See the issue with people not seeing this as a big announcement is because you guys all sit online checking news like this all day and all the rumors and speculation... to people that dont know the rumors this is a super big deal... AH Tipical of M$ always announcing dates for the US of A but not other regions [forget about Europe and the rest of the world they will just get the game when we fill like releasing it] When the game is old in USA and no-ones playing it online besides the non American regions [which M$ likes to call backwards] YEAH right we are only backwords because you make us that way. All I ask is why cant we see a set date like America. Anyways its never going to change is it.

Meh. I was expecting more than this. Given the amount of hype that the viral marketing generated, this is somewhat of a let down. I am VERY excited for the release of GOW. I feel a little disappointed though because we knew that GOW was going to hit sometime in November to counter the PS3 launch. Not a big deal though, GOW is going to be an awesome game and well worth the wait.

I wasn't surprised, considering the release date falls between the PS3 launch, which is Nov. 11 in Japan and Nov. 17 elsewhere. Well I'm happy that the release date falls on a Sunday!

How many players it supports simultaneously in the same game session? It doesn't say anywhere, and there's a rumor it's just 8... If that's true online will suck... Better go with COD3 which will be 24 players.
