Take a Look Inside our Pre-PAX ID@Xbox Open House

As Xbox is headquartered in the Seattle area, PAX Prime is a special event for us. This year, we were thrilled to invite the Xbox faithful over to our house to play some games. Hundreds of you took us up on the offer; take a look:

At the event, we showcased 29 new and upcoming ID@Xbox titles, including Volgarr the Viking, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, and the just-released Warframe. Couch co-op and competitive multiplayer was on full display, with titles like #IDARB, Chariot, Knight Squad, and SlashDash drawing crowds (and lots of shouting).

So we’d like to offer a sincere thank you to those who made the trip out to Redmond, including those who braved a rush hour ride on the Sunset Overdrive bus. Your enthusiasm and sheer numbers are strong encouragement for us to go big next year as well.

And, of course, we’ll keep all of you updated on when these games hit the Xbox Games Store.

Great video. Man I wish I could be there. Played a bit of war frame this evening.. I think it might end up being a game I can really get into. It sucks how expensive all the upgrades are but if I do end up getting into it I won’t mind spending a bit of cash to get some of the gear since it is free to play. Feel like I’m mouching off of the developers if I end up loving their game and don’t spend any cash on it.

Lots more impressive stuff coming out from ID@Xbox then I ever really expected. I really need to get me an X1.

Dude. That valgaar game looks soooooo sweet. Looks just like a well made arcade game from back in the 90’s.

I was there….. Never Alone looked fantastic, and Adventures of Van Helsing did also but I hope they fix the tearing/vsync issues.

I’m actually more psyched for Id@xbox than I am mainstream games at the moment. How crazy is that? The idea is flawless. Original, new i.p’s. That are as awesome as they are crazy. My only gripe is that they don’t go the warframe route I.e pay to progress. Some of those bundles can’t justify an £85 price tag. I’m so glad I bought an xbox in 2002 and stuck with Microsoft.

Glad MS is investing so much time and love into ID@xbox there’s def. some great games coming out of that. I look forward to those games as much as I look forward to AAA.

As great as this all is but can they make other games besides 2d platforms??
