  • BazSum

That’s an awesome price for those games! well worth a look if you haven’t already got them!

  • Denis Stepanov

What about DLC? Is they incuded O_o

    • The Dukenator

Splosion Man has free DLC. Comic Jumper is said to unlock some.

800ms points for a 9.76 megabyte file?? I think it needs to be 200ms points. Just seems like the adventure will end fast.

    • http://www.facebook.com/pete.osborne.50 Pete Osborne

I imagine when you buy the game it prompts you to download each of the games individually, Ms Splosion Man alone is something like 1.5Gb and Comic Jumper is around 1Gb so don’t worry about that. I hugely recommend this offer – it would originally have been 4000 points and they’re all games I’d recommend!

    • Getsuga_Tensho

They’re not the longest games in the world but they’ll last a good amount of time and have good replay value. I don’t think the 9.76Mb is right for this anyhow,The Maw alone is 148Mb. The size wouldn’t really indicate the length of the game anyhow. Terraria is 34Mb and that’ll last far longer than many retail games.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=704577773 Stephen Tordoff

The “game” you originally download is basically just a prompt to download the other games. Full size is 4.33GB.

200MSP would be crazy – Comic Jumper is still 1200MSP on its own!

    • http://twitter.com/TrashMKX Trash

      Do some research.

    • MaidenLOKO

      if you consider that:

      The Maw – 800
      splosion man – 800
      Ms splosion man – 800
      comic jumper – 1200

      1. it’s amost 80% off or;
      2. buy one and win 3 more;

      it’s undeniably a great deal!!

    • http://twitter.com/rogXue Justin Forsythe

      you be trollin ollin ollin

    • ungeheier

9.76 megabyte file? Comic Jumper alone is over a GB.

  • Reinier Martinez

That’s pretty awesome, thanks Larry. :D

  • http://twitter.com/ENich1 E.Nich

Great bundle, it’s a pity that I already own half of it’s games v_v

  • MaidenLOKO

well, this bundle has a great value!! I’m really enjoying the last sales, it seems MS finally decided to put some good values in the marketplace, however, it can alwalys get better :))!! Anyway, now is not the time to complain, good work in this one MS!!

Also I decided to try the punchcard, and it’s not that bad, in fact, I’m having a lot of fun with it, and this will fit perfectly!

  • The Dukenator

4 game bundle? I already own 3 of them.

The Maw – free with Xbox Live Gold 3+3 Month deal. I think Raptr gave some out codes, but not sure.
Ms. Splosion Man – 400MSP with Sales & Specials app
Splosion Man – bought full price. Bought another game the same day and price, which was ilomilo.
Comic Jumper didn’t interest me, thus no plans to buy it.

    • http://twitter.com/apstubbe Fismoln

Omg, Twisted Pixel and Microsoft must have forgot you already own 3 of the 4 games. Please Microsoft, remove this offer from xbox live, The Dukenator already owns 3 of the 4 games and he/she don’t want to own the 4th game. I know this because the Dukenator wrote all that useless info in the post above, look for yourselves if you don’t beleve me.

      • The Dukenator

You pick and choose the ones you want. No need to buy all of them at once.

        • http://twitter.com/apstubbe Fismoln

I strongly suggest you stay away from this bundle. Your posts gave me aids in the eyeballs.

      • lahcoe

One of the funnier comments I’ve read on MN. Thanks, Fismoln!

    • Does Not Equal

Fascinating. Perhaps you could tell us more regarding your game purchase history.

    • http://twitter.com/NAVARiN Bennijin

Then you don’t need to buy this bundle.

  • Sigognac

Interesting offer. But I would have a question. Once downloaded, will it appears in the game menu as one cover, with the same menu for all the games. Or will each game will appear as an individual game, as if we had bought them separately ?

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=704577773 Stephen Tordoff

They show up exactly as if you purchased them separately.

      • Sigognac

Thank you very much for your answer !

  • Sean

Literally everyone on xbox live needs to buy this

  • Chupon

Considering MS owns Twisted Pixel I am assuming this wasn’t too hard. However, for people with some of these games it’s not a great deal. Any plans to discount the individual games? I’d like to get Comic Jumper as that’s the only one missing, but I’m not going to spend 800 ms points just to get one game.

    • http://twitter.com/NAVARiN Bennijin

1200, which is odd as I thought it had been cut to 800 but apparently not. It’s never worth that, Comic Jumper’s the worst of the four for actual gameplay in my opinion.

      • Chupon

Oh sorry I meant the 800 for this bundle. I realize I’d be ‘saving’ 400 by getting the game for less, but I’d rather just get comic jumper. Would be even nicer if they’d give you codes that I could at least give away to others.

  • http://twitter.com/rogXue Justin Forsythe

and this is one of the many reasons twisted pixel rocks. You’d be dumb (unless you are broke) to pass that deal up, all of those games are worth way more than $2.50 each :D

  • http://www.facebook.com/AutomaticOcelot AutomaticOcelot GB

Comic Jumper still makes me laugh… between levels anyway. ;)
    “…it’s-it’s-it’s…it’s Bra-eeeyaa-yad”

Sometimes I wish my name was Brad so that I could set that song as my ringtone.

  • http://twitter.com/ChicoEdge Chico Edge

This bundle is a steal! I already had Ms. Splosion Man but I got this anyways for the other games. Hopefully MS makes some more bundles in the future. Hint: Games on Demand has potential for awesome bundles!

