    Right it’s been acknowledged that the prices haven’t been changed and they’re going to start fixing the prices but isn’t it a bit late for that? It’s great they’re being fixed but I’d like some word as to whether these deals are only good until the morning when tomorrows deals would have normally gone up or if they’ll be extending the deal so we get 24 hours to purchase the games that are on sale.

    I’m just heading off to bed because I need to be up in the morning. I’ll be a bit annoyed if the deals are only good until the morning and I miss out on some good games.

      i agree. They said is start at 6am. So for me it took them 9 1/2 hrs to acknowledge the problem. 9 1/2 hrs of complaints, yet 5 or more hrs of Gears updates. Glad they mentioned it, but come on.
      They should extend it to regions where the sale has already ended, or offer them a better discount

      I think its just the fact (depending where you live) it took almost 10hrs for them respond about it. And they have, and im happy about it. But it seems like a lot are gonna end up missing it due to ‘snag’. But like i said, they responded, so I will look into a 720 in a few years.

    This has been a rather poor sale for Canadians. Most of the $4.99 titles have been $14.99 here. Sony has much better sales and more consistent pricing between regions. I have always liked the 360 more but Sony is doing a lot more to garner loyalty among their users. It’s telling that It doesn’t feel like it’s worth renewing my Xbox Live membership but I look forward to the PS Plus updates every week even though the PS3 in the house isn’t mine.

        Hardly anyone does but there will probably be a few more players lurking around in multiplayer if they are actually able to grab the game at the discounted price in time.

        The MP for TF2 on the Xbox is something you could give a miss anyhow, there’s still exploits and bugs in there that will never be fixed and the host options allow the host to change class limits on the fly letting them set up and adjust the game so they’ll win every time.

I really appreciate your clear and frequent communication, and my compliments to the Xbox team for how quickly they got to work on fixing our paid service when things didn’t quite go according to plan. On a Sunday, too!.

    I’m in Canada and none of these sales are working. they sy 9.99 etc. but i go to peace walker and it is still 19.99??? I seriously don’t understand why it is so hard for you guys to get things right. So I want to buy a game on sale and I can’t. Way to go Microsoft

        its not just today. its almost everytime a big sale or something happens. They also messed up the points on the first day. Plus being from Canada half the stuff is overpriced when our dollar is at parity with US.

    I browsed the games on demand section of the marketplace and clicked on each individual game on Getsuga_Tensho’s list:
    Batman Arkham Asylum is £2.69 / 320MSP

    Though it seems to vary from person to person, for some its still showing the standard prices, others have been able to access the daily deals hub all day.

    The rest can be debated, but left for dead 2 is a definite steal for £4.49 as its currently £29.99 brand new on amazon uk.
