  • gary

Yay! Another pretend sale. You guys make me laugh with your laughable sales. A lot of these items on sales should be perma price dropped. Sadly I find PS4 more and more tempting as they actually deliver good deals like Steam. Besides 1600MSP for a bunch of terrible DLC for a buggy game that needs major patching is not worth it.

  • Xebu

Properly disappointed by this one, especially after I’ve just seen the PS3 spring sale and it lists Tomb Raider for £19.99!!! I tend to keep most of my gaming on Xbox but it’s tempting to break rank for that one.

  • Robert Lacroix

Fallout 3 was $5 a few weeks ago, went to gamestop and bought the game of the year edition used, installed all DLC and returned it. so for it all it cost me $5 and 10 min of driving to the store. I wont lie the last batch of sales that M$ had was pretty good but this is pathetic . Either way noone is forcing me to buy anything so I wont, here’s to hoping PSN has a good sale soon

  • George Hoppe II

Well 200 MS points for the last Fallout 3 DLC…. Time to dust off the disk.

  • Nick Pattelli

Wow… just bought assassins creed 3 season pass a few day ago… oh well!

  • Quaranj

Since this forum is supposedly viewed by the deals team, I thought I would post some suggestions for future deals instead of just repeating the “These are horrible” mantra going through here. Some of these have been done already, but newer users would likely jump at some of these, and the rest, well… stuff me and other friends have been waiting for.

There’s some newer stuff I’d like to see too like the Most Wanted Bundle and the Family Guy add-on, but I figured I’d give that time to make it’s rounds first. Agree? Disagree? Post your suggestions here, and maybe through the powers of positive thought, we can get some deals that we want here.

    • donkeyjrplus

the dlcs i agree with you on, the other stuff at the top is MOSTLY garbage.

      • GmailIsDown

XBLA games that I think are good:
        Lara Croft: GoL
        Splosion Man

        Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team
        Hydro Thunder
        Puzzle Fighter HD
        Triggerheart Exelica
        Islands of Wakfu
These are the games I am interested but haven’t bought yet.

        • Gene

Hmmm looks like you have missed last year’s holiday sale.

Also, most of these aren’t Xbox exclusive.

      • Bennijin

        >XBLA List.
        >Mostly garbage.

Hahaha no. There’s a few things in there that would need a HUGE drop before I would reccommend someone buy them by now sure but the only thing I’d put a “DO NOT PLAY” on is Wrecked.

    • Clint

I’d love to request a list of the games I am after too but unfortunately that’s not really how specials work. Specials are probably more about convincing those who had never considered a game to buy it. Not give discounts to those already wanting it.

      • Quaranj

That’s the thing though, I am unlikely to purchase most of these *unless* they drop. I’ve never considered spending full points on any of them. ;)

    • Quaranj

I’d also like to see a kick-down on Online passes for things more than a year old… especially for EA stuff. I’ve bought an Online Pass only to have EA shut the servers down before (I’m looking at *YOU* Sims 3 Pets)

      • John Doe

Your first mistake was buying an Online Pass.
Your second mistake was buying it for a EA game.

      • Bush O Connor

thats nasty on EA’s part. i think EA are going to change soon enough anyway. if they dont they wont last much longer from the flak they are getting. which they fully deserve

    • Bennijin

I’m just gonna shorten this list to “drop all XBLA games and DLCs that are really old to 75%-90% off the original price.

      • Curtis Isabell

        this guy knows what’s up.

if an arcade game is more than 3 years old it should be no more than $1, and it’s DLC should be $.50 each at most.
seriously a game like castle crashers should be $1 for it plus the DLC at this point.

    • gary

No one wants Dragon Rising DLC should be free, game is terrible. That list is woeful so much garbage on it. Get Red Alert 3 on PC better support more mods.

      • Bush O Connor

i play commanders challenge on the xbox, i have all the C&C’s on the pc but i just prefer to play this one on the xbox. hardest and best value for money arcade game i’ve ever bought.

        • gary

I would like that one to go on sale. RA3 online co-op is horrendous so many odd errors mid-game.

          • Bush O Connor

commanders challenge has no co-op/skirmish or the extra missions that pc version has gary, just incase you were thinking of getting it for that reason. it is 10x harder than RA3 which i stopped playing because there was no challenge. way too easy

    • E.Nich

I’d add to the list Skullgirls and Double Dragon Neon.

