Arcade, Marketplace, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Games On Demand By Jeff Rubenstein

  • Rick

I want Castle Crashers! Alien Hominid! and Crazy Taxi!!! Please :P

  • Matthew Swiss

A couple of games I would have gotten if I didn’t already get them at the same price on previous sales, Dark Souls and Orange Box. Make tomorrow a good one for me k?

  • Paris Vaunter

This sale is great, truly great and I’m grateful for it, but I’ve noticed there’s a bunch of brilliant original Xbox games available on Xbox Live like Jade Empire, Indigo Prophecy and Psychonauts that are never on sale. I think an original Xbox game sale would be pretty awesome especially if they were all 2 dollars like a Steam sale.

  • Steven Heuer

Still hoping for telltale’s jurassic park. Telltale games are on sale all the time, but I haven’t seen that one.

  • Killersloth

Resonance of Fate or Binary Domain for the last day please!

  • MrUgly

Dear Microsoft for the last day i want to see on sale:

    - Overlord 1 & 2 (3-5 e)
    - Lego Star Wars the complete saga (5 e)

    *e = euros

    • Guest

      Overlord 1 & 2 ??? Dragon Age ??? Risen ??? Sharlock Holmes???
This is surely not good taste of gaming

      • MrUgly

Lol i have lots of games and i want those too, Whats the problem??
I love curvy girls with big tits too, is it ok??

    • http://www.kevin-fell.co.uk/ Kevin Fell

That’s a very unique taste in games you have there!!!

      • MrUgly

        gg thanks!!

    • didyabringyagrogalong

Sherlock Holmes would be good to pick up if they had it cheap in the sale. Not the best game around but it passes the time while waiting for other games to be released.

  • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

I still want Resident Evil 4, Binary Domain, or Sonic Racing Transformed!
Yeah I want Sonic Racing Transformed, wanna fight about it?

    • Sknots

Actually i would like sonic Racing to b on sale too feel like havin some old school fun

  • マリオ

I don’t even know what I want to see for the last day.

  • bbhbjhbj

hey guys, toy soldiers cold war is 100% off tomorrow for the end of the sale, they’re pretty much giving it away.

    • Does Not Equal

You mean the free Game With Gold for this half of the month?

      • bbhbjhbj

yep, I know it is for the games with gold

        • AC130

Wait 4 more days and you can get something else :)

    • jordan.

      well played.

  • Mike Robb

    Metal gear 2-3

  • David Brennan

How about a Sports Game like NFL :D

    • Hates bad writers.

Yeah because those are good. Oh wait, they aren’t, and never have been. Go pick up NFL 06, you tasteless buffoon, it’s the same game you’ve been playing for 8 years.

      • David Brennan

and Call of Duty isn’t ?

        • ★☆ERIK☆★

It changes some what each year. EA games all they do is change the roster

          • David Brennan

well i do not disagree :) but since i do not own a NFL game, it would be nice to have one. Since i like playing games on xbox i can’t get on PC

          • Hates bad writers.

They’re still bad games. The mere fact that I can pick up any Call of Duty and immediately know what gun is overpowered, and proceed to skull bash the enemy team goes to show how bad they’re designed.

        • Sknots

Hey, call of duty has a dog now you know.

          • ★☆ERIK☆★

            Lol

      • Paris Vaunter

Whoa ease up on the hate Hates bad writers. You shouldn’t go around calling people tasteless buffoons just because they like a game you don’t. Also you have no idea what this dude is playing, besides Madden he could be playing Catherine or The Witcher 2 for all you know.

        • Hates bad writers.

I will call them tasteless because they are. It’s a joke of a game, with bad mechanics, and adds literally no improvement to the gameplay with each and every addition to the franchise on a yearly basis. It’s the same game every year. Call of duty can’t get away with a copy/paste job that identical.

          • David Brennan

thank god taste is relative to the person, i for one hate all Saints Row games. But i would not tell people the game sucks. Because it depends on the persons interests.

          • MrUgly

            How old are you kid??

