Is this coming to Xbox 360? It looks really good but i’m having to much fun with my old style console :)

    • mcmax3000

Yes, it’s coming to 360 next year.

      • Karl Standen

Sweet Thanks. I’m assuming if I buy it for Xbox One for when i get one I wont get it free when it releases for 360 crossbuy style?

        • mcmax3000

I doubt it, though they do seem to have a setup that allows them to do stuff like that, because they’re offering Halo: Spartan Assault for $4.99 to anyone who bought it on Windows 8, or Windows Phone when it comes to XB1 next week, so it’s clearly something they can do.

      • wwefnfurlife

where’d you see it’s not till next year? :(

        • mcmax3000

Articles covering the announcement that it would launch today. I’d post links, but they get comments auto flagged for moderation.

          • wwefnfurlife

Just looked on IGN and it’s got the 360 version slated for Q32013 so hopefully sometime soon lol. Can’t afford an XB1 right now.

          • mcmax3000

That was probably an old article, because Q3 2013 was July – September, so if it was accurate, you would’ve been playing it months ago.

          • Karl Standen

I don’t want an Xbox One right now I will watch the suicidal early beta testers/adopters with more money than sense iron out this very buggy console and then buy it when Titanfall is out ;)

          • wwefnfurlife

You and me both. For financial reasons I can’t afford one anyway. Not to mention it’s always risky buying launch consoles. Gonna wait probably a year or so for a price drop.

          • Mitchell Hall

Hey just to let you know, I have the Xbox One since day one and the last thing that it is, is buggy. Is it missing a lot of features that should be there? Sure. But the functionality is pretty amazing. Voice commands are getting better and better. When I originally bought it, voice commands worked around 85% of the time. Now that I’ve had it for a month I can honestly say it works 100% of the time for me. Whether it be to check achievements, switch to tv, go home, turn the console and TV on at the same time, play a game, open an app, pause or play a movie I’m watching etc etc. It honestly is so much faster and better than a controller for a lot of these things and I was totally skeptical about it before owning it. It makes me so excited for future updates to the operating system. Anyway I guess my point is I am an early adopter Of The Console But It Doesn’t Mean I have no sense. I resent the implications.

httpx://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MP1a-KHZnLw. One of numerous I could post lol. Thought it was funny to :) Video has swear words so if your faint of heart don’t watch

          • Mitchell Hall

Don’t really understand how a game has anything to do with what I just said, but okay. And as for hand gestures I can’t really speak on them because I haven’t used them once. I don’t see the point in them as voice commands will do everything.

          • Nick Peck

Exactly, voice trumps gestures any day of the week. It’s darn near instant and works very good once you learn how to speak to it correctly (though it’s pretty good on picking up how you normally talk too).

I really haven’t had any issues with the system other than getting a dud Kinect sensor, but it was replaced in about 4 days so I won’t complain at all. I too can’t wait for future updates as MS has always been really good and pretty quick to add and fix things (the 360′s UI update every year or so, they did a great job of keep it new and fresh).

          • Mitchell Hall

Yup for sure! Sucks you got a broken kinect but glad to hear they were so quick to replace it. But yeah I totally agree, the things Microsoft did with the 360s OS over the years is nothing short of amazing. I fully expect them to do all that and more this time around. I really don’t understand the silly xbox one bashing. It’s truly an amazing machine. I mean there’s areas they need to work on for sure, like the party app for example as well as achievements, I feel they need a better interface for comparing and an easier way to check them on the fly during games. But I mean those are all things they will be addressing in the updates to follow. I’m more than happy with my Xbox One purchase and I haven’t put it down since!

          • Nick Peck

Agreed. Most people tend to forget that all of the best abilities on the 360 were added in over the years, they weren’t there on day one. I know MS will continually add to and fix things with the system and honestly, I’m not worried about that at all.

I agree, they need to do a little tightening up with the things you mentioned (like quicker ways to compare stuff), but I’m sure they will do that at some point. The only things I really want (like now) is the DD 5.1 over optical and the external HD support (and letting us download our movie / tv show collection). But again, it will be here soon :D

I love the system and can’t stop playing it. I just need to finish AC4 so I can start on a few other games lol. I try not to play to many at once as I end up getting bored to fast that way, though I get some BF4 MP in here and there as well (now that it works).

          • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

I tend to agree with you. I also have one since day one and it never ever froze and I use it a lot. Of course, as you said, several features are lacking and hopefully MS will address it soon, but it´s not a buggy system. It´s incomplete though.

          • Mitchell Hall

Yeah for sure. I literally have my Xbox One on whenever my tv is on, so it’s on quite a bit every day. If I want to watch TV when I come in my theatre room I just say xbox on and it turns on everything. Cable box , tv and xbox. Then I switch between what I’m going to use accordingly. It’s great. Yeah, the last thing the xbox one is, is buggy. I’m very much looking forward to updates!

          • MobileVortex

LoL what? if you get it when titanfall is out, your going to pay the same amount of money, and still have the same “buggy” OS. Dumb comment is dumb.

