      • gamer246

        • Professor Oak

Does your Games on Demand Section have Saints row 3?

          • gamer246

            yes,nevermind tnx anyway

          • Professor Oak

So yes, you will get Saints Row 3

  • jeffyg3

I finished Dust on my Mac a month ago…amazing game…already bought it on the Xbox 360 awhile ago too. Totally looking for Saints Row the Third. Awesome games, awesome month

  • Revoredo

Nice! Two games I would probably never buy, but would rather play.

  • Daniel Schibuk

Will Saints Row be available for free on May 31st?

    • Sigognac

Normally, yes. The last game of the month is usually available from the 15 up to the end of the last day of the month, even late at night before the morning of the first day of the next month.

    • itsjustme

I see what you’re getting at, Dan. It says the game is free until May 30, but there are 31 days this month.

  • Professor Oak

Steam Sales up for Starwars, much better deals, except no lego.

    • maxy

and activision sale too! Oh mate I will be on steam all month!

    • Does Not Equal

      … so?

      • teethintored

Why don’t you do everyone a favor and stop coming here? All you do is try to instigate little pointless battles. He’s letting people who would be interested in Star Wars titles that have xbox and/or PC know that Steam has better deals going on right now.

        • Professor Oak

          Nailed it.

        • Does Not Equal

Is that what he was doing?

      • Professor Oak

Do you believe the world revolves around you, just cause you don’t want to see something doesn’t mean others don’t.

        • Does Not Equal

You gonna tell us about Walmart’s sales next? Or what’s cheap at Fingerhut?

          • Professor Oak

Are you on your period? Please don’t take it out on these blogs.

  • Dylan

It’d be swell if you guys at Microsoft would put in hand selected titles i.e Dust, Fez, Super Meat Boy and give the option to choose one of the pre selected titles for the first 15 days of the month and do the same with the last 15 (or 16) days of the month i.e Fallout 3, Amazing Spiderman, Skate 3. This would provide us free choice over selected games in a month, then people would have less to complain about because it would be their own choice of game. Just a suggestion, I personally would like to thank Microsoft and a special thank you to Mr.Hryb himself for keeping us updated on the GWG, you rock!

    • David719

Problem is they basically have to buy out these games. It would be a big waste to buy out 6 games, only to see some of them not being picked.

      • digitallife

I agree I think 6 games would be a bit much

        • Silas

Not to mention, it’d be much more difficult to ensure that everyone only gets one of each selection. As it stands, they simply set one game as “free.” With multiple games, they’d have to generate codes or something and send those out, reflecting whichever game you selected.

  • deadbox102

    One of the better months.

  • digitallife

Watch dogs sale at the ms store, get the game plus a $15 gift card but does it come with the pre-order bonuses everyone else has?

    • Silas

I highly disagree about SR3 being better than SR2.
The majority of SR3’s campaign involves learning how to do the mini-games.

The controls and visuals are MUCH more fleshed out in SR3, but the actual storyline is more interesting and more fun in SR2.

      • digitallife

By that I mean it’s less restrictive in terms of it’s audience. I think the turn they made with the series with the third and fourth opened it up to the favor of more casual gamers such as my fiance.

      • robert

Omg!? Why is everyone comparing Sr2 to Sr3? And which one is better? Sr1 is thee best game out of the series. Sr1 is the closest to gta, and has serious (dark) story behind it. I feel like the series turned into comedy after the first game.

    Good Choices!

  • Digiadam

Well free is free but what awful games. The saints row games are junk at best.

    • todd Wright

      suck off buddy

      • Digiadam

Truth hurts you I guess. Try maturity some time kid. It will help you grow up.

    • roozbeh, again

I totally disagree. Saints row is a great series.

      • Digiadam

Well to each their own. I borrowed the games from a friend and was not impressed at all. Actually fell asleep playing them….in the afternoon even!

Guess they are not for me.

At least you were mature about your matter of opinion unlike the moron below. ( Toad Wright )

    • Some guy

Saints Row 2 is one of the best open world game out there.
3 and 4 are garbage though.

      • Matt

3 was ok. 4 was the biggest pile of sh*t I’ve ever played!

      • robert

Part 1 is better then 2 tho.

  • Death Dealer

No Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with Keving Spacey post?

    • Gazza!!!

      Frank Underwood ftw

  • kingcrusher

    great free games there…

Had a fun experience this night, my internet gave out. I bought the XB1 thinking that the issue of internet was resolved. Not only would it not sign into my profile (kept asking for its password (which I tried putting in)), but it would not even play a DVD. Is there something wrong with my XB1 or is this how MS really intended it? If so, I’m seriously tempted to take it back and get a PS4 before I spend more money on it. Please let me know if I’m just doing something wrong.

    • kingcrusher

OK, answered my own question here. After the internet went back on, I stuck in a DVD and it did an update (it now works offline) Why this wasn’t part of the big initial update is beyond me. Also, I had it set so my passcode for my profile was my account login (which requires internet). I switched it to a passcode on the controller and now it will log in my profile offline.

Steps that were totally avoidable, but at least I figured it out. Hope this helps anyone else that has had this problem.

      • Some guy

You probably just got a launch day console with the no fun allowed always online policy.
Unless MS really don’t care about offline to the point they don’t put the update in the newer models.

        • Peter

my guess is they don’t add them and just expect you will have to go online to update regardless or if your conspiracy minded you could say ms plans it that way on purpose wink wink!

        • kingcrusher

I think that was the case. But at least I did get it figured out. Now I will hope they release some awesome stuff for it. Just got Titanfall and am going to dive into it. Really hoping it lives up to the hype.

          • Professor Oak

Titanfall requires Internet, not sure how you will dive into it without internet…

  • ImTheMetalLord

      Thanks for the info.