          • smash

Just because you don’t like/understand/appreciate a sport or sports in general doesn’t mean that you can simply write of an entire genre of gaming. Grow up homie, you sound ignorant. This lack of gameplay or bad mechanics you are referring to reflect your lack of familiarity with the sport itself. the point of sports games is not to show a developers interpretation of a long standing rituals inherent to sports but to provide gamers a canvass to display their own interpretations or strategies and simulate the decisions made in the field of play. Not everyone likes the minutiae of sports but then again the same can be said for any genre (rpgs, racing games, fighting games shooters). Put it this way, developers of fighting games aren’t blamed when after installing deep and complex fighting systems, some users still button mash. You need to elevate you mind Hates.

          • Hates bad writers.

I’ve played them, I’ve made games, I’ve studied them thoroughly, I can write them off all I want. You being a moron, knowing nothing of proper game design do the polar opposite of what I say and claim it as truth. The problem here is that I’m educated on the franchises being discussed, and I’ve played them all. You blindly buy them like a good little sheep, and thus can never be objective.

          • smash

I never questioned your knowledge of video games, I questioned your knowledge of sports. There is a big difference in the two but based off your hostility towards the concept of sports and your general displeasure in people purchasing games that they like as opposed to what you think they should , I think it’s safe to assume you may have a bias towards sports and/or people that like sports. It’s not a big deal but it seems kind of ridiculous to argue against the concept of people having different opinions. It doesn’t bother me that you don’t like sports games and instead prefer shooters (?? correct me if I am wrong) however as evidenced by you calling me a moron due to my recreational prefences, it seems to bother you a great deal that I and others like me enjoy sports games. Just a thought…

          • Dylan

I think the 2K Basketball games are quite good. With excellent mechanics and animations. Very high quality.

I miss some of the widely different sports games though, like Slugfest and when Blitz was decent.

      • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

        Bad day, huh?

        • Hates bad writers.

Another tasteless half wit huh? No surprised, most gamers are. That’s what happens when we stop being a group, and turn into an industry.

          • bbhbjhbj

            I like sports games

          • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

I’ll take that as a yes you did have a bad day.

      • Retro

The fact that you say Madden 06 is the same game as Madden 25 shows both your ignorance and idiocy.

        • David Brennan

i guess he says that because it does not change the basic game.. but what he does not realize is that most games do not change the basic game. For example a Multiplayer Shooter will always have Deathmatch.. of course a NFL game will always be NFL.. you can’t change it or it would not be NFL wouldn’t it. And they did change a lot in terms of engine and AI

  • Jorge T Gonzalez

C’mon Microsoft let’s close this sale with a bang

    • Secondnikki

      Wouldn’t call in a bang

  • didyabringyagrogalong

Saints Row IV seems to be one of the games on sale today I reckon. Noticed it in the AU store for $39.97 and is usually $79.

    • Sknots

      79!!!!!

      • didyabringyagrogalong

Yeah we know how to bend over and take it pretty well with the MS store in Australia.

        • AC130

Good news there are some decent discount even some games that I wanted.

        • evilfangs .

$79 and you didn’t even get all the content due to Australia laws tying to protect you from probing.

          • didyabringyagrogalong

That’s why we buy from UK

  • Secondnikki

Anyone know tomorrow’s deals yet apart from saints row?

    • wuzup916

        • David Brennan

Limbo is pretty awesome, just has no replay value.. unfortunately

      • Secondnikki

Thanks. Gona have to wait longer for injustice Soul calibur 5 and sfvtk it seems :-(

      • bbhbjhbj

metro last light, tropic 4, overlord, and an adventure time is also on sale

  • Cookiehead

Will there be a sale Monday as well? I’m pretty underwhelmed with every day but the first.

    • Assassin

Yeah I think MS doesn’t really get the whole end with a boom thing. They start with a boom and get worse every day.

    • bbhbjhbj

      this is Monday’s sale

      • WimpyCactus

        Maybe he meant Tuesday? Lol

        • Cookiehead

          Ahh right.

  • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

Pretty weak last day of sales. Limbo and Oblivion are worth it. Already have Oblivion, though. Maybe I’ll try out Saints Row IV.

    • http://Site.com Gedalya

I didn’t know Limbo was on sale?

      • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

It’s not listed on xbldb, but it’s $2.99 on the U.S. store right now.

        • wuzup916

Limbo is under price decreases and not current deals for some reason

  • Killz

Can’t see down-votes… What you do DISQUE?

    • AC130

Hidden downvotes the art of counter trolling.

    • Hates bad writers.

      They messed up big time.

