man.. how many LEGO games do we need lol thats like 3 since the release of X1..

    • Gazza!!!

They are getting tiresome. I have given up on them since the Marvel one bored me to death.

      • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Really! I loved that one.. I actually hadn’t played any lego games until that one. My girlfriend and I played the whole thing coop I thought it was great.. since then we went back and picked up the batman ones.. The first one wasn’t great but the second one was sweet.. but I agree with what he said they need to slow down on the lego games lol

        • Gazza!!!

I have played every one up till then. I think its because of that I got bored of them. Plus I prefered the earlier ones without the open worlds. Indy Lego 2 was my favourite.

      • NarcoSleepy

I completely agree… The LEGO games used to be my favorite, but they have really been phoning in the last few releases. Marvel was probably the worst, which was a surprise, since I think it came out relatively shortly after Batman 2, which is one of my favorites. Very few puzzles and too many stupid ring races in free roam.
Also, just how hard would it be to slap on some online co-op? I am usually complaining about games not having local co-op…

    • Player No 13

Yup, but Lego games are for everyone and they are generally fun. I really hope they make a Lego Marvel Super Heroes sequel since that game was awesome. Hopefully they’ll add online co-op too.

      • Michael Burden

I agree on the online coop, not sure why they ever removed that feature. Last LEGO game to have it was LEGO Indiana Jones I believe.

  • Fearful Symmetry

WHy are there no reviews for this ANYWHERE, it’s kind of crazy

    • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Played one, played em all lol.. but seriously no that is weird

      • evilfangs .

Was no review for Lego movie game too but that was an ok game, I think Marvel was better though.

I’m still going to pick this game up when it’s released in the UK as I love Lord of the rings and loved the Hobbit movies. Shame they couldn’t wait to put all 3 movies in one game though.

        • NarcoSleepy

Marvel Lego was ok, but I thought Batman 2 was much better. In free roam, you could pretty much just go through with one person (not always, but may as well have). At least in Batman 2, you had to solve puzzles with different characters.
Also, not big on the Legos talking. I like them better when they just made noises and gestures. Much more enjoyable. They are spitting these things out so fast and often, I don’t think they are putting any real effort into them anymore.

    • Fearful Symmetry

My point is that it’s weird, the crappiest, most obscure games on the planet get reviews at the very least day of. Something as prevalent as the Hobbit combined with legos and there is absolutely no buzz? Something is fishy, Lord of the rings Lego had reviews out day before by the ton. I’m a huge lord of the rings fan, HUGE, but even I am approaching this with a skeptical eye, something is up here

      • Riddick Snipes

        RESOLUTION.

      • Will Muscat

AllAgeGaming will have the review up soon, just search the name on facebook or head to the dot com.

        • Fearful Symmetry

Rad, I tip my hat to you my good sir, your a gentleman and a scholar

    • NarcoSleepy

That is because the review embargo isn’t up until next month :)

      • Fearful Symmetry

wait, what? You can’t embargo a review beyond a release date can you?

        • NarcoSleepy

No, I was just poking fun at embargoes in general. Personally think that they hurt gaming.

          • Fearful Symmetry

indeed, as soon as you hear of a day one embargo you instantly suspect that the developers are trying to hide an awful game

          • Will Muscat

            Embargo lifts today.

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

      good question.

  • disqus_icUCvMAJ5v

No Larry, I don’t need an extra controller for 49.99, what I need is for my current controller to stop disconnecting! When is that April update coming?

    • NarcoSleepy

The latest XB1 update is supposed to be addressing this issue, although I have not experienced it, except when I connect/disconnect the charging cable.

      • evilfangs .

Yea the only thing I’ve experienced with my controller disconnecting is when it dies of battery and when I connect it to the charging cable but that’s a given as when you connect it to the cable the wireless inside the controller turns off and it becomes a wired controller.

        • Liquidfx Xboxdude

weird because my ps3 and ps4 and xbox 360 controllers never do that. and i think they are wireless.

          • evilfangs .

The 360 was always wireless regardless of if you plugged it into the charger. The Xbox one controller however is both, and once you plug a usb into it, the controller disables the wireless and starts using the usb wired connection.

            I don’t know how the ps3 and ps4 works.

    • FifaAddict

I suggest you contact xbox support as this problem should not be happening, you will then send the controller to Germany (free of charge in the UK) and they will send a replacement. (Note: you only send to Germany if you live in Europe, USA I do not know)

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

mine does not do this and have 2. your’s is defective.

  • http://twitter.com/dat_gap_doe KaosTheory

Should be $39.99 or maybe even $24.99. I just don’t see how digital titles cost the same as actual discs. Blows my mind.

