It’s been almost 40 days since the sale (the one includes Thief, TombRaider etc) which actually did worth spending money on…

DEAL OF THE WEEK IS NOW GOLD EXCLUSIVE.

That’s why I stopped buying games. Usually, the only games I bought were ”deal of the week” games. Now , I don’t buy anything, because it requires ”GOLD”.

What kind of stupid logic is that? I have to pay 60$ a year for sales and specials? lol no thank you.

It has pretty much always required gold… they just changed the name. You are probably thinking Publisher Sales

          das great

Please!!! Are you kidding me. It was just a name change. Always been that way for DOTW. And you are not paying a subscription for sales but even if you were how’s it any different than Costco? I pay for my gold subscription for many other reason then the sales. SMH and WMF at you.

Your first problem is paying $60 a year for Live anyway. You might want to try you local Toys R Us. I just picked up the Xbox Live Starter Kit that had 12 months of Live, 400 MSP, Chat Pad and headset for 23.35 before tax. Maybe you should shop around before you hand them that much cash.

It has required Gold for as long as I’ve been a member.