          • Karl Standen

Well fingers crossed it’s cheaper and MS have fixed a lot of it’s issues out by then but with their track record probably not so I agree with you. Ill rephrase my comment and say I will get it when its cheaper and less buggy.

          • MobileVortex

To expect a price drop before March 2015 would be foolish IMHO. at that point Titanfall will be a year old. I would expect a less “buggy” OS. Tho i see nothing buggy about it right now.

          • Karl Standen

If they release Titanfall on 360 I wont even need a Xbox One fingers crossed

  • Allan

Xbox One Store in Brazil is just being a shame as usual.

    • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

well, one of the features of XB1 is that you can change the region of your console to US (for example) and get instant access to the store. You can then download the game if you want. You´ll need a international credcard though. This feature, in my opinion is one of the best things MS did on XB1 and strangely enough it is not commented around. Of course some content is restrict to US (and to be honest is not even MS fault), but games, at least for now I didn´t have any problem downloading them from US store…

      • evilfangs .

Can’t I just buy a pre-paid card in my English pounds to put in my Microsoft wallet and then change to US store and use my Microsoft wallet? If the region of my console changes to US I wouldn’t see why my wallet would stay £?

        • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

I have U$5 in MS wallet, but I only can use this money if I´m in the US store, if I change to my region then I´m not able to use my wallet, the option to use it even appears. I don´t know if this is a limitation of my region though. I think it is pretty much as it works on nokia phones.

          • evilfangs .

So I would need to go on US Amazon site and get America pre-paid points then add them to my Microsoft account while my console region is set up America?

          • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

I guess so! I think it would work just fine.

      • Allan

I didn’t knew that, thanks for the tip Ivan

        • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

          glad I could help!

  • Liquidfx Xboxdude

anyone played it yet? at least its not $20. no demo? damn.

  • Desmond Shepherd

I’m surprised it’s only $15. Why so cheap? Is it a short game?

    • ElektroDragon

      Peggle 2 was $12.

  • IvanCD(MaidenLOKO)

A demo would be appreciated. Judging by the game clips it seems fun!

    • Death Dealer

      It definitely is!

  • Mitchell Hall

I’m not a big fan of platformers but this game actually looks pretty fun. Think I’ll start downloading it now! Wish there was a demo to try.

  • https://live.xbox.com/MyXbox/Profile?gamertag=DarkGin87 Lee Rayson (DarkGin87)

This looks interesting and I will pick this up before the new year as with a few others,
Major is the a reason why such games don’t get a demo ?
Is it because such games don’t fall into a XBLA title anymore ?
Can we expect this with all XBLDR ?
    (Xbox Live digital release)
If there is no claim to the name then I claim it to be that XD

  • Gazza!!!

Only got to world 2 but I’m enjoying it so far. Some nice little logic puzzles but the jumping can be a little off. Just takes some getting used to.

  • avi

Been playing the game all morning on my friend’s x1.
Game is pretty brilliant. Visuals are pixar-like, tons of action and set-pieces, and the story is pretty sweet to see unfold.

Honestly, so far, I’d give it a great 4.5/5.

  • Reiner Harth

why isn’t the buy button available on the German Store? I can see the Game but the buy button is missing on the xbox one store as well as xbox.com ?!?

  • evilfangs .

Guess I got to wait a couple of months / years for price drop / sale. No way I’m paying £11.99 for a arcade game specially with no demo available.

    • evilfangs .

Got so bored with no games to play on my Xbox one and thought well it’s a small 20-30 team of developers so what’s £12, and even though there wasn’t a demo I decided to buy it and it’s so fun. Definitely worth £11.99 but I’d still like demos in the future as this buy was more then likely a one off.

  • ElektroDragon

    NO DEMO NO SALE, sorry.

  • Dalibor Kollár

    For the curious amongst us:

    US: $14.99 = 10.96€ = 9.18 £
    France: 14.99€ = $20.5 = 12.55 £
    UK: £11.99 =$19.58 =14.32€

For 11€ it would be a no-brainer. But MS is not even trying to make this right. Or is it?

    • Jan Václavík

Whats that? You dont like paying VAT?

      • Dalibor Kollár

You’re living in the country where VAT is 40%?

      • Bennijin

It’s not VAT, the prices have changed but VAT has not.

  • scot atkin

In the future when there are games like destiny and Titan fall available. I don’t think I will be buying these types of games with out demos. Also please bring back notification of friends coming on. It’s easy to text people to ask if they are online.

    • ElektroDragon

They should only bring back friend notification if its optional and if it doesn’t use the same sound and banner as achievements. It’s bad enough the “Game clip recorded” pops up automatically in many games around the same time you’d expect a cheevo, and yet for some reason uses the achievement notification style and sound instead of a different one (like the rectangular white “game ready to play” one). As for demos, absolutely agree.

  • John Smith

I wouldn’t buy anything digital anymore…esp. Xbox One, it won’t be able to be used on future gaming consoles & will be junk when the One’s junk anyway. Oh, wait it already is due to not having XBLA backwards compatibility.
