    Liking it.

  • Nick Peck

Ah yes, the other game coming out on Oct 28th that I’m getting :D

    • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

So many games to buy in October lol. Ah well I’m excited !!

      • Nick Peck

Yah tell me about it. Oct / Nov is going to kill my wallet lol. Way to many games I want.

  • Naraic

Any news on the other AC game being planned for last gen ( 360)?

  • evilfangs .

Looks amazing. I specifically like that co-op and single player are different stories / campaigns.

Pre-order bonus are starting to annoy me.

    • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Hmm are you sure? From what I got out of the information, the coop is missions from the story campaign but can be played with up to 3 others. I didn’t think there was a separate story for coop. That being said, this game looks great

      • evilfangs .

From my understand, co-op you play in the brotherhood and build your brotherhood up doing missions and single person has the normal AC story. I’ll try find the video which I saw.

      • MURD3R HE WROTE

you are correct sir. The campaign is 4 player co-op. that was the big news of e3. that is what is so special about “unity”

  • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Woah. The graphics have really been ramped up for this year. I love how games are starting to be made for only next Gen, it makes them be able to go so much bigger. I wish they would start this with all games coming out now..either that or do what some others are doing and have a separate studio develop the last Gen version.. that works as well!

I can’t believe how many games are coming out in October! It’s actually starting to get a little out of hand.. I foresee at least one or two really good games ending up flopping and just because of the sheer amount of games coming out that month.. I really hope it isn’t the case but I think it’s probably going to happen:/ I will definitely be doing what I always do anyway and grab each game on day one.. but I don’t know many who will.

    • http://summified.com/ Ry L

It’s true. I tend to be a bit systematic in my gaming…so there’s no point in buying multiple games at once if i’ll only be playing one at a time…

    • Nick Peck

I agree. I honestly think that is why some great games don’t get the sales they deserve because the are out around other big games. So far what I’m getting on my XBO in Oct:

7th – Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor
      21st – Evolve
      28th – Sunset Overdrive
      28th – Assassins Creed Unity

Then in Nov you have CoD:AW, Halo MCC, Far Cry 4, GTAV. There are more but those are all the games I’m interested in. And of course that’s not counting what comes out before it, Horizon 2 and Destiny, yikes. I always forget about the games we don’t have dates on yet like Ori and the Blind Forest and what not.

      • Dylan

        Also in October:

        Alien: Isolation
Dragon Age: (Nobody Expects the Spanish) Inquisition
The Evil Within (pumped for this! Survival horror!)
        A New Civilization Game (just…one…more…turn!)
        Battlefield Hardline (ugh…)

        • Nick Peck

Yah, like I said I only listed the ones I wanted but know there is more. The Alien game I’m holding off on depending on how well people like it, I’m skeptical to say the least.

Never played the Dragon Age games so I’ll hold off on that one as well. The E3 footage of the Evil Within kinda turned me off so I’ll have to wait to see more. Civ games I don’t get into so I’ll pass. I’ll also pass on the Hardline, played the beta twice and deleted it lol.

But anyways, enjoy the games you are waiting for! Way to many and so little time… and money :(

  • http://summified.com/ Ry L

still no digital preorders (with the bonuses) huh?

    • Nick Peck

Digital preordering is coming soon. Not sure exactly when but considering it’s said to be working for Sunset Overdrive, other games should see it around the same time (AC Unity comes out on the same day as SSOD). We will just have to wait and see.

    • Dylan

If you had a certain other platform, yes. Bonuses with pre-load.

If you only have an Xbox One, I’m sure it’ll be there eventually.

      • http://summified.com/ Ry L

i just hope “eventually” happens before the all the games this fall.

        • Nick Peck

I answered that in my post below. First title is Sunset overdrive, so I’d assume all of the games around that will get it. If we get lucky it might happen sooner, who knows.

          • Guest

Cool. I hadn’t heard about sunset getting digital pre-orders…do you have a link I could check out?

          • Nick Peck

Check out Insomniacs website, they do a Sunset TV webisode and they mentioned it in there. I’m sure if you look around at gamespot or ign I know they had the stories up about it as well.

They even said it will include Day One bonus content as well as getting a special digital preorder only goodie :D

  • MURD3R HE WROTE

    Cannot wait for this game.

  • Matt F

Can’t wait for this, I just really hope its not a flop like Watch Dogs.

    • Nick Peck

8 million copies sold is a flop huh? ooookkkkkkk…

      • MURD3R HE WROTE

Hey all due respect nick I too think watch dogs was a joke. I played it for 3 days and was done with it. If it wasn’t on my hard drive I would’ve sold it. IMO

        • Nick Peck

Yah once I read his follow up I understand better what he was referring to and I totally respect his and your opinions. While I like the game I won’t argue your guys points as it does get a little tiring after awhile.

      • Matt F

My comment was not about how well or how badly the game sold. It was about how awful the gameplay was. I did preorder I was very excited for it. I stood in line to get it on launch night. How ever when I got home and started to play it after about 2 hours I found how boring and repetitive the game was. The mp was sad excuse for a mp mode, and if you look around online you can see I am only one of the countless people that feel the same way and feel let down by Ubisoft. I just hope that this assassin’s creed holds up well to the hype it is receiving.