  • Bennijin

I could find old stuff that should have drastic permanent reductions and bang on about them until the cows come home but I’d like to talk about Roboblitz which for me is a shining example.

Now, the dashboard had a section on it recently entitled “Hidden Gems”. Anyway, Roboblitz was advertised in there and it was at this point I realized it was code for “old stuff still inexplicably full priced”.

Roboblitz launched on December 6th 2006 for 1200 and it has never not been that price, a price that it should never have launched at in the first place.

Roboblitz is as old as the Wii yet the price has never been reduced.

  • Alday

Oh well, at least we get Battleblock Theatre this week, right guys?

  • Jared Walsh

i got 4310 MSP Left witch one well i get ACIII Season Pass or Fallout 3 DLC Or Spider-man or Dishonored dlc or wwe Sales plz help me

    • Randall Johnson

Go with Spider-Man and ACIII Season Pass. You’ll end up with 1110 points left, which you should honestly save.

  • WillRon

The fact that this blog’s community has users with names like “PSN IS GARBAGE” makes me laugh sooo hard.

I’m even more of a riot on xbl! :)

  • ungeheier

I thought April 1st was a Microsoft Studios sale?

    • Brad Lavender

April 2nd, according to the last two-week listing.

      • ungeheier

        Hmmm. Ok. Thanks!

  • Mason Leeka

when will the next free microsoft points promotion be

  • chris

The Amazing Spiderman price is wrong for Australia. It is $29.95. I am sure that this is not a 60% saving.

    • Chuyi Wang

19.99 games in the US = 29.95 in Australia. Fact.

      • chris

I know that is what is says. I thought that at a 60% saving it would have been less, as i did not think it was as much as what it is priced at with the 60% saving.

  • JamesValadez

Deals are live now, in case you don’t want to wait until later

  • Asif Bashir

*Facepalm* So this is the 1st of April awesome 1 day deal huh? Dear oh dear…Anyone seen the deals Sony offers on their PSN? Why can’t we the GAMERS get deals like that? I seriously feel Microsoft has given us the biggest shaft this gen and it wont help them at all next gen…

  • Mark Farrington

Pretty sure these were billed as “awesome 1 day only” offers not to be missed. They’re frankly shit. I snagged the Dishonored DLC though, seemed rude not too ;)
I did expect more though :(

  • Dragoon893

    Really? That’s it?

  • Logan

  • Tyler

Oh look…more “sales”, What a joke. Everyone has the Fallout 3 DLC by now…

  • Junior Costa

ta shitting me with these deals

  • Justin Forsythe

damn of course after I go out of my way to pick up the goty edition lol

  • James Ward

Hmmm, I don’t have any of the Fallout 3 DLC, so 75% off looks damn good to me.

  • Nitramuse

    Well, that escalated quickly.

  • Clayton Broyles

Great prices, but darn it why not Fallout New Vegas!?!?!?!?!?

  • Bennijin

AC Anthology £47.23 at Amazon in case anyone was considering entering the franchise or is simply missing a few entries. Has AC1/2/B/R/3 plus all DLC for 2/B/R and the Season Pass for 3.

  • Lee Rayson (DarkGin87)

People will always want something for nothing an when they don’t get that they complain

Very well said. I feel alot of people don’t give Pachter the credit he deserves. It would also make perfect sense and I wouldn’t be surprised if the industry did crash. All this DLC microtransaction madness started last gen with the Xbox 1 and continued this gen with all 3 console manufacturers. I think the problem is here to stay unfortunately as long as people keep paying.

As far as Microsoft playing their cards right this gen goes.. the ball is in their court. If they ban used games, “require” a constant on internet connection, or continue to raise the price of live without making substantial changes to counteract the deals with PSN+.. people will leave.

I pretty much agree with everything here.

  • Curtis Isabell

im confused, usually a preview doesn’t have all the stuff but what is listed here is all there was..

  • John Doe

    I can see it already…
Halo Gears Halo Gears Halo Gears and Halo Gears.

  • Dečko Zagreb

      • Clint

….or you have everything you want already!

There are the Trials games, Dirt 2, GoW3, Resident Evil 6, Forza Horizon and a number of highly rated arcade games that immediately stand out to me.

    • Sunny Man

How did you know this? The list is correct, but some of the items (e.g. Ghost Recon Future Soldier) are not even mentioned by Major.
