Is gaming going backwards with all these tablet games, last gen ports, so called couple of next gen games not running properly. Feels like corporate greed is steering the ship and i dont like it. I want it back when the game makers did it for love and cared about their product. Seems like to much bulls#t in the industry.

ONE year later and still we got no built-in demos on those arcades ? I sure love these kind of games but as i consider demos were something microsoft got right last gen I feel like supporting gaming industry going backwards!

I’m also growing tired of 360 ports and OLD concepts. I really like old school gaming, darn I even finished Völgarr but I’m sure X ONE is capable of something else other than a good art direction. AFAIK there was a similar game (megaman, like tho) on nintendo old DS.

I agree but i must say over the last year they have been listening and been delivering on a lot of things the community wanted so maybe this is on the list.

You don’t need demo’s so much now. Just watch it on Twitch and you’ll soon know if you like it or not. Especially with these type of games. Shooters and Driving games should have demos, though they seem to be in favour of the “beta” concept now. Those are the kind of games that you need to get a feel of.

Sorry but don’t agree. Platformers are also the kind of games that you need to get a feel of. It might look fun but things like “mid air control” like in super mario bros and such can’t be really told by just watching twitch.

Someone liking platformers would find i.e. LIMBO’s physics clumsy by just watching it played but it really works IRL. Same happens to Völgarr… no mid air control at all, but once you get it right it works fine.

It’s just going backwards… I remember 360’s days when people were laffin at sony because they had no demos at all and “ours” were built in. Then we got that… Blam, in our face!

Sure MS is adressing stuff but I’m growing tired about hearing “next gen” when what we really got is almost the same stuff with pimped graphics.

        Anyhow, thanks for replying :)