        • Nick Peck

Well, you should have said it that way first of all!! I see what you are saying now :D To be honest, I like the game but at the same time I can’t argue with what you said.

however, you kind of have to expect that from games like this though as there really is only so much they can do to keep you playing. Eventually it will get somewhat repetitive, most games do.

Thanks for making a good comment back, I appreciate it.

    • ImTheMetalLord

On the Xbox 360 it has over 18K votes and just under a perfect 5 star rating. The X1 has over 12K votes and right at a 4 star rating. I don’t call that a flop.

  • Some guy

Can’t wait for the final version where they remove every special effect so old gen version don’t look too bad just like they did with watch dog.

    • Nick Peck

Nope, they already said they built this on / for new gen hardware, the older versions of the games are being done by another team on a different engine. WD was a fun game, stop living in the past.

      • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

Yup. Watch dogs was great. Absolutely no complaints in my end on graphics or otherwise. It’s sad the way people went on because of an e3 presentation in 2012. I don’t know when graphics became the end all, be all of gaming… but it sickens me.

        • Nick Peck

Agreed. Trust me, I love great looking visuals as much as the next guy, but they don’t determine how fun the game is for me. I’m still playing WD, just need to finish up the 40 Fixer contracts for the cheevos, think I’m hallway done with those. I have pretty much everything else done.

        • evilfangs .

UBI forced the downgrade, some of the files on PC were actually titled E3 2012, and a modder was able to mod the files back to original E3 2012 quality, all the effects, everything that was shown in the E3 2012 demonstration.

          • Nick Peck

But even that wasn’t a huge difference from what is out from the videos I have seen. It was more or less forced effects to give it that “look” if you know what I mean. It looked good with those on for sure, but not really a deal breaker imo.

        • Some guy

Well, if you don’t mind being lied to by Ubisoft then yes, nothing to say. Or having endings sold as DLC or having basic content sold as DLC or having online pass or forced uplay. But yea outside that nothing to complain about Ubisoft.

          • Nick Peck

Do you enjoy anything? you hate on people and companies constantly. must suck to hate 24/7. lighten up, you’ll live longer. the game ended just fine IMO, but of course they can add side story stuff on there like every other game.

          • Some guy

I just hate on Ubisoft, EA and Activision.
It’s a good thing there are many other publisher out there that don’t hate their customers.

    • Dylan

Next gen only for this game.

  • ElektroDragon

Why did they have to add co-op? You can never experience the story properly when playing co-op. I hope there are no hard co-op achievements. There was already enough co-op in the previous games multiplayer modes.

    • http://Www.mylifewithgaming.wordpress.com/ Mitchell Hall

It’s totally 100% optional dude. No worries there. Unless you want to get all the achievements, because I’m sure there will be at least a cpl revolving around coop.

      • Nick Peck

Exactly. Drop in and out coop is a great thing. I’m pretty pumped for this game as running around with another person or three sounds like fun.

      • ElektroDragon

As long as you can only skip cutscenes, dialogue, or reading panels if EVERYONE also does, I’m fine with it.
Yes, as achievement and trophy hunter I will attempt to do everything.

I got a Platinum on AC IV. Hardest one I ever did.

I would have played it on X1, but lower res and all that. Oh well, I still have a multi-hundred game 360 backlog for all that tasty gamerscore.

        • Dylan

How did you beat all those special boss ships!?

        • Nick Peck

I played them side by side and you couldn’t really tell at all IMO, played the same. great game, I’m still at 95% and I need to finish it soon lol.

  • Vince

    More like teaser trailer

  • Digiadam

Looks great. Let’s hope it isn’t a huge pile of crud like #3 was.

  • StudioMultimédia Gon’Interacti

i was expecting more gameplay and less cut-scene

  • teethintored

The most overrated video game franchise of all time. I still want a refund on AC2 from games with gold.

    • 0rtep

but dude you got the game for free you didnt have to download it to begin with

  • Elan Gabriel

Is it going to be like ‘Dead Island”, when you can drop in/out of co-op anytime ? That one was weird, and the experience wasn’t that great for me (Scene skipping, enemies returning from the dead etc.) Hopefully they have a different technical method to do so, and a ranking system to even the player’s skills.

    • GenericBlackPerson420

N’ah. You go to the Tavern to pick ‘Co-op’ missions.

      • Elan Gabriel

So it’s not part of the single player campaign ? There’s a SP campaign and Co-op missions ?

        • Lucas Sanches Cestari

ubisoft not gave further information about co-op missions but, at least we know that you have to go to the tavern to pick co-op missions, so… that’s a yes for your question, co-op and single player campaign will be separated

        • GenericBlackPerson420

It is. Just the actual single-player missions are just .. single-player. It’s basically like Assassinate Missions you always had, only this time with online people now.

I’m sure they tie in with the lore though. It’s just nothing /big/ as they make it look like. You just go to the Tavern and pick a Mission that is shown at the same.

The missions that are offered can be seen in what type of difficulty it’d be by the amount of stars it offers and not ALL of those missions are 4 Player Co-op, some are like for only 1 more person to join in.

  • llortretsam

I stopped playing these after AC2, but this one is looking pretty good to me.

  • Digiadam

Hopefully this doesn’t turn into a pile of crud like Assassins Creed 3….that was the worst game In the series.

    This is looking good though.

  • Lucas Sanches Cestari

i can’t wait to buy that game! i have all the books and games of AC and AC:Unity looks awesome!!!, but still… i have to wait 2 more months =/
