More on Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack from the developers:

Hello from DrinkBox Studios!

We’re very happy to announce that our breakout hit, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, is out now for the Xbox 360. Do you like puzzles? Do you like platforming? Do you like to absorb objects while you do both of those things? Even if you only answered yes to one of those things, hear us out.

Mutant Blobs Attack is a puzzle-munchy-platformer about exacting revenge on the human race by eating the world around you to grow larger, larger and larger.

You start out the size of a penny, absorbing tiny objects to increase in size, allowing you to see the levels around you at different scales, and be able to interact with objects that earlier were too large for you to move. Most importantly you’ll experience the joys of eating boots, humans, cows, and space cows.

In addition to consuming all of existence, you will also gain some pretty unique blob powers such as Magnetism, and Telekinesis. Attach yourself to any metal object in the environment to zoom around inverted, or use your blob brain to control objects from a distance.

How much will it cost you to have what might be the greatest experience of your life? As of today you can now purchase Mutant Blobs Attack for $7.99. Also, be sure to give us some blob love on Twitter @DrinkBoxStudios.

        Do you live in space?

        • Liquidfx Xboxdude

          most of the time.

          • ImTheMetalLord

            Lucky you!!

    • fur low

Car selfie! What else would you expect from a kid that worships a video game industry suit like larry hryb? I’m just going to sit here and shake my head in disappointment for a while…

      • Guest

It’s definitely time for your permaban now. What are you even doing on this blog then? You’re pathetic.

        • fur low

Even after I stop using my 360 when I get my PS4 I’ll still drop in to “encourage” Microsoft to do better.

      • ImTheMetalLord

You have a right to your opinion but to personally attack someone is childish in and among itself and is very much troll behavior.

I up vote your ban from these blogs till you can respect yourself. Because only someone that don’t respect themselves would be so disrespectful to someone else.

        Leisure Suit Larry Hyrb… hmm.

I have a selfie of me on a city bus. Not under it. No nude pics, either.

        • fur low

          Haha nice one!

  • John Smith

I miss identifying games as arcade/indie/et. like i had on my 360. I wish the One did this.

  • ElektroDragon

This is the best Arcade game to hit the Xbox 360 in at least a year. Used to be a Sony exclusive series.

  • Colin Williams

Trying to set the download via my computer as I’m not at home at the moment. But yet again it won’t let me because it says I have no payment option linked to my account. There is over £30 linked to my account paid for by prepaid cards. I am not giving you my credit card details as well where you already have £30 of my money. I think I’ll pass on this one then due to this reason.

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

hangover 3 is not as funny as the other 2.

    • ImTheMetalLord

Never could use points to buy games on xbox dot com when they had the point system so when they switched to CSV it wasn’t linked. The only way to use CSV is from your console since that is and has always been set up for payments from either.

Doesn’t make it right but I’m just saying that is the reason why is all.

      • usrev

I remember at least being able to download the free stuff from my computer. which you can’t now, yet you can for xbone which is stupid

        • Please Clarify

During the MS points time, it was possible to also make purchases using a browser.

          Why the downgrade?

          • Gazza!!!

I think it might have something to do with the Oman account free games controversy.

          • ImTheMetalLord

I don’t ever remember a time when you could use your points on xbox dot com. So far as my memory serves me you always had to use points on the console.

          • Michael Burden

No, you could always use points on the Xbox web site as well as download free items without having a card on file – I did it all the time from work.

Something changed when they did away with the points and replaced it with real currency, which they have yet to fix it in over a year. I was not really pleased with the move away from points as now all my purchases are hit with sales tax as well whereas before there was no sales tax charged on purchases or points bought online. And I believe those in Europe and other non US countries have it worse due to VATs being added in as well making their games even higher priced. Probably the only ones truly happy with the demise of points are governments since they now have all that additional tax income from online sales.

          • Death Dealer

Was just about to post it. Yes, MS Points worked on the website. It’s all a bit incoherent now.

          • ImTheMetalLord

            I stand corrected.

I wonder if they were forced to got to currency do to having to pay the taxes whether they collected them or not. And better to collect them to pay them. I suppose we will never really know what was behind that decision.

        • ImTheMetalLord

Yep they built a whole new program for X1. Not sure why they haven’t fixed it with the 360 stuff. Guess the programmers are having issues finding a way.

        • roozbeh, again

Yep, ever since MS point were retired this has been a lasting issue.

  • todd Wright

hey guys Outlast and the dlc is available on the xbox one store now if anyone wants it

    • ElektroDragon

Out last on Xbox One! Tee hee!

      • roozbeh, again

But Wii U? Doesn’t it get any love?

  • LysanderM

Woow definitely seems cool. But why it has 3.5 stars in XBL marketplace??