    • ImTheMetalLord

Because you are paying for the infrastructure to house that game and make it available to download. And besides you are paying those hard working people that programmed the game.

      • digitallife

Yes that makes sense in retail because retailers have to turn a profit..so what’s the cost of the game before the retailer factor…certainly not $60. Either way discounted or not MS still gets it’s cut and license fee.

        • ImTheMetalLord

And MS has to make the game available to D/L and re D/L which means servers/electricity/building to house servers/internet lines/etc. (infrastructure)

          • EldritchWarlord

In practice digital distribution is cheaper than physical distribution. The real reason for the price parity is that retailers like Gamestop hold tremendous influence over publishers and console manufacturers. Gamestop of course has great interest in keeping the used game market alive and for that to happen people need to buy new physical copies to sell used later.

If digitally distributed games were simply cheaper (like they are on PC) then the used game market would shrivel up quite quickly, putting Gamestop out of business.

        • Nick Peck

Just be lucky game costs haven’t hit $80-100 which is where they should be if they followed the “next gen systems, new game price hikes” theme of years past.

I agree DD should be a tad cheaper than physical, but I don’t see it happening across the board anytime soon. The dev’s like making the money off of the DD versions as they cost less (= more profits for them) to get out into the wild.

One day it will happen for every game, but who knows when that will be mostly due to the retail market going crazy if there is a huge price difference.

    • Matt Wolf

I highly doubt those weak small cheaply made pieces of plastic cost $60, and not the years or millions of dollars that go into game development.

      • Liquidfx Xboxdude

you can’t resell digital very easy. disks hold value believe it or not. i sell on ebay all the time so i got the low down on things like this. jeez.

        • Matt Wolf

Well.. If this was Steam OR if you were silver tonged enough to trick Xbox Live support.. You COULD get a full refund.

          • Liquidfx Xboxdude

um that takes A LOT more work then just buying the physical disc and then selling it for a good amount back.

          • Matt Wolf

Nothing is ever impossible, when your ultimate goal is cheapassery or full refunds.

  • evilfangs .

Anyone know if the Tritton 720+ headset would work on Xbox one with the chat adapter ( obviously ) and how would it connect all up?

    • Does Not Equal

      LEGO The Hobbit.

      • evilfangs .

Yep, that’s the name of this game, however I’m looking for help or information about headset and no one is answering my question on the xbox website so I thought someone here would know the answer as I know not everyone visits that site because it’s a mess.

        • Chad_7Eleven

I know this doesnt answer your question, but I have a Turtle Beach headset I bought for 360. The Chat adapter on the Turtle Beach headset requires the 360′s 2.5mm connection.

Everything else I needed came with the Xbox One adapter which requires a 3.5mm input (the adapter comes with a 2.5mm – 3.5mm converter). I just plugged the cord from my turtle beach into the converter, plugged the converter into the adapter, than the adapter into the controller (when typed out sounds absolutely ridiculous).

Is the plug on the end of your current headset just a plug that looks like a normal earphone plug, but a little smaller (is to small when you try plugging into the headphone jack on a laptop or ipod)? If so, the above will hopefully work for you as well.

          • evilfangs .

I can’t use my Turtle Beach x31 on my Xbox one because I used a HDMI component / red yellow and white wires in the back of my TV or something like that as either my TV or Xbox 360 wasn’t able to connect the headset the other normal way.

          • digitallife

Unplug your rca’s from the back of the tv otherwise you get two layers of sound. The game and audio volume both come through the adapter now. The only loss you’ll have is the ability to listen to stuff without the headset being plugged into the adapter.

          • evilfangs .

So my wireless receiver would connect to a usb slot on my xbox one and using the chat adapter I’d be able to get game sound and voice chat without having the red, yellow white wires attached?

        • Liquidfx Xboxdude

720 headset = 720 graphics so yes. i did the math and i say yes to your question.

      • BigBernard

        That’s lovely.

        • Does Not Equal

          No.

          • BigBernard

            That’s fascinating.

          • Does Not Equal

            No.

          • BigBernard

            LEGO The Hobbit.

  • digitallife

Xbox one game sale anyone? Black flag? Fifa? Buehler? These games have been out longer than Ryse yet haven’t been on sale once.

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

      buehler. yay.

  • http://people.ign.com/ltsjoemama ltsJoeMama

Kind of ridiculous that this is $60 on both the Xbox and PS4. It’s only $30 on Steam.
At least make it $40, Microsoft and Sony!

    • Volitar Prime

You can get the Steam version for $21.60 from GreenManGaming so $60 for this version is just absurd.

  • evilfangs .

You’re trying to redeem them on your Xbox one using “Xbox use a code” or going into the game store on your console and hitting use a code tab?
