"Waah waah not enough demos! Marketplace has gone down the pooper! Sony ftw!"
8 demos in the first two months of this new year. Almost every game released has a demo. The publishers cant possibly do much better than that, unless you want them to push every game back 3 months just to give you a demo of an unfinished product.
Two demos and Alien Hominid for arcade makes angry fanboy well up inside.. at least for a passing moment.
this sucks, i live in europe and they arent releasing the game over here and i cant download the demo. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF EUROPEAN BASEBALL FANS 2K SO RELEASE THE BLOODY GAME IN PAL LAND
Nice, have high hopes for this game! Oh, and first!
Available now? SWEET!
Thank you for this. I am at work now, but I will certainly check it out.
Does anyone know how big this is for something NOT at his 360 right now?
Nice! How big is it? Not that it matters, I'll be getting it tonight when I get home from work.
Like we don't like to play baseball in Europe :P
Yes! Baseball! thank You!
size info?
wow its raining demos
...and people complain about the Marketplace. That is TWO demos today, and as Joergen8 said, this makes 8 demos released in under two months. That is insane, especially when you realize that, just two years ago, the only way to play a demo was to get it off the OXM demo disc.
I have to check this out. Anyone played it yet? How many innings can you play? Which teams can you pick in the demo? Sounds great! I was going to pick up when it came out but is definitely icing on the cake.
@Kud Dukan and Joergen8:
Yup I hate the haters! Am I hater now too? Oh yeah I'm a Hater Hater LOL!
Great this is released, [but unfortunately I live in Europe so [sarcasm]I can't try this one out...[/sarcasm].
What teams can you play as in the demo? How long can you play?
they really should make demos available in all countries :(
Fantastic! I saw someone playing this at a local EB Games here in Seattle. My jaw dropped at the high quality graphics and presentation.
I've been dying for a quality baseball game on the 360!
It's getting to be that time. TV, Radio, newpapers, all talking baseball! Spring Training is here!
No Europe, why ? :(
How surprising!! Not available in Europe!! ¬¬'
This is awesome! I have been waiting for this one!
Great another thing europe doesnt get. I know we dont really like baseball or anything but the differences between owning a PAL 360 and NTSC 360 are starting to mount up. We still have no video marketplace?
I haven't played the demo yet, but from the word on the IGN boards, the two teams you play as are the Cards and Mets.
You play the final 3 innings (7,8,and 9) with the scored tied 1-1 in the 7th inning.
That's a neat way of doing a demo. I'd like different teams, but hey...it's a good taste and brings out the whole 'it's on the line' feeling that you get watching those games.
I'll check it out when I get home from work :).
Again Europe get ignored. Thanks.
You do know that baseball is actually well liked over here!?
And lets see, this wont be released over here or be Region Free....YIPP!!!.
I wish they'd release the MLB games in Europe. Oh well, I'm getting a PS3 in 25 days so I can import them for that. Region free FTW!!!

It's 970.97MB :)
All the ''region whingers'' onthis site are soooooo predictable it's painful. Not out in USA ? Waaaaa here come the whiny Americans. Not out in Europe ? Waaaaaaaa here come the upset Europeans and so on and so on and on and on and oh grow up please.
I'll help you lot out as it's obviously a really important issue. Here's MN to explain it to you personally. Again.

Q: How come my country doesn't get any of this cool content? What's up with that?!
A: There is no easy answer as to why every region doesn't get every single piece of downloadable Xbox Live content. In short, there are many factors that influence content availability that we don't control.
If you've ever tried to take your lemonade stand worldwide you'd understand. What happens if a country has enacted a ban on lemon-derived products? Or what if my lemonade fails to pass a certification board? Or what if yellow-colored drinks are not allowed for public consumption? And do I need a license to use lemons from someone else's orchard? Welcome to the real world where unfortunately/fortunately there are a host of conditions that influence and regulate what you can and can't do.
Governments, politicians, laws, regulations, video game rating boards, the ins-and-outs of licensing, Copyright and other Intellectual Property laws and treaties - any one of which can directly impact where content is available and where it is not.
In every region we offer content these factors are unique. There is not one single Video Game Rating Board that governs the ratings each video game receives. The United States and part of Canada have the ESRB. Japan has CERO. Australia and New Zealand have varying forms of the OFLC (Australia OFLC / New Zealand OFLC). Germany has the USK. Roughly twenty-five European countries have the widely adopted PEGI. And so on and so on. Not all governments are the same. Laws are different. Regulations are different. Cultural preferences are different. And let's not even start in on the licensing model for the entertainment industry.
Yuck.
So if anything, don't take it personally. We want to offer up as much quality Xbox Live content that we can and we want the Xbox Live community to have access to as much of it as possible. Content is not region exclusive because we want it that way. Trust us. We don't like it any more then you do.