  • MilkyTee

Brilliant value. Was honestly expecting this to be 1600MSPs in typical Xbox pricing. What a deal though, if I didn’t already have three of those four, I’d be on this immediately.

Hopefully Comic Jumper gets some love and exposure thanks top this; the game is excellent – four distinct visual styles and one of the few games out there that is GENUINELY funny.

Twisted Pixel + Beard Engine FTW.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Curtis-Isabell/1036013363 Curtis Isabell

see now this is a deal i can get behind, 4 titles for $2.50 each. give us more stuff like this.

give us, say, castle crashers + castle crashers DLC + battleblock theater + a small arcade game for 1200msp I’d buy that instantly

Give us minecraft + terrarria + some other “building” game for $15/$20 bundle more stuff and sell them at great discounts.

    • Getsuga_Tensho

That probably wouldn’t work so well with MS seeing as how you’re listing games with different developers but I would also like to see things like this. Instead of a small Arcade game, you could throw in Alien Hominid and have a Behemoth bundle. A trials complete pack with both games and all dlc wouldn’t go amiss either.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Curtis-Isabell/1036013363 Curtis Isabell

other companies do it if PSN can give 3rd party titles away for free, and steam can bundle lots of different games together than MS should be able to as well.

        • Getsuga_Tensho

I don’t disagree that it would be nice but you have to consider that all of those companies do things differently and agreements have to be made for bundles to be created. MS allowing this bundle alone with every game being from the same developer and MS themselves being the publisher is a stretch already.

There’s a very high chance that Twisted Pixel were the ones that pushed for this bundle to happen in the first place. I wouldn’t go hoping for MS to pursue agreements between different developers and publishers to get bundles going any time soon.

Again, what you suggested would be nice but unrealistic at this stage unless all the games are from the same developers and publishers. Oh and Sony aren’t giving away 3rd party titles for free. It’s an agreement in place where publishers make money from PS Plus subscribers.

    • http://www.facebook.com/pete.osborne.50 Pete Osborne

As nice as that would be, your examples aren’t particularly reasonable. Battleblock is brand new and for the price it already is you want them to throw in two whole games and some DLC? Minecraft sells really well yet you think they’d include another brand new game and extras for free?

The idea has potential but those choices would just be bad business decisions. PSN gives us lots of stuff but it doesn’t hand out the big new games very often, if at all.

  • http://twitter.com/VeryCathartic ɾosɥ ɥɐɐs

I have all of these games and love them dearly, but this is a fantastic value for people who haven’t experienced Twisted Pixel’s greatness yet.

  • http://twitter.com/NAVARiN Bennijin

Let’s have a look at what these games cost.

Comic Jumper: 1200, has been 800 and 400.
Splosion Man: 800, has been 400 and was even 160 once.
Ms Splosion Man: 800, has been on sale for 400.
The Maw: 800, has been 400 and a number of promotions have given it away for free.

Even if you had gotten every game at their very cheapest this is still the lowest they have ever been and if you own one or two of them it’s still a good deal.
By the way, it’s not mentioned here but PlayXBLA says that the 800 price is a limited time offer.

Oddly none of the individual games have been permanently reduced. You really need to start drastically reducing the prices of older games, Microsoft.

    • Sigognac

Thank you for the precisions. But since it is a limited time offer, do we know when it will expire ?

      • http://twitter.com/NAVARiN Bennijin

I have asked but sadly I have had no answer on when it will end or how much it will go up to.

        • Sigognac

          Thanks again for the demarche.
It would be a bit secretive, since it would seems unusual that after being lauched as a permanent product (not a special sale), a game (even if it is a bundle) sees its price not lowered, but raised !
Let’s hope it will not be the case, for those of us who would have to wait..

  • 90180360

I bought it because it’s a good deal, but I should have tried the games first because I really don’t like them :(

  • http://www.facebook.com/PentUpAnger Ricky Toney

This is really a great deal, but I’m not sure if it is right for me. I already own Splosion Man, and The Maw. I would really like Ms. Splosion Man, but the only play Comic Jumper would get was from my 6yr old.

    Still… it’s a great deal though… hmm….

  • Thânia Santos

there should be more permanent bundles on the market place.
like some ‘other’ platform does for several years already.

  • http://twitter.com/MaryKateClark Marykate Clark

    Regular prices (individually):

    The Maw 800 MSP
    Ms Splosion Man 800 MSP

    Splosion Man 800 MSP
    Comic Jumper 1200 MSP

Or ALL of them for 800 MSP? That’s an outstanding deal.

(I already own The Maw and it’s *still* a fantastic deal.)

  • Patrick Ryan

    I own Splosion Man, but…

I can put the 800 points on my wife’s account and have her buy it. This way we do actually receive the second licence for Splosion Man instead of it just going to waste.

  • http://twitter.com/ArthritisProne zeus

Bought each on its own, but for anyone wondering… this is the best bundle you could ever ever buy. BUY IT NOW, AMAZING.

  • CyberSkull

I have 3 out of 4 of these already.

    • Does Not Equal

I recommend not buying the bundle, then.

    • http://twitter.com/apstubbe Fismoln

What do you want me to do with this info?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Alice-Lockhart/100000438939703 Alice Lockhart

    Xbox needs “Guacamelee!” D=.

  • jlh

I didn’t own any of the individual games so this was an outstanding deal for me. I hope to see more bundles on XBLA in the future.

  • The Dukenator

Lay off the sarcasm, would you kindly?

  • O Mosqueda

Is this going to be a permanent bundle? I hope so, because I won’t be able to afford it till next month. They should have released this on disc.
