    $20? No thanks.

      Baseball? No thanks.

      • Justin Stewart

Won’t be getting this at all!

    • NBA Kirkland

It’s only $4.99 for the same game on iOS if that helps. Probably not…

  • Dave Breadner

I was hoping they would have gone with original style round RBI graphics, not the RBI 2 skinnier models. Hopefully they had the rights to the theme.

  • digitallife

    No…thank you!

  • wuzup916

R.B.I. Baseball 14 or Trials Fusion…. I think I’ll wait a week and get trials instead

  • The Yankee

Same gameplay with updated graphics as classic…yes please!!!….no Xbox one version tho…

    • Gazza!!!

Coming in the near future I believe.

      • BotherDaz

Yes, xb1 version will be out in May. No exact date yet.

  • Nathan Gura

    FINALLY!!! For $20!? No thanks.

  • chex_mix

Only 2 player local multiplayer and no XBox Live functionality. No thanks…

  • Dylan

It’s a little sad when you think about how this is the closest Xbox customers will get to any sort of baseball game for the foreseeable future.

    • trfe

Who cares about baseball video games? Pretty much any video game sport is better.

      • Dylan

That’s probably because you haven’t played a proper baseball game.

MVP Baseball 2004 and 05 won game of the year awards back in the day. And Slugfest was as big as NFL Blitz back in the day too.

Try to make the argument that Madden is better than MLB the Show. Impossible. That’s like saying Madden is better than the NBA 2K series.

        • trfe

The only good baseball game was the one where that had the mode where you hit balls into neon signs. Not sure if the name. The Bigs maybe? Realistic baseball video games are pretty drab. No wonder there’s only one franchise left. No one plays them anymore.

        • Fred

Tony Larusa Baseball FTW! Oh man, that was a long time ago…

      • KrisXX

who cares about dumb boring nfl games? Yawn MADDEN and football! And even more boring, SOCCER! LOL at FIFA GAMES!!!!!!!!!! Snore!

    • David719

I think we’ll see EA step back in soon. An open market for them

      • Dylan

I hope so! Their MVP series was awesome.

  • Dave Breadner

Note to all developers of video games:

Just because high end big HDTVs allows you to make really small text, doesn’t mean that you should use really small text.

  • Dave Breadner

Other than not being able to read the controls on my travel screen, I’m having fun so far. I like my baseball games simple.

  • Dave Breadner

It takes more from the RBI Baseball 93 look, it doesn’t have the iconic music, but it does play like how I remember the original being. I like it.

  • B00ME

Hopefully this goes on sale soon. I’m tired of seeing $10 XBLA games with $20 price tags.

  • http://www.youtube.com/SabzilaTV SabzilaTV

$20 for an arcade game?? i can buy $5 AAA titles with the gold specials instead.

  • Benjamin

    How about a reasonable price?

  • Joshua Long

Great game at a good price but how is it the most American of the consoles completely lacks a true MLB Sim game, ala The Show on PlayStation. I really wish EA could bring back their MLB Franchise, what was it, MVP Baseball which was spawned from Triple Play? Its been so long I forget.

    • Benjamin

$20 for an arcade game is not a good price. Not when you can pick up lots of top notch “regular” Xbox 360 games for $5-10 and get way more game.

  • Dave Breadner

EA’s MVP Baseball 2005 is the best baseball game this millennium. Batting is nice and simple. Pitching as well.

  • Please Clarify

$20 for a $5 game? (That’s the price on iOS.)

    I’ll pass.

    • Mr&Mrs Ninja

on iOS it’s not worth $5. I would at least put it on the X1 and 360 for $10

  • Elan Gabriel

Luckily it’s on Xbox 360, so we can try a demo first.

  • ElektroDragon

I don’t care about the price or quality or anything. I’m just happy that this week’s release(s) actually got announced for a change!

  • Liquidfx Xboxdude

$20 again. these devs are shooting themselves in the foot. are they crazy?

  • Peter

Problem being that hasn’t the popularity of baseball kinda waned as one of the big sports in videogames? NBA, MAdden and and of course FIFA stay strong and large. Seems like baseball is almost getting regulated to NHL and Nascar level.

again not a sports fan nor sports gamer so what do i know

  • Mr&Mrs Ninja

    zzzzzzz

  • Dny Playa

We need an mmo baseball game. UBO 2006 was an awesome and pretty popular game, despite its borderline terrible gameplay and choppy graphics. It was still fun.

  • Biggievan

Not worth $5. Completely frustrating hitting and fielding. Try before you buy.

  • Scott Daylor

I was gonna grab this at $10, but not $20. It seems like publishers are wanting more and more cash for these download only games.

    • Bennijin

They know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

  • Beano

Game Informer just gave this game a 2. I wouldn’t pay $1 for it.

  • ImTheMetalLord

All the negativity on this game for what? I tried the demo and it just doesn’t give you a well enough feel for the game. It’s a simple baseball game but you can still play 162 game season which is very cool. Or you could just put yourself in the playoffs and simply push for a World Series Title. I ended up paying the $20 and trust me I have spent way more on way less entertaining games. To each their own. But to criticize something you haven’t fully tried because of the pricing is like talking with your head in a very dark place.

  • Bennijin

    Nope.
