  • Nick King

Looking forward to this, not out here until Friday though.

    • Michael Košut

I love Kinect Sports franchise. We need Dance Central 4 tho…

      • Nick King

We all enjoyed bowling on the 360. Kids were Dance Central fans but I think they prefer Just Dance now.

        • Michael Košut

JD is really casual. In DC you really need to dance. It’s more ,,hc”.

      • Digiadam

No! Dance games need to die!

        • Peter

Why? Its one of the few genres which work more or less well with kinect have you even tried them? CHICKS bro ladies love the game when invited over. Its a great party game seiously one of the few games that work well for kinect

  • HierkönnteIhreWerbungstehen

this is the type of game a core gamer wants, not

    • pie

Who cares about core gamers? Not me.

      • Some guy

        Not Microsoft either.

        • Michael Košut

    • Digiadam

You are the worst troll ever here. Hope you get banned.

    • gamer04

I’d rather have a variety of game types, i’m a core gamer, but i need some variety, i also have kids, so kinect is extremely handy for voice control and motion games

    • Guest

Even if they said they were going to change the focus to hardcore gamers and only hardcore gamers a year ago, you wouldn’t see games from that yet. How fast do you think development moves?

  • Liquidfx Xboxdude

this game is not much better than the last one as far as motion control go. i am disappointed. good exercise though trying to flail around. kinect is about to be sold on ebay if it doesn’t get better.

    • Kravex

      To who?

      • evilfangs .

Some people hack Kinects for other purposes and it’s cheaper to buy a Kinect then the whole console.

I’ve seen Kinect used for scientific stuff which is crazy.

        • ImTheMetalLord

          And Ghost Hunting too.

        • Kravex

I’m guessing that’s the 1st Kinect, the Xbox One Kinect doesn’t have a USB connection so it can’t be connected to a PC.

    • Mike Greenway

I have only played with it for a few hours, But I am of the opposite opinion, The motion control works as it should, to make the games fun.

      • Liquidfx Xboxdude

on some of the games, not all, in my experience.

    • OldSocialist

I agree. While I won’t sell Kinect – I use Skype and voice commands – in what I’ve experienced of the game so far it works best in wave racing and shooting, becomes very iffy in the climbing and then becomes a matter of luck in the soccer. I haven’t played the other sports because I haven’t won the soccer tutorial game yet, with every one of my shots, no matter how my foot is angled, going straight at the goalie.

Another annoyance is that the game needs as much space as Kinect 1. I’d thought the days of moving the furniture to play were over. So far it’s had its moments, but is rather disappointing.

  • Michael Košut

We need better pricing on digital games, Larry. This is madness. Great game tho! Please keep Kinect IN EVERY BOX ;-)

    • Nick King

Digital pricing is my biggest gripe!

  • Danny Hogan

Kinect Rivals where you need a massive condo or a castle to play

    • Michael Košut

      Um… no.

  • Lucas Sanches Cestari

Kinect sports for 100 dollars here in brazil… someone gotta do something with those corrupted presidents

  • ungeheier

Hope this eventually goes 50% off. With the reviews its been getting, i cant justify $60.

    • X360

      Maybe 75%

  • http://twitter.com/dat_gap_doe KaosTheory

$60…wow. You’d be lucky if it keeps its head above water @ $9.99. At the current price in all regions, it will not be successful.

    • gamer04

If you preordered from the microsoft store you get a 10$ xbox gift card, essentially making it 50$, so thats not too bad

    • Mike Greenway

Why would I be lucky? (“You’d be lucky…”)

  • Chad_7Eleven

Looking forward to trying out the facial scanning feature – wondering what will happen if I hold my dog up in front of the camera.

    • OldSocialist

Well, if it scans the dog it’ll look like at least one of the girlfriends I had in my youth…

    • Digiadam

Do it and post the result here. PLEASE!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

  • http://soundcloud.com/ViRUSfromMARS Jaffa Cake King

I’d rather stick my hand in a blender.

    • Mike Greenway

There is nothing saying that you can’t, but I’d think it over again.

    • roozbeh, again

Really! how would you play games with a controller then hotshot?

  • Joshua Long

Microsoft should take the bowling and tennis aspects of Kinect Sports Rivals and bundle it in with every new Xbox One. Being able to demostrate what Kinect is capable of is crucial and MS has so far failed to deliver. Packing in Tennis and Bowling would be an excellent headstart.

    • ryder4life22187

If they did they would do exactly this. Watched a guy at work open and remove all the seals off the new XB1’s to put in a DL card of Forza 5 then attach a new seal, as MS is still calling those consoles new even though they are having the retailers open the systems box.

      • Liquidfx Xboxdude

that is a pet peeve of mine with big price items. when i buy it i want it to be never opened since it left factory.

        • ryder4life22187

I am the same way, and i just couldn’t get over the idea of removing the factory seals, and putting in a DL card and placing a new seal on.

  • Michael Košut

It’s available in US. In Europe we need to wait till Friday. Or you can change location to US and buy it there. I did it with some games.

  • Mr&Mrs Ninja

Mr. Ninja: Sweet game but I was kinda thinking they would include boxing. I need boxing on this new Kinect!

  • Mr&Mrs Ninja

    Hold up…$60! It’s 49.99 on gamefly!

  • fur low

haha I saw this game in action, the wave rider kept getting bugged and the guy had to wave his hand in front of the camera to make it move again. Not to mention, just like the fighter within, the movement detection by kinect is so delayed it makes gaming with it a complete farce, the Wii did a better job with motion controls than crapnect

    • slasaru

Yep, they could have made special gloves and knee pads for Kinect games double precision

  • Michael Košut

  • alex

so the digital version is 10£ more expensive than retail from amazon last time i checked. really ms?

  • Todd Wegman

I wanted this game to blow me away to help justify the kinect 2.0, but the game is only ok. I really wanted a game based on skill and yet there are the same issues that were present on the original kinect… I guess I was expecting too much- fell for the hype…

  • Calum Roberts

Ridiculously expensive for what it is. As ore the other digital versions of games
