yay. something else everyone gets for free after i paid $50 for a season pass that has offered little to nothing for the money i spent. freaking yay!

    • Wael Hasno

Ever wondered why it’s free? Cause for every freaking achievement there’s 1 or 2 cars that can only be obtained through DLC purchase.. So stop bitching, I can only get 3 achievements, you can get all of them.

If it’s free, it’s for me.

anyone care to share what the 2 free cars are?

  • Wael Hasno

No wonder it’s free.. I can only get 3 of the achievements without having to buy a Car Pack that costs 400 MSP. And you don’t need only one car pack. And what’s the deal with the “Fast Travel Anywhere” feature? I have to pay 5 tokens (400 MSP) to be able to fast travel anywhere in the world? Really?

more people complaining about useless achievements. Hoping they will abandon that feature with the 720 achievements/trophys ruined gaming.

    • Alex_Atkin_UK

LOL How can giving you tasks to complete (the whole purpose of a game) that you can compare with your friends (so makes single-player gaming competitive) ruin gaming?

If achievements bother you then its YOUR fault, not achievements. If you don’t like them, ignore them, nobody is forcing you to pay any attention to them at all.

      • ryder4life22187

I don’t know how many times i’ve heard someone say they won’t play X game because the achievement list is to hard or has multiplayer ach and they can’t have an incomplete game on their list. Actually yes they are forcing me to pay attention to them, as where is the option to turn off achievements like they don’t exist.

        • Alex_Atkin_UK

What would be the difference between turning them off and just ignoring them? It would still either look like you never played the game to your friends or show up as you not unlocking any of the achievements, both of those things would be annoying for any of your friends who DO use them.

People who only play single player do not ask for multiplayer to be removed from the game because “it makes the game feel incomplete if I don’t do it”. Its just a really silly way of thinking.

I agree achievements do motivate you to want to get them all, that is their point, and yes it is annoying when there are achievements you can’t get for silly reasons. I have plenty of games with online achievements that I could never get, Prey being notable as nobody ever went online on that game as the online aspect sucked. However, it didn’t stop the game from being fun.

If anything, they should split the achievements into online and offline so that you can more easily ignore all the online ones as those really are annoying especially for games where the servers are now offline. However being able to turn them off completely would be detrimental to the concept as a whole.

If that was true it wouldn’t be adopted by all game platforms available. People that can run for achievements actually make some re-playability where otherwise wouldn’t be none since games have good graphics but are not epic like in the past.

Your complain should be directed to the bad publishers giving us the ” Meh” games we have today, not about having achievements or not.

      • ryder4life22187

So other words you are saying is the only reason they played the game a second time is to get the stupid achievement and basically forced themselves to play through a second time. If you didn’t enjoy the game to want to play it again down the road later then maybe you didn’t enjoy the game in the first place. If I don’t get a great deal amount out of a game I stop playing it no point in forcing yourself through. It’s not like there’s many people out there that will go on your profile who give a flying f*** what ach or trophies you have in the first place.

this sounds fine but I traded in my forza horizon back in January. additional free DLC to increase game longevity recommended. If this becomes the norm people like me will probably stop trading games in and if people don’t trade games in used game sales are no longer a problem, funny how that works right?
