Is there any local co-op on this? or just over Live?

    • Legreffer

      Yes you can play split-screen.

      • Dustin

Nice. I will check it out.

  • Curtis Isabell

A demo? of course i’l try it.

  • Curtis Isabell

started playing, it’s not bad, only played a bit but has potential. weapons seem fun and unique, example, the warp rifle I got, If i shoot someone enough it makes a wormhole on the target, or I can shoot a bunch of people a few times, and then kill someone and it will chain react to damage/kill the people I shot. there are also perks and stuff you get from leveling up, sorta like a borderlands leveling system. if the game has decent length with the co-op it can be a decent game.

  • DarkNightRJ

Seems early for a demo, or is it really coming that soon?

    • jlh

It’s out on May 28th which for me is a really bad time for a full price game to hit. I may end up waiting on a price drop for this one even though I liked the demo simply because it’s coming at the worst possible time.

  • Bobacreek

I felt like the demo could’ve been longer other than that it was pretty cool. Like one of the comments below it reminded me a bit of borderlands….minus claptrap.

Cool game… but… my only thought about purchasing this is that it’s published by EA. Now before you jump down my throat, think back at what EA does: Microtransactions up the yazoo, online support cut after a year so you have to buy the new version to play online, online activation so you had to pay an extra ten bucks to play online if you bought it used, and EA’s wonderful network stability (drove me crazy with NCAA Football).

I liked the game, and will eventually have it. But, I will wait for it to go to $20 just to send a message to EA that they are not gods. There is a reason they were voted the worst company. Sad, but true.

    • Legreffer

While I agree about EA, Insomniac has confirmed that the game will not have an online pass or microtransactions.

I wish the Echelon mode (waves mode) has been included in the demo.

      • kingcrusher

Awesome, I really hope that is the case :-)

    • Zack Stein

Insomniac is only using EA for publishing. Insomniac is a powerful enough company that they could dictate terms – and micro-transactions were one area that Ted Price probably wasn’t keen too. So for this game you need not worry.

The demo for this is fantastic. I just had a go there and thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s made it into my wish list. I’m looking forward to giving co-op a go with a few friends.

  • Zack Stein

At this point, I feel like I’ve seen every trick the Xbox 360 has to offer. I tried the demo (I’m a big Insomniac fan). It just seemed like your typical squad-based third-person-shooter with some gimmicks. I think I’ll have to see more to really decide if I’m going to play this. Demo didn’t sell me.

    • Chris Louis Folmsbee

demo was so damn weak. Felt like it could have been a game from 2006/07..

      • Zack Stein

Glad I wasn’t alone in that feeling.

  • Silent Killer01

Does PSN have this demo? and is it free to all?
(considering it’s for promotional purposes) just wondering

  • Chris Louis Folmsbee

Two games better than this: Binary Domain for squad based and Vanquish (horrible story, but amazing gameplay). Really let down by the Fuse demo.
