  • Death Dealer

    Excellent!

  • Lucky13X

This game looks like it has a lot of potential.

  • ImTheMetalLord

Yeah it’s on the 360….another demo to try.

  • Residentsteve01

Not sure what the fuss is about looks a bit dull to me think I will play gears instead.

    • ElektroDragon

This a war game for people who hate war and war games. So not surprised.

    • Does Not Equal

      That’s great.

      • Ross Kemp

        That’s wonderful .

  • Vince

How come arcade games on Xbox One no longer have Arcade on it’s digital box art

    • Death Dealer

Because on the Xbox One, Xbox Live “Arcade” doesn’t exist anymore and hence there are no more mandatory integrated trial versions either. It’s all “Games”.

    • Jesse C

Because of stupid is about the only thing I can think of. Its all well and good to get rid of the ‘Arcade’ label, but a digital only title should still have a damn demo. As is, if its an Xbox One only title, I don’t buy it. If it has a 360 version, I try it there before buying on the One. Its stupid.

  • ElektroDragon

I already bought this and Another World on Xbox One this morning. Key reason being they have 1000 GS but no Platinum on PS4. Also, they don’t exactly push the hardware so they’re perfect for Xbox One.

    • evilfangs .

Why do you buy your games sololy on the fact if a game has easy 1000GS or a platinum?

      • Kevin

Because he has yet to hit puberty.

        • ElektroDragon

Heh, I hit puberty 3 lifetimes ago in dog years.

          • Death Dealer

            :D

      • Gazza!!!

Gamerscore addiction. Numbers aren’t known but it afflicts a large number of gamers. I to suffer from this at times.

        • evilfangs .

I too like to achievement and trophy hunt but I don’t buy games based on if that game has easy gamerscorer or a platinum.

On another note, I brought Strider on my Xbox one on release day, and now getting it for free on my PS4 :(

          • Gazza!!!

Was it worth it when you bought it? I got it in the recent sale and got 1000gs in about 5 days and loved every minute of it.

          • evilfangs .

It was the cheapest game that looked interesting to me at the time. I only brought it because it was cheaper then any retail game I wanted and was no other new games coming out for a while.

I didn’t even manage to finish it.

          • ElektroDragon

Don’t feel bad because the X1 version of Strider is confirmed superior by the very impartial Eurogamer FaceOff.

      • usrev

they are the same game. if he has both systems why not pick the one for achievement hunting since that is the only difference.

      • Liquidfx Xboxdude

some of us are addicts and can’t stop.

    • Filipe Araújo

I know a bunch of games that push the hardware and are great for the Xbox One. Don’t be a hater :)

    • Gazza!!!

Give me a nice cold beer any day over wine.

    • Liquidfx Xboxdude

only platinum i have is from Magnus. lol

  • David Monzon

I’ve played for about an hour or so, it’s pretty fun and there’s alot of historically related information in the notes and diaries you find. SO if you like the history of WW1 I strongly recommend this but the game is also a fun action puzzle platformer and actually has quit the variety of game mechanics.

  • John Smith

Any word of a demo so we can see if this is a game we want?

    • Jesse C

Go to your 360 and download it there, then go back to the Xbox One and buy it if you like it. The lack of demos is a giant oversight, especially when the same content on the older system has one.

      • ImTheMetalLord

The “demo” on the 360 is more of an introduction than an actual demo. Lasts about 5 mins if that and really don’t give you a feel for the game at all IMO.

        • Jesse C

Better than the nothing on Xbox One.

          • ImTheMetalLord

In most cases I would agree with you but not in this case. I could have watch a video of what I got to play and it would have been as good instead of waiting my time downloading over a Gig of info for what wasn’t much of anything.

          • Death Dealer

In this case yes, but seriously, it is quite baffling that there’s an integrated demo on the Xbox 360, yet MS disallows this on the Xbox One and developers have to make a separate demo distribution. If it were my game, I’d say no to MS too.

    • deadbox102

I just watch gameplay on Twitch.

    • kevgallacher

Demos have gone extinct this generation.

      • John Smith

That’s unfortunate. I see fewer, more selective game purchases in my future.

        • kevgallacher

Me too. especially all these games coming at £15.
There were games on Xbox live arcade game on the 360 that I would play the free trial and then liked it enough to but it, I bought many games this way I would not normally be interested in.
They will need to add some sort of trial period on these games. Even if it was just half an hour that would be fine. I don’t like buying games I can’t get to play first unless they are full AAA titles.

  • Maritox

the only sad thing its that this game doesnt have local multiplayer

  • https://twitter.com/Ganon255 Ganon255

very stylistic, a bit slow paced though

    • ElektroDragon

Slow paced? You need split second timing and speed to get through this game alive.

      • https://twitter.com/Ganon255 Ganon255

I’m loving all these artsy-fartsy games Ubisoft has been releasing lately.

  • WOLFGOTTAGUN

Still have 3 more achievements to get til 1000g. I would recommend this game to anyone. It is such a beautiful game, it takes you through emotions. (good and sad ones)

  • Nick King

I was looking for something new and picked this up, it’s a bit slow but it’s a fun little game. Worth £11.99? I’m not so sure.
