  • Tyler J

This game looks really promising. I just hope it removes the salty taste in my mouth that was colonial marines. I beat the whole thing pre patch too…. :'(

    • NerdRage

the salty taste in your mouth could be something else

  • Gazza!!!

I to belong to the pre patch 100% completion of Aliens: CM but oddly enjoyed it. If this turns out to actually be good i fear the repercussions on my gaming mind.

    • Tyler J

It was kind of interesting to see what all would break during my playthrough. My favorite has to be when level with the giant turbine suddenly splits in half breaking the level into two pieces and suddenly slamming them together causing you to die in a giant spin cycle of textures and objects. This happened not once but twice for me. The stealth level had no enemies in it for the entire way through (lucky for me) and aliens would fly straight up into the air as you are fighting them outside as well.

      • Gazza!!!

The one glitch i remember was falling through the scenery and it never ending. I left it for 30 minutes just to see how long it would go on for before giving up.

  • evilfangs .

Wait for review, wait for real game-play footage, wait for price drop then buy. Not getting a** raped again by Sega and the Alien name.

  • Dylan

SEGA doesn’t know what they’re doing. They cancelled Obsidian’s Aliens RPG in favor of Colonial Marines. What a garbage game with shady business practices.

That Colonial Marines E3 demo was pure lies…guess I’ll have to wait till this comes out to know whether they’re lying again or not.

  • Duncan

At 1m08s listen to “We get to shut the book, Ripley”. Hopefully the game is better than the voiceover.

    • Daniel Bourke

What’s the issue with the voiceover?

  • Ryan

I wish Sega would sell their rights to the Alien franchise. They’ve failed enough times at making a good Alien game. Let a company with talent give Alien fans what we’ve been waiting for.

    • E.Nich

Last game wasn’t SEGA’s fault. Gearbox spent the money SEGA gave them for the game on their own project (Borderlands 2).

      • HGamer

That also showed that SEGA is not good at monitoring their outsourced project. That explains why most Alien games suck……….

        • https://live.xbox.com/MyXbox/Profile?gamertag=DarkGin87 Lee Rayson (DarkGin87)

We complain when a publisher is too envolved in a game it ruins it EA – Dice = BF4 activision -all devs = the same game shot out year after year with not much difference.
IMO Sega trusted gearbox too much it likely 2k pressure them to finish there games first which why Aliens took so long to come out

      • Michael Burden

No, they spent that money hiring a less talented studio to do the work they should have done themselves. They made enough off the first Borderlands to fund the sequel, they just didn’t have enough people to work on both and used their resources to work on the title that would be more profitable for them (Borderlands 2).

  • Nexures

looks awesome..but thats the problem. these days it seems like devs are putting more work into trailers, and a “pre-order” button which appears at the end of the trailer, instead of an actual game (learned the hard way from ubisoft,ea and activision)

Another SEGA Alien game? No thanks!
p.s it’s also going to be on the PC, ps3 and ps4….. Not that it will matter lol……….

  • KrisXX

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. YAWN.

  • DatDude Monie

    Looks great!

  • Beano

    Too damn scary for me

  • Sanpei

It seems like a good alien game..Finally, that series deserve that….I hope we will see a good LOTR game also :D

    • Dylan

The Return of the King game was actually quite good at the time. Hopefully the new open world RPG “Shadow of Mordor” by Monolith (FEAR, Condemned) is good.

  • Gazza!!!

“The trailer footage shown uses the in-game engine, and represents a work in progress.” Well at least they are honest about it.

  • Sanpei

This is like Amnesia or Outlast with Alien in it..I wont complain that..

  • Liquidfx Xboxdude

i will def play this. i kind of liked the last aliens game. colonial marines i think. yeah it was garbage but had fun co-op.

  • roozbeh, again

Damn that looks great, but not gonna fall for it again. Sega have to prove it’s great.

    • Nick Peck

I feel exactly the same, but luckily I was able to refuse delivery of the last game haha.

    • https://live.xbox.com/MyXbox/Profile?gamertag=DarkGin87 Lee Rayson (DarkGin87)

I don’t blame Sega for the last one I blame gearbox, creative Assembly have done some good games like Viking

      • Kieran

Creative Assembly, made Medieval 2 Total war, and Rome Total war and PC gamers still regard those games as been the best RTS games ever made for PC.

This is entirely new genre for Creative assembly, but the studio has pedigree to pull it off, its a wait and see on this one.

        Sega is just the publisher.

        • jam201984 .

yes but dont forget this is not an RTS, and colonial marines was utter garbage

      • roozbeh, again

It was Sega’s choice to let Gearbox do it, and all of their outsourced funds got used on Borderlands 2.

I blame Sega for letting that happen.

        • Michael Burden

If you are going to bash Gearbox over A:CM, at least get your facts right. They did screw up, but it was by not actually doing the work on the game itself and outsourcing its development to a less talented studio. They did not use those funds for Borderlands 2, but they did allocate their resources towards the game instead of Aliens: CM which they were contracted to do first (hence the need to outsource the single player portion of the game). The quality of the game was not Gearboxes fault, but the reason behind the low quality (ie outsourcing to another studio) is clearly their fault as a bad business decision.

  • Danny Hogan

oh god no! Looks good but i am still getting over the whole colonial marines “thing” that i spent alot of money on and it turned out to be utter ****

If this game is going to be good then ill buy but am gonna wait for the reviews first !

  • Toni Turunen

    Bioshock 1 & 2 are 5€ right now

    • Does Not Equal

  • StudioMultimédia Gon’Interacti

brillant ! the mood and atmosphere on the trailer is spot on !

  • Nathanzz

Imagine being alone, in the dark, hunted by an evil alien resident, surrounded by nothing but dead space. It’s almost like the formula for a decent Alien game was already there, plain to see for anybody who’s actually watched the movie.

  • deadbox102

Giving the history of the games produced for Aliens so far, I’m hoping to finally get a good one.
