      Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica are really good games. You might not like RE5 or 6, depending on if you like action games or not. Operation Raccoon City really isn’t too great compared to the others.

      What the other have said, Raccoon City was fun for me, only because I played as a 4 man team with friends, solo on the other hand not so much, the AI isn’t helpful at all. 6, I tried to play, but there should be a demo for that if you want to give it a go before considering it!

    Oh wow, today’s games are much more competitive in terms of price. Surprised to see Code Veronica $.05 cheaper in Australia when compared to the US of A.

    Now, which game to buy? I want to do it ASAP, because knowing our luck, prices were done incorrectly and they will be inflated.

        RE5 is “Very good” in my opinion. I have only rented RE6 and it was just to darn slow.

    Are CV, 4, and 5 worth getting? I also want to get L4D2 and Orange Box, and possibly even El Shaddai. I have about 4500 MSP. But I don’t know if I should save some of them for games like GRID or Tomb Raider.

      CV is old-style (survival horror action adventure) RE at its best.

      4,5 are more like Gears of War style TPS, but you can’t shoot and run at the same time.

      5 supports online/offline 2-player coop.

      I enjoyed playing all of them.

    Just bought Resident Evil 6 on disc for 20 bucks or I would grab that up. But I am glad I got Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood so I could see what all the hype with the series was all about. But really looking forward to the “Orange Box” deal and Portal 2. Hoping to get Portal 2 for 5 bucks and Orange Box for 10. Also I may want to pop on Peace Walker if I can get it for 5-10 bones.

    Picked up Code Veronica well worth the 5 bucks, but res 4 should have been 5 bucks as well or I would have picked it up even though I never card for it. Why pay 19.99 for res 6 when you can get the disc brand new for that price.

      Digital games also has pros and cons, for example, you don´t have to worry about scratching your games but I´m agree with you about the price. Digital content should be cheaper.

    RE4 & RE5 are pretty good specially if you got a buddy to play with. RE:ORC is a joke avoid that one, RE 6 is OK but try 4&5 first

    I just can’t stand why the prices in MSP can’t be the same everywhere, like Arcade Games.

    In US we buy RE: Code Veronica for 400 MSP… in UK it’s 520 MSP.

      I don’t know if it’s the same in the Netherlands, but it would be €10 + tax. Hence the extra 40 MSP.

    I don’t understand. Grid, Call of Juarez etc were $4.99, which was £2.69 for us UK folks, but dirt 2 – which was also $4.99, was £4.49. Now it seems Code Veronica is £4.49, when it’s showing the same price in the US store as the games I got for £2.69.

    Is this going to be fixed, or is it intentional?

      Prices are dependent on region – had the same weirdness for some games in Canada. I’ve literally got Assassin’s Creed 1 showing for 19.99 while AC2 is 9.99, Revelations is 14.99 and Brotherhood is 9.99…

      Figure that one out. Heh

It’s almost like they don’t want people to take advantage of this sale, it’s barely promoted, everyone not in the US gets bent over on the pricing and its like a big mystery regarding what’s going on sale.

      Dead Island is an awesome game, bit if you’re one of the few who gets motion sickness from wobbly cameras, then you may want to play it first. Same with Dishonored.

    I would have bought RE4 and RE5 buy they’re almost twice as expensive here in the UK ($13.64). Twice the amount of US prices? Some ultimate sale. I’ll pick them up as preowned hard copies. They’re still cheaper that way and it won’t take up any more space on my overpriced xbox HDD. Microsoft don’t really seem to understand how pricing should work for downoadable games (here’s a hint, they should be cheaper than retail!)

    New games come out for around the £40 mark here, but if you’d like to download the digital copy from live at launch it costs £60. £20 more than physical media. Soooo stupid.

    Remember that this RE5 isnt the gold edition so doesnt worth a penny (specially considering that Crapcom put the DLC on the disc)

    RE6 is a joke.
