  • Liquidfx Xboxdude

i can’t wait to not play this game.

    • https://twitter.com/Ganon255 Ganon255

      you’re so edgy and cool

  • Lucas Sanches Cestari

omg here in brazil the price is a horror!!! it’s 65$ Dollars!!!!, i guess, i was going to buy in the release day… but i will wait for a sale =/
also, since the game is digital, idk why it comes with taxes…

    • Nick Peck

Complain to whatever type of govt you have about the taxes. I had a long run without them myself in Ohio (US) but now we have to pay tax on most digital purchases now… it sucks I agree.

      • Liquidfx Xboxdude

i don’t think people in other countries can openly complain about things as we do in the US. unless they just like being a head on a stick outside of the leaders headquarters. Columbus did that too.

        • Tomas

wtf? do you really think that everyone of us out side of US is uncivilized savages that can’t open our mouth with out being harassed by our leaders? really?

          • https://www.facebook.com/janko.haluska dolnodon

I think @liquidfxxboxdude:disqus meant it more like a joke – at least I hope he did, otherwise it is pathetic.

          • ImTheMetalLord

Lots of his posts are sarcastic and need to be taken with a grain of salt. If you been reading Major Nelson’s blogs for some time now you would recognize his humor. Personally I think it’s pretty funny. Like look below he says “I can’t wait to not play this game” SMDH

  • RayMadeMeDoIt

I wish they would announce what the digital price is going to be in the UK when it launches on Friday. I would love to cancel my pre-order physical copy if it’s similar, but I don’t want to risk missing out on getting the game at launch if the price is extortionate (as it usually is for digital in the UK).

    • Senses Failed

If it’s the same conversion as rayman legends – just under £35

      • evilfangs .

Get it on Physical then just like Rayman Legends at £24.99.

      • Allan

At least you didn’t get Rayman Legends on steam. It doesn’t even launch. Just crashes to desktop. The fix is disabling your entire internet connection. I heard on the steam forums that Ubisoft’s DRM has the game connecting to some IP address. Only the address doesn’t exist. They’ve never bothered trying to fix it…

    • Clemo81

it makes it very hard to buy these when you pay £55 for most games on demand and the US pays so much less.

£55 is $92 so its safe to say europe just doesn’t get the best deals in terms of currency exchange

  • http://matthewkenealy.wordpress.com/ Matthew Kenealy

I thought this was only releasing on Xbox One at first. Might pick it up on Xbox 360 now.

  • Nick Peck

Downloading as we speak, can’t wait to play it later. I’ll be on later for some healing action.

    • BlinkFandango

I started playing a little while it was installing, looks pretty good and the controls were very easy to use. Can’t wait to jump online.

  • mcmax3000

Looking forward to trying it out tonight. Going to pick up my copy on my lunch.

  • http://about.me/chuck.yoder Chuck Yoder

    That nextgen $10 up-charge.

  • ungeheier

    $20. I’d buy it. $40? Not a chance.

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

oh come on. i hear they funk you good. that’s got to be worth something right?

    • https://www.facebook.com/janko.haluska dolnodon

thank you, I thought I would be the only one to think it is a bit much for such kind of shooter. to me it sounds more like a free-to-play game. but on the other hand, also Angry Birds has a hefty price tag on Xbox…

      • http://www.xbox.com/ J.Rhy@n

        It’s over priced! – I shall pass!

  • Gazza!!!

Can I change my region and pay with PayPal?

  • Killz

Anyone think this should be Free with Gold? I do…

    • ElektroDragon

Any multiplayer only game should be free with Gold. That includes Titanfall.

      • http://www.xbox.com/ J.Rhy@n

^^ I disagree since Titanfall is PC / Xbox only – How are the developers supposed to fund such a title by giving it away?

        • ElektroDragon

By asking MS for a slice of the Gold subscription pie.

    • Nick Peck

Why should it be free? It’s a new game. You people and wanting everything for free lol…

  • Danny Hogan

    Dam shame its so expensive

  • Allan

I grabbed this simply because it has local MP. Remember when that used to be the norm in console gaming? Very few games have this feature now.

  • elsascho

Great… Germany have to wait again… All global… all equal… all same… same time.. bla bla bla…

    • http://www.Bl4ckSh33p.de/ Bl4ckSh33p

Waiting 3-4 days longer for the same game seems strange. -.-
But the worst thing is we get less game for the same or more money when buying digital! Many stores have 5-10€ cheaper versions + PreOrder/Launch DLCs! Please fix that! :(

      • Jorge Garza

In Mexico the digital version is actually cheaper ($499 pesos digital vs $599 & $699 depending on the retail store). About the DLC, Major Nelson posted once that with every digital game, if you buy it on the first 2 weeks after release date, you will get the pre order DLC´s.

        • http://www.Bl4ckSh33p.de/ Bl4ckSh33p

I thought this was only valid for the launch games? Would be nice to get the DLCs for all digital purchases. (I did not get it for Fable on Xbox 360)

  • http://www.Bl4ckSh33p.de/ Bl4ckSh33p

It will be 40€ again? Rayman was already very expensive for 40€ (but it has much content so it seems to be ok) but its much money for such “small” games.

  • A. J.

I just bought this game through my web browser while at work. Will my Xbox automatically download and install it before I get home? My X1 is turned off, but is set for the instant on. So essentially it is in a low power state.

    • ImTheMetalLord

It should have. Reply and let me know…..kinda curious.

