Awesome. I'm sure this will garner even more support for EA. Thanks for giving us these "choices".

.....

How the hell are these worth $5? I can buy a whole game on XBLA for $5.

I just want the 1969 Plymouth® Road Runner....I gotta buy the whole pack?

Whatever, at least EA is providing content for their games, unlike %90 of every other dev.

Let me see, spend more points to enrich EA for cosmetic content, or spend points to encourage original XBLA games.... Well, since I don't work for EA, and am learning to avoid EA games thanks to this sort of marketplace strategy, I'd say THAT is an easy decision... (duh!)

But their content is already on the disc you paid $60 for, and you don't have to pay for the content at all... you can instead just play the game you paid $60 for and unlock them yourself.

If providing content means locking stuff that is already done and on the disk and then having people pay to unlock them, than I guess you're right.

EA sucks and they're money hungry bastards. End of story.

No, just play the game.

"Whatever, at least EA is providing content for their games, unlike %90 of every other dev."

Pretty much all of this content is already in the game. So they're providing nothing, other than an opportunity to screw 100% (notice the % follows the numbers) of their customer base.

EA is just delivering games with some kind of build-in Action Replay. Only this time you have to pay for each "cheat".
