this year. you lose gamers, you lose your revenue stream, you’re done. MS could obviously bail its Xbox brand out, but it doesn’t mean they would, they might focus on other things and sink the ship…business is business.
