I really want this game! Heard amazing things about co op but I want to try it first with the trial. Any idea on when the trial will be up?

  • Reiner Harth

i was able to download the rial already two weeks ago before it got pulled, now bought it but did not get an update at all, should i delete the game and completely redownload? (i heared it was pulled because of multiplayer issues and therefor expected an update or so)??

  • Getsuga_Tensho

Hoping the trial will be up soon. I’m wanting to try this.

  • Clattus

This one looks interesting, any idea if it’ll have matchmaking?

  • HEMI M

    No Demo !

    • Major Nelson

Yea, not sure where that is. Let me find out

  • tanithfirst

What gives!? If I try to download the trial I get a message about the offer not being available in my region (UK)!?!?! But naturally it will let me click on the full game link if I wanted to buy it…

  • Eonel

The game looks very interesting, hope to get it soon.

  • Rui Carriço

Hi Major, in Portugal we have only full game too, no Demo :-(

  • Rain Bond

    Any News with the demo?

  • TenChinGan

PC version is a blast of fun… you should get this on any console. My Short Review: The child of HITMAN after doin Ms Pacman.

  • Aidan

Hey Major, any news on the demo? Even a “we’re still looking into it” would do. I’m dying over here.

    • Major Nelson

Been in meetings all day – trying to find out now.

      • Aidan

It’s cool. If I was getting a behind the scenes peak at Star Trek (never mind being the spokesman of a major game console) I’d be a little distracted too. I assume you’d prefer the demo was available now as well anyway.

        • Chris Grub

          What a suckup.

          • Aidan

Maybe he’ll invite me to the Star Trek premiere or get me a free copy of Monaco for being “so cool”

          • Chris Grub

That’s a good spirit; hey, at least you’re trying!

  • Hugoku

@MajorNelson:disqus Demo? Well, at least I know it’s not up. I thought it was just in my region.

  • Burnt Offering

1200MSP with no demo is a hard sell. I can’t imagine Pocketwatch Games and Majesco Entertainment are loving XBLA right now.

  • CyberSkull

    Where is the demo?

  • Åke

Strange… The demo for Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was released quite late as well… I contacted the XboxSupport via twitter, I’m curious what they say.

  • Jason Oliver

I’m very interested in this but it’s so different I have to try a demo before taking ze plunge

  • HatefulBuddhist

Still no demo. What’s going on? Been waiting to check this out for a while now.

  • Rain Bond

Hey Major any news on the Trial? Are we looking at early tomorrow or tomorrow afternoon or some point tonight?

    • skullivan

      Demo is up now.

      • Rain Bond

        Alright thank you! :D

  • Major Nelson

    The trial is now available

    • EvanTheGamer

YEAH! Thanks for the heads up, Major!

    • CyberSkull

      What was up with that?

  • Wikus Radyn

Is there a way to find out if it will come out in a specific region?

I live In South Africa and this is the only thing I’ve been looking forward to recently and it’s not here :(

  • Matt S.

The demo is very fun, but I will wait for the inevitable price drop of 33% before I make this a purchase. $15 is way too expensive for my tastes on this game. Whoever makes the pricing decisions, whether it be Microsoft or the developers themselves, needs to understand that a lower price point doesn’t necessarily mean lower quality product, but that a lower price point means that more people are likely to make a purchase, especially when a game such as Monaco comes along that has great COOP opportunities. Then word will spread faster due to more people having made that jump to purchase a $10 game rather than commit to a $15 game. I know it seems trivial, but for budget-conscious people such as myself, it can make a world of difference.

Same here… there’s been many 1200 msp games lately that also last long (Terraria, battleblog, etc.) so people buying one or more of them have content enough or have spent enough msp lately to go looking for some more.

There’s a marketing concept laveled as “impulse buy” and 1200 msp won’t trigger anyone’s. I’d spend my rewads points on this if it was cheaper, hell, I’d even have purchased it at this price if it just came out earlier. But other great games did. So I’ll hold my purchase till something here rings my bell.

Developer decision to price at 1200MSP (I base this solely on the fact that it released for $15 on Steam).
