A shot for shot remake of the opening scene from Casino Royale done entirely in Lego.

Keep an eye out for the “water” in the bathroom scene.

…interesting. I’ve allways loved lego, way before the games and such but, and may I be wrong here, I think people do visit this blog for videogaming / official source of info from microsoft, not just internet stuff… if so, next post might be about kittens, adventure time or -insert meme here-

Q: What can I expect on this blog?
A: I run this blog as part of my passion for community. I run this blog on my own time, and with my own money. It’s important to note that what I say on this blog (including any podcasts) is my personal opinion and is not read or approved by anyone before it is posted. Even though I work for Microsoft, not everything accurately reflects the views of my employer, my management, my co-workers, Microsoft partners or affiliates. I do my best to ensure that everything I post is accurate, but the postings on this site are provided “AS IS” with no warranties, and confers no rights.

wow, quoting the FAQ, so insightful… for your first comment. Ever. With this Id.

I guess that made you feel smart.

I know what this blog is, but that doesn’t change the fact it’s the only source on the net about microsoft marketplace info in advance and oh, surprise… who runs it? a Microsoft employee! Nothing negative here, even with that non gaming post. I’m fine with that. But then what’s to expect, culinary recipes here ? Do you really think people come here for a good read ? affinity with Mr. Hryb ? I’d say those would make a small percentage of visits…

Oh and despite of that, this might be not his work yet he isn’t leaking anything either… this stuff is handed or approved by microsoft. Otherwise he would’ve been fired already. Also, I’ve had several jobs where, guess what, stuff wasn’t on my contract or wasn’t my duty yet I had to do on regular basis.

MS Community manager ? no. MS employee ? yes. So whatever is good for the company is good for him. Don’t misunderstand me here I’m also fine with that.

Still, I’d say sorry beforehand just in case I offended anyone saying as I was just expressing an opinion wich also I think reflects a reality here. Yours might be too yet you did in a manner that at first glance looked like a STFU reply (surprisingly coming from a 1st poster or maybe someone using another id.)

Bottom line: it’s not about What CAN people expect from this blog BUT what people DO actually expect from it. And people do based on that given blogger’s BEHAVIOR not by his words. You can say you luv puppies but If I’ve been watching you choking one a day for the last 3 years I might think you minght not like puppies, despite what you say.

Hope every bloke arround could get it nowt. I can’t see how people are SO EAGER to pick on other’s words as if they were in need to attacking eachother even if it’s in a subtle way. Also, trying to make people look dumber than you (minght not be the case) won’t make you smarter. Period.

well, i’m a 1st time poster just because i don’t spew gibberish on every thread posted.
My reply is not to be taken as STFU but as a RTFM reply. moving on….

You could have spent much less time typing all that out and simply said:

          “Oh, right. Sorry for overreacting.”

You should check out “CSI: Legoland” on YouTube. Best stop animation with Legos ever!

MS made a mistake not trying to get Lego City Undercover ported to the Xbox.

Wow, you people really don’t have a clue about business do you?

The game is published by Nintento, so think MS can come along an demand it for the Xbox? Do you even understand exclusivity deals? Do you expect Sony to demand Halo for the PS?

Seriously, if you like games learn a tiny bit about how the business works. Or for that matter, how the world works. It’s the same in all industries.

  • Blake Facey

    You are correct. My bad.