  • smash

Should i get dark souls from today’s sale or oblivion from tomorrow’s? I have about 7$ in my account and would like to use it before the sale ends. I haven;t played either game although i own and have put like 300+ hours into skyrim. Also if it matters I picked up Tomb Raider and Arkham City earlier this week, I beat the former and it was absolutely amazing. Other game suggestions are welcome

    • Dylan Davis

The question is do you want a hard game or not? Dark Souls is ridiculously hard and for good reasons. If you are looking for more fun go Oblivion but if you get your fun out of dying and trial and error and the feeling of satisfaction after you finally beat a part go Dark Souls. Otherwise go Oblivion, both are good games imo.

      • smash

yea I’m a wimp when it comes to video games, I tend to play most non sports games on easy so Ill probably go with oblivion. thanks for the inpuy

    • Unkempt_Gerald

I’d say Dark Souls. Oblivion was great for it’s time, but chances are you will be underwhelmed after playing Skyrim to death. Dark Souls isn’t as difficult as others seem to think it is… I’m mediocre at games and I managed to beat it once. But it isn’t casual by any means, whereas Oblivion is a breeze.

      • smash

thats the exact reason im wary about oblivion. Skyrim was a wonderfully immerse experience but I don’t think I am a big enough fan to ignore the distraction of the downgrade in technology from 2006 to 2011 for the sake of the elder scrolls lore

        • Unkempt_Gerald

It isn’t just a tech downgrade. Skyrim > Oblivion in almost every aspect. Combat, story, presentation, location variety, leveling, etc… Morrowind is more of a classic than Oblivion. At 3.74 it’s worth the price but Mass Effect is better (and it’s still on sale for the same amount). Dark Souls is a one of a kind experience but if you don’t feel like a long, sometimes uncomfortable ride you won’t enjoy it. 300+ hours in Skyrim suggests you may have the patience, however. I’d gamble 5 bucks on whether I’d like it were I you. Just bought it after owning a physical copy myself after seeing that all the last day titles were garbage.

          • evilfangs .

“Dark Souls is a one of a kind experience”

            Demon Souls?

          • Unkempt_Gerald

Demon Souls isn’t on 360, sir. And there are other first person western RPGs (Two Worlds, Fallout series, etc.) whereas the Souls series has no peers.

          • smash

i’m inclined to give dark souls a go based solely on recommendations like yours. I guess you really can;t go wrong at 5$ plus I already own an elder scrolls game. the only other current gen rpgs ive played are the mass effect trilogy which i loved. Thanks for the insight

  • Lucas Sanches Cestari

metal gear rising should be called metal gear NANOMACHINES SON hahahaha

  • http://Site.com Gedalya

So, the last sales are sort of a let-down, from what I can see available atm. Basically, tomorrow’s highlights are Metro: Last Light & Saints Row 4, both will be priced at $20. I don’t know which of the two I’ll get, if nothing else is available. I’m pretty sure I’ll get Limbo, or I may just pay full price for Tales of Vesparia or Super Meat Boy. . . So, many choices.

    • AC130

I thought we still had Tuesday? :)

      • http://Site.com Gedalya

I thought so too, but that would make day 8. Well still have deal of the week.

    • ryder4life22187

You could have gotten Tales of Vesparia when it was 5 bucks a few weeks ago.

      • Unkempt_Gerald

Yeah that RPG sale a few weeks back was smexy.

  • マリオ

    US prices

    Puzzle Quest 2 – $2.99

    Rock of Ages – $1.99

    Oblivion – $3.74

    Saints Row IV – $19.99

    Metro: Last Light – $19.99

    Tropico 4 – $9.89

    Adventure Time™: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! – $19.99

    Overlord II – $4.94

    • マリオ

      Definitely want Oblivion.

    • deadbox102

This is a little underwhelming for me.

    • Jared

      And Canada Price as well

    • evilfangs .

Taking bets on at least ten different posts saying something alone the lines of “We got Metro: Last Light a few months ago for free on PS+”.

      • Dylan

        It’s free right now actually.

        I’ll bet on 7 posts.

  • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

Looks like I’ll just end it off with NiGHTS, Limbo, and Metal Gear RIsing.
In all I’ll have NiGHTS, Limbo, Metal Gear Rising, Soul Calibur 2, and Rock Band Blitz from it all. Not really what I was expecting, but oh well.