      • A. J.

No, it didn’t. I don’t think that buying it through a browser necessarily even queues it up for download. I ended up going to my console and installing it.

I was able to pin it from my SmartGlass app before getting it, though.

        • Allan

Yeah it doesn’t. I’ve tried it before too. You can however, buy a game on the XB1, queue it up, and then turn the console off. As long as you have it set to go into a low power state, it’ll download an install.

          • A. J.

Hopefully that add this with a future update.

I bought it while at work, and made a special stop at home to start the download before going back out. I wanted it to be downloaded and installed by the time I finally got home for the night. It’s a small gripe, but hopefully it gets improved in the future.

          • ImTheMetalLord

Wow sounds like it works just like the 360 in that aspect then. I thought I read somewhere that you could do what you where hoping you did. Maybe it is going to be part of a future update then or I’m remembering wrong in my old age. Prob the later.

          • A. J.

I believe it was officially stated that it was on the to-do list.

It would be a cool feature, but I don’t think that it is a high priority. I’d prefer they work on other things like external storage first.

  • kevgallacher

Can we get trials for these games? I don’t want to buy Xbox live arcade games without a trial. It was great on 360, cause these kinds of games are really a hit or miss to be honest.

    • Flawless

i agree, but this isnt an arcade game.

      • kevgallacher

It’s not a standard full price game though is it.

        • Flawless

this isnt the first full retail game to not be $60,i guess Dead Island Riptide is an arcade game too.

        • deadbox102

C’mon, that’s pretty weak criteria you’re using there.

    • ImTheMetalLord

Demo is not available on the 360 either for this game and not listed under the Arcade games which are the only ones on the 360 that you are guaranteed a demo of. Some “On Demand” games now still don’t have demo’s for them. MS just recently started to put out games on day one of release like this game available for a digital copy so this is new territory for them.

  • deadbox102

    This game is a blast.

  • Sledg

I love this game so far.

  • http://Site.com Gedalya

$30 is too steep for me on this one.

  • Jayrumz

Games so much fun… but the servers are trash. Expected on game release? def. Expected for a multiplayer-only game? Hell no.

  • Justin Stewart

So I checked the xbox 360 and this game isn’t out?

    • ImTheMetalLord

Where are you looking it’s been on there all day. In fact now the home screen has a ad for it.

      • Justin Stewart

In the arcade section of Xbox Live. I don’t have Xbox One so maybe it’s not available for Xbox 360 yet.

        • ImTheMetalLord

It’s not “Arcade” it’s in the “On Demand” section. We are going to start seeing new releases coming out on day one retail and in that section same day. Thief that as well just got released is in there too.

          • Justin Stewart

Oh ok I didn’t know it was a retail game I thought it was an arcade game like the first one. I wonder if South Park The Stick Of Truth will get the digital on day of release?

          • ImTheMetalLord

Good question! Considering all three new releases yesterday were available on demand on day one it’s looking good for that to be a fact. The new Castlevania is the 3rd one. With Thief and Garden Warfare

          • Justin Stewart

I’m excited to find out not that I would buy the digital version because I bought the Grand Wizard Edition. I am a fan of South Park and I am dying to play it and can’t wait to find out if the game gets great reviews.

    • http://www.xbox.com/ J.Rhy@n

28th Feb it says in the Store!

  • Rodrigo De Camargo Rodrigues

    great game very funny

  • Allan

It’s a fun game. But oh am I not liking EA’s origin service. The servers were down most of yesterday evening for us and when my kids went to play this morning it wanted separate origin accounts for them? Wouldn’t even let them use my account, unless they logged in the XB1 as me.

  • Greg

To those considering the X1 version or the 360, be aware the 360 version has no pre-lobby system for the multiplayer side of the game to invite friends or a group of friends to join in the multiplayer fun (Garden Ops is fine and has a way to invite friends). I unfortunately purchased the game on 360 (yeah not everyone has an X1 yet) to do just that but am left to only experience half the game with friends. Not sure why this hasn’t been mentioned more thus far but for many of my 360 friends it is a deal breaker. The X1 version I am told is similar to inviting friends in Battlefield 4. Too bad too because the game is really fun but as in most games it’s always better with friends. If for some reason I am wrong or missing something I will be ecstatic to be corrected.

    • http://www.carincress.com/ Xenmic

I was going to purchase 2 copies, one for me and one for my wife but I think I’ll pass now. Thanks for the Great info.

    • Chad_7Eleven

came here wondering what that extra $10 bucks for the X1 version was for. now i know – multiplayer lobbies.

    • Poeticsky14

You can invite friends to join in the game when playing multiplayer. Yeah there is no lobbie but when you are playing you can hit the center button on the control and send a invite to a friend playing the same game. I have done is plenty of times.

  • lll NaS lll

This game is great… didn’t expect that. Will keep playing this till march 11th TitanFall.

    Get this game, it’s awesome!

    • Nick

That is the exact same reason I’m playing it! to hold me over until Titanfall.

  • https://www.facebook.com/janko.haluska dolnodon

I have a dilemma, if to buy it now, or to wait out for a deal. The disc version is cheaper already, but as it is a multiplayer only game, I would like a digital copy. I was wondering, how much it will take until MS comes out with a deal on this – what do you think?

    • http://www.xboxplayers.com/ Dodge

Online prices are not worth buying unless it comes out at a decent price physical is the way to go then trade in

      • Lucas

They are when you live in other countries.
