Watch the Halo 4 Global Championship this Sunday

The Halo 4 Global Championship takes place live from PAX at Benaroya Hall in Seattle and on Xbox LIVE this Sunday at 4PM PDT. This is an incredibly exciting event for the team, as we showcase eSports and Halo 4 with a very ambitious production both for the fans onsite and through our Xbox LIVE interactive broadcast.

In addition to the tournament itself, we’ll also have exclusive Xbox One content debuting during the show as well as music performances that celebrate the spirit of PAX in a special way. Personally, there’s one performer I can’t wait to see the audience embrace. It’s going to be fun.

The Xbox LIVE audience will also have a chance to choose the content of the show, voting live on the console for which new Xbox One trailers they want to see first.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention that the audience on Xbox LIVE as well as those at the venue will have a chance to win an Xbox One at launch! Follow @HaloWaypoint on Twitter for details. They’ll announce the tweetstakes ahead of the show.

If you’d like to attend the event in person, you’ve got a couple options. First, PAX attendees get first crack at seats with the doors opening at 3:00PM. If there are any seats available after the PAX attendees are seated, the public will be allowed entry free of charge!

PAX is the ultimate celebration of gaming, and we hope we’ll do the great spirit of PAX community justice with the Halo 4 Global Championship show. I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

    Nobody cares about failo 4.

    • Massamo

not anything wrong with halo 4

      • DarnedNut

        Agreed, Its really fun =)

        • Swat

Halo 4 is more than likely your first Halo game otherwise, you wouldn’t be saying that.

          • DarnedNut

Nope I’ve been playing halo since halo CE =), Its not my fault you’re ego pulls you away from great games.

  • roozbeh, again

make this the free game please

    • Swat

Fúck no. Halo 3 should be free. Not that piece of $hit.

      • Massamo

you really need to chill out not anything wrong with halo 4

        • Swat

You’re an idiot/blind fan boy if you think there’s nothing with Halo 4.

          • Massamo

wow lol its not same as it was but its still good game

          • Swat

            The 30k population says otherwise.

          • Massamo

guess people just hate change what problem is right now hmm call of duty samething over and over

          • Swat

No. People hate Halo 4 because:

            1. It was released unfinished and
            2. It’s pretty much CoD in space. People wanted to play HALO no a CoD ripoff.

          • Massamo

i have played cod and halo 4 i can’t see where its even close

          • Swat

            Again, you’re blind.

            A few examples:

            Halo 4 – Dominion
            COD: Domination

            Halo 4 – Ordnance
            COD: Kill streaks

          • Massamo

really thats all cod copy them from other games

          • Swat

Before you continue to reply to me, add punctuation to your sentences so I can read them.

          • Massamo

i have no need to you can read them fine

          • Adam Shields

Your arrogance blinds only you. Dislike Halo 4 all you will but you are attempting to add personal perspective as fact. Dominion and Domination are not identical, nor should they be. They are similar, yes, but this would be like making the analogy that “Battlefield” plays like “CoD.” The devil is in the details. It’s understandable if you do not enjoy playing Halo 4. There are some preferences I am not a fan of, some scoring that is in question, but broken? “CoD in space?” Your near anti-fanboyism doesn’t add to your argument. I am going to ask if you PREFER CoD over Halo 4 and WHY? Is it the mechanical feels? The fast paced action? Each person has their own personal preference as well as timing they prefer. The numbers of CoD players versus Halo 4 have no bearing on this. I might remind you some of the greatest games were often missed by the majority of gamers. None of those numbers affect in any observable way the amount of enjoyment their audiences take out of those experiences. Nor should they. I will also add it’s possible to emulate someone else’s concepts and ideas in a better way than those that came before it. If it didn’t, we’d still be playing “Adventure” on Atari 2600. -Adam

    • Swat

Fúck no. I’d rather have them make a game that isn’t a fúcking joke free.

  • SirMegalon

Another futile attempt to buoy H4′s dwindling population.

Tons of cash has been spent on tournaments and marketing for this hopelessly flawed game. Has it been worth it, 343?

  • Swat

Nobody (apart from retards) cares about that piece of $hit.

  • roozbeh, again

knee jerk reactions arent good in the long term. cool it down
