Again, Gold only, why it doesn’t say it in the blog entry?

    • Tyler Beale

Because everyone has gold (even though that’s not true).

      • Nick Peck

Everyone should, all of $40 a year is not much. Make one less bad game purchase a year and you will still have $20 left over!

I still think they should have released it in feb on the WIi U, going up against Splinter Cell, Batman and GTA V, then to have next gen coming out in another month (after the game launches), this poor game will get squashed yet again.

        • Tyler Beale

          Um…It’s $60/yr, and for some, it IS much. 60 a game, 60 a year, 60 a controller….Jesus.

          • roozbeh, again

if you cant find discounts on those you really might want to work out on your shopping

          • Liquidfx Xboxdude

yeah, like trying at all. for some reason, the psn and xbox live memberships are on sale all the time. every week i get an email showing sales of the services. i have 2 years on both systems for about $130: 2 years of Live for $60 at $30 a year (best buy) and 2 years of PSN for $70 at $35 a year (best buy, again). I am not sure how those systems work for others but i live in the US so it may not work that way other places but i don’t know and, no offense, don’t care. lol i have too much to worry about as it is.

          • roozbeh, again

Dude I live In iran. If I can find one here then the rest of the world can find one easily.

        • O Mosqueda

I agree that it is not much and it’s quite useful and of course a blast when playing online (when your game has players), and I’ve spent more in not-so-good games and some crappy games just to fill in the blanks of my collections, but not every owner can afford it, some are kids whose parents won’t give pay them the membership for any reason you can imagine, from not having money to pay other more important bills to avoid kids from hearing bad language from other players online. And like that, there’s a million reasons for which an XBOX 360 owner can’t have a Gold membership at any given time.
If all people could pay for Gold and more important, be always online, no one would have complained after the E3 about the XBO.
They used to say when something was available for Gold only and encouraged you to join.

      • GmailIsDown

i have several years of PS+ and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. Paid $40 a year for PS+ and $35 a year for Xbox Live Gold.

        • Liquidfx Xboxdude

same here. just look for the deals people because they are there all the time.

    • XboxReason

It looks like that you can not pay gold…

    • ungeheier

Aren’t MOST (if not all) Demos Gold only? Why are you surprised?

      • O Mosqueda

Only the new ones, after a while the become free for all users.
It doesn’t surprise me, I know most NEW demos are Gold-only, but they used to add a little disclaimer about that every time a demo was released.

        • ungeheier

          Ah, ok. Carry on. ;)

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

how in the world do you not have gold by now? i got 2 years for $60 in January. just saying.

      • O Mosqueda

An American middle-class income is not possible in most part of the world, just saying.

  • http://www.Bonxy.info/ Sam Ward

Will the full game be co-op or just certain parts ? I need a good co-op game!

    • Bennijin

Furthermore will it be ONLINE co-op this time? Origins was missing it and that should not be happening in this day and age.

      • http://www.Bonxy.info/ Sam Ward

Origin was bad that only player 1 would only unlock the achievements even if 2 players did the mission!

        • roozbeh, again

the simpsons game was the same as well

          • Michael Burden

            As were the Skylanders games.

        • ElektroDragon

You have the PS3 to thank for that and lazy developers. Hopefully next gen this will never happen again. Kills my wife’s desire to play with me.

  • XboxReason

it’s off-topic but how will the xbox guide button works on the xbox one controller?

    • Death Dealer

Send you to the full dashboard instead of the one with the reduced functionality on the Xbox 360.

    • GmailIsDown

why do we have so many off-topic topics here

  • ElektroDragon

Missing all the cool Wii U only features and gameplay, of course.

    • O Mosqueda

Don’t worry, after Christmas you’ll find both the U and the version of the game in discount bins. The U is Nintendo’s Saturn, could it become the next Virtual Boy?

      • GmailIsDown

ever since i played the demo of this game on Wii U i have been itching to play this game.

      • dools

The Next Virtual Boy?No.Virtual Boy only managed lifetime sales of around 770,000.Wii U might not be doing great but it’s already sold around 5 times more than the VB.

        • O Mosqueda

I didn’t mean by sales, I meant by success, the VB sold a lot, I do know that, but all support was suddenly dropped before its second year started…. and most support for the W i i U has been dropped and its just 3 months before its first anniversary. Is it really that crazy to think of the W U as the next VB in terms of failure?

    • GmailIsDown

only PS Vita and Wii U have the touch screen features. too bad i won’t be able to control Murphy and play the Murphy stages via smartglass.

      • O Mosqueda

Does that smartglass thing really work? I tried it in an Android phone and it was a pain.

  • roozbeh, again

    off topic.
do you guys think the kinect will be unbundled?
(note: i said think not want)

    • O Mosqueda

I think probably in the future, if the demand for Kinect games goes too low. They first have to make sure that all the users have the device to get the games, which is one of the major reasons for the lack of games for Kinect (of course there’s also lack of good ideas, implementation, interest by gamers; one problem at a time, I guess).

    • BostonSup

One way or another the Xbox One will be forced to drop it’s price and match it with the PS4. The only two options for Microsoft will be to either drop the Kinect from bundles, or sell the system at a loss and make up for it with it’s game licensing and XBL memberships.

Saying that the Kinect isn’t needed shows that they are leaning into the direction of removing it from the bundles. However, I think it will be after the holiday season that you will see the price decline and the removal of the Kinect.

If $500 seems a bit much, I would wait to buy the Xbox One. A price drop of at least $100 within the year is inevitable. By then the launch games will be cheaper and you will have $100 to spend on games.

      • O Mosqueda

All prices drop sooner or later, some may drop like a rock in a pond. It’s always a risky investment to pay for release prices, but I guess for some people the thrill of being the first of the neighborhood or your acquaintances to have it is worth it.

    • GmailIsDown

i think it will. and i’m not against Kinect at all.

    • Death Dealer

I don’t know, I hope not and rather see them cutting the price a little.
But to tell you the truth, because of the limited availability at launch, MS might as well have to, to regain significant market share on the PS4.

      • roozbeh, again

i agree with that. its pretty much the only way to get its market share back. other then getting a wicked exclusive

  • Seneika

Hey, I’m searching for a platformer similar to Super Mario for the Xbox 360. I mean, with “happy and colorful” visuals and “family friendly” tone. Rayman seems nice but I thought the visuals a bit polluted. Could someone point me one? Thanks.

    • dools

To be honest the 360 doesn’t have a great selection of happy and colourful platformers and Rayman is probably one of the best but you could try Giana Sisters:Twisted Dreams on XBLA.(Interesting side note:The Great Giana Sisters was first released in 1987 and was such a blatant rip-off of Mario that Nintendo threatened legal action unless they stopped selling it)

I’d also highly recommend Trine 2.It’s more of a puzzle platformer than a Mario style but it’s one of the best looking and most colourful games on 360 in my opinion

      • Seneika

I’m the author of the question above. Thanks.

  • Ron_Swanson

    the demo rocks!
