Please, at least give us a substantial update on the Prey demo. You HAVE to know SOMETHING about it, you're in charge of Xbox Live for Christ's sake!

its a nice headset...and the volume/mute issue with the 360 can be solved via the guide (although very clumsy) - but is this offer available in the UK???...

That is true with just the headset.  However, Datel came out with a piece that matches the volume/mute control on the 360 headset.

It's just a few bucks and it plugs into your controller, and then the other headset plugs into it.

You guys are creepy what the hell is so great about the prey demo that you keep demanding for it... I played it on pc woopiedi doo go play another game on the 360.

costomer service...there is abiously something wrong with the demo or with xbox live, its not like they are holding it back or hiding it to create more hype (remembering the whole area-51 consperacy).

Wow that's a great deal, thanks for the heads-up.  I've had one of these headsets since they came out and it's still going strong.  I just ordered 2 for less than it would cost to get one of the new Xbox 360 Plantronics headsets, and that includes shipping.

1, The prey demo isn't all that hot. I've played the PC one.

2, Its NOTHING to do with Microsoft so stop moaning at them and especially Major Nelson as hes doing a great job. He's commenting and posting news even when he was on holiday.

3, You guys should be happy for what we do get. The marketplace was very much a new thing for gaming in general. Yes picture packs and themes are expensive and things do get delayed but so what? Just please deal with it.

Oh please, people.  Stop asking about the demo.  That doesn't even remotely come close to what the Major is talking about.  He's talking about a fundraiser for Katrina victims.  You guys are talking about when you can get a free demo for your own selfish selves.  Please keep this stuff elsewhere.

In any event, I think I'll pick one up now.  The price is right now, and it's for a good cause, so why not?

you know why can't everything in life be cool like this, that's a great price and the fact that some money goes to the United Way just makes me feel good.

I wish everything could be that cool... we would have probably cured cancer by now if a percent (US$1)of all things we purchased went to good causes instead of just going to taxes.