    • Disturbed_Court_Jester

In before Does Not Equal whines about you posting this.

      Thanks for the heads up.

    • Florida Tryhard

still a ripoff… you can get them used for much less at gamefly and gamestop

      • ImTheMetalLord

I’d rather spend a few bucks more and own a digital copy of a game for one because I’m lazy and don’t have to change out discs. For two, I never have to worry about it cracking or getting scratch to the point where it don’t work. Three, I don’t have to drive no place or pay for shipping only to get it and find out it’s a mess of a purchase and besides I get instant sanctification with a purchase of a game. Wait I think that is 3 and 4. Well, anyways I bet I could come up with a dozen reasons to spend a few bucks more for digital compared to a used copy. To each their own.

        • Thee Gooch

Sigh, to each his own. I buy 6–14 used games at a time from Clist . To date, all games have worked flawlessly , and I can resell them after I’ve played them. Just the fact that each game is $30-40 less then the on-demand version, and can be resold afterwards makes it worth it.

          • robert

Sure dude, sell all your old used games to gamestop for $2 each when your done with them…I’ll enjoy my library of games forever…sure I’ll admit I don’t play all of my games everyday, but I love scrolling through the large selection of games I have knowing I can relive any of these games at anytime.

    • Mikael Soltaniha

Crysis 3 is still $69.99 lol.. there’s no excuse, man. How is digital more expensive that physical media? Makes no sense.

      • ImTheMetalLord

Pray to the digital Gods and you never know.

  • http://instasynch.com/rooms/asstube AllRacesAGAINSTNIGGERS

I’m canceling Gold, to make sure I DON’T GET THESE.

Yes because if you have gold you’re forced to download the free games……..cough cough dumb@$$.

  • Christian

Is the online pass going to be free also for Saints Row the Third

  • Jason Owens

Dust is a great lil game i have been haveing a ball with it :) im glad the games are geting better every month .

  • Moises Munoz

You know something guys, I’m enjoys Dust wayyyyy more that I ever thought I might.

  • usrev

Dust is a pretty good game. good story and voice acting. not too hard but not a cake walk either.

only complaint was it was kinda short but for a free game it’s great.

saints 3 was pretty fun straight up fun. it gets old fast though. easy 1000 gamerscore for the achievement lovers.

    • That Guy

Play Dust on one of the two highest difficulties and it will give a decent challenge. Especially the highest, it makes you need to grind later on.

  • James Hale Steele

loving dust so far and can’t wait for saints 3 bought season pass a while back when i owned the game can’t WAIT! also i legit canceled my ps plus membership this month cause the game’s suck this month a freaking soccer game bleh good job ms<3

    • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Lol you canceled your ps+ because you think the games suck and you’re praising games with gold? alrighty then… good luck with all that lol

  • Alfred Rakeem Jnr

Oh nice shame SR hasn’t been that good since protect the pimp days

    • Florida Tryhard

so true… Blinged out ride and protect the pimp I loved that multiplayer

      • That Guy

Its all about opinion. I like Saints Row 2, 3 and 4 yet not 1 (which may be just because I was spoiled by playing 2 first), a lot of people including myself will enjoy SR3 being free.

  • Does Not Equal

I hope you didn’t buy it because you expected free games for it.

    • ImTheMetalLord

I was going to respond with the same thing this morning but decided it wasn’t worth my effort so I skipped it.

      • Does Not Equal

My hat’s off to you, sir.

      • Some Person

Frankly why shouldn’t he expect free games? PS4 users have gotten a couple free ones already.

        • ImTheMetalLord

By that analogy then I buy a Sony smart TV that doesn’t include any free movie apps and I should expect them because Panasonic gives me free movie apps?

          • Some Person

There’s a plethora of television manufacturers so competitors can get away with not actually competing. You’re also talking about apps that stream movies you have to buy, in other words a very inexpensive app. There are two major game consoles at the time of writing — Xbox and PS4 — and if one of the consoles is consistently giving out $60+ new games like Outlast on it’s brand new system about ten weeks after said system comes out and the other console isn’t actively competing in an economy that has only two options then one can clearly see which is the better deal.

Personally I don’t see the point in owning either console right now, there’s no real fantastic titles released yet.

          • x$NIPERx

Let’s just make something clear. It’s the paid membership to services like PS+ and XBL that get you the “FREE GAMES”. You can buy all the PS4’s and XBOX ONE’s you want, you’re not getting anything else with out a paid plus or gold account. BTW outlast was never priced or worth anything near $60. It was already old on PC. Go easy on that crack pipe man.

        • deadbox102

Give me, give me, give me.

  • That Guy

They are going to do it in 2014 they said, however they never said when so, yeah. I already wish I didn’t get it. Titanfall is great and all but since I spent al by money on the bundle 1 game no matter how good gets old after a while. Glad I kept my 360. At least on the 360 I can buy games that don’t have substantial fees. Seriously there are no good games on the live arcade unless they are $20 or more. Then again little to no demos doesn’t help me find anything in the arcade.

  • Nathan Smith

Dust is fun so far but the dialogue is awful. Predictable and reminiscent of something a dude would write in his furry journal while living in his parents basement. Also dust has the most annoying nasally voice.

Either way gameplay is fun so I’m happy. Just dont understand the praise for the voice acting.

  • Professor Oak

I’m sorry your friends would think that… to bad you cannot enjoy the free game.

  • Professor Oak

Castle Crashers was just on sale… BlOPS 2 could have been a possibility though

  • robert

These are good games this month. But I’m still not gonna get a gold membership. Hey Microsoft can’t you guys do games with silver? I mean like offer your free games at 50% off for silver members. I would totally buy saints row 3 for $9.99….please consider this (games with silver) idea as I don’t plan on getting a gold membership anytime soon.