  • Rashaun Henry

i have $15 in my account idk whether to get metal gear rising or dark souls and oblivion tomorrow

    • Sknots

That depends on what you feel like playing… hard but amazing rpg pick Dark Souls, Hack n slash with nonstopin action and crazy ost pick MG rising

    • Lucas Sanches Cestari

DUDE, BUY METAL GEAR RISING!!! IT IS AWESOME!!!!

    • Hates bad writers.

Skip Rising, the mere fact that they made up a word for the title should show you how lazy they are. It’s basically one big QTE. It’s Ryse with emo space ninjas. Get Oblivion for sure, try out Dark Souls for it’s combat, spare yourself from Revengeance.

      • Kino

Seems like you havent played MGR. It’s not full of QTEs.

  • http://Site.com Gedalya

Yeah, im getting limbo and supermeatboy.

  • kingcrusher

So Diablo III is $39 everywhere for the physical copy of it. Should have been $29 on here to make it a real sale.

    • Unkempt_Gerald

Still holding out for 30 or less as well.

  • Unkempt_Gerald

What did you guys/gals purchase off the sale this week? I’ve been winning like Charlie Sheen, just need more space to put all this software. As follows:

    Daggerdale
    Arkham City
    Halo: Reach
    Dishonored
    Dust: An Elysian Tail
    Tony Hawk’s PS HD
    Fallout 3
    Skyrim
    Left4Dead
    The Darkness 2
    Red Dead Redemption
    Dark Souls

Some are titles I held out for, some are rebuys.

    • didyabringyagrogalong

Oblivion, Pool Nation, Farming Simulator, Brothers A Tale of two sons, Walking dead, Tony Hawk. Sale came at the right time as I had few points to use up before they expired as I picked up points $50 worth but once redeemed got $66 worth as the points were on sale, due to converting to normal $$ and wiping the points out.

    • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

Rock Band Blitz, Limbo, NiGHTS, Soul Calibur 2, and Metal Gear Rising.
Not much, but I’m fine with it.

      • Unkempt_Gerald

I mulled over Soul Cal 2, ended up getting Left4Dead in place bc the fiancé doesn’t do fighting games. Limbo is great but I beat it on PC and haven’t a reason in the world to replay.

      • Sigognac

The quality of a few games following our personal taste is worth more than a quantity of indifferent ones.

        • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

          True that.

    • Dylan Davis

      Arkham City
      Left4Dead
      PayDay 2
On the verge of getting Diablo 3

    • Sigognac

Personnally, as I like colours and lightness, I aquired (for my surrounding too):
Sonic Generations, Dirt 3, Bastion, Pool Nation and Bejeweled 3.
      With some gifts around me.
Already owning The Cave and Brothers, that I would have taken otherly.

Nb. For the latecomers with a budget, I would suggest Dirt 3 and maybe Dust: An Elysian Tail. Of course, for someone with similar tastes.

      • Unkempt_Gerald

I should have got Bastion, held out as I figured the last days would hold better options. Oh well. Also Brothers was a steal but I was leaning more toward lengthy titles and digital rebuys of old favorites. I missed out on the Christmas sales due to having kids to buy for so seeing a lot of those old deals come back around made me giddy. Sonic Generations is a good one but my kiddos already have it on disc.

        • Sigognac

You seem to have an eye for good games.
I would not worry, as those games have a tendency to come back on sales sometimes (Brothers and The Cave were twice recently).
And you do well by keeping the best ones on a disc format.
I wish you some pleasant entertainments with your children, since sharing this kind of games with them can help them discern and know an other point of view.
This said, I hope you found a thing for you too.

    • http://www.kevin-fell.co.uk/ Kevin Fell

All things considered it was a decent sale for me. I got the following:

      Portal 2
      Mass Effect
      DiRT 3
      Driver San Francisco
      Dust
      Runner 2
      Soul Calibur 2 HD
      Left 4 Dead
      Bejeweled 3
      Walking Dead S2E1
      Pool Nation
      Real Steal

I already own the following, otherwise I would have purchased a selection of these too:

      Alan Wake American Nightmare
      Tony Hawks PS HD
      Batman: Arkham City
      Motorcross Madness
      Fable 3
      Dishonored
      Halo Reach
      Dante’s Inferno
      Dark Douls
      Tomb Raider
      Brothers
      The Cave
      Fallout 3
      Read Dead Redemption
      Orange Box
      Nights Into Dreams
      LIMBO
