Good news about the XNA and garage games partnership. I've been wanting to play with garage games gamebuilder utilities for awhile now and it seems a free copy of the Torque X engine is given to those of us subscribed to the creators club. Much appreciated that you would give us additional tools!!

why is 512mb $50 bucks? Also the hard drive is way too expensive, I'm tired of Microsoft trying to get the most money they can out of their customers.
seems a little expensive considering the size.
my gamer profile and game saves never exceeded the oringial 64meg cards.
would rather see MS building a bigger hhd for the 360.

I got a 4GB memory stick for £55 last week, a legit one too. how come a 512 needs to cost 50 usd?
Soooooo.... When are you going to announce that bigger HDD? Or are you still going with the silly pr idea of just buying multiple HDD's?
Oh and that price is of course ridiculous. The cost per megabyte is waaaaaaaay to high.

In a press release over at the Japanese section of xbox.com they announce the release date for Forza Motorsport 2 for Japan, which is May 24th. Game is expected to retail for 7,140 yen.

Maybe games that are already scheduled for release soon, (worms, march 7th), will be as large as 150mb.
The price of the larger mem card isn't too bad at all, considering it is only $10 more than the older size. not bad at all.
Jetpac Refuelled! Awesome, the emulated version of Jetpac was the best thing about Donkey Kong 64, I reckon. =) Of course, having the actual arcade version of Donkey Kong properly emulated was nice too!
Now we just need the bigger harddrive announced ;)
Why didn't they just do it like the wii and use a standard mem card like a SD .. wow that would not make us millions you nuts make our own standard .. BS ..

I would only get a new memory unit if it is big enough to store all the Live Arcade games I'm ever likely to buy. 4 or 8 GB would probably do. Then I could get rid of the hard disk. I'm never going to use a little memory card to ferry around a few of my games to someone else's house. Actually I never transport any of my games or save data to anyone else's 360, I just play with them over Live. It's a bit annoying that everyone has to wait for Microsoft to release a bigger memory unit, or bigger hard disk, or new headset. With PS3 you can use any memory sticks and I think SD cards, which are available in many different sizes; you can put any 2.5" hard disk in there - 150 GB if you like; it works with most bluetooth headsets apparently, and any wired or wireless keyboards and mice. So you can shop around for peripherals and find a good deal. I like that.
Increasing the cap on Live Arcade games can only be a good thing. Super.

150MB limit is still rather low, Castlevania & stuff were all way over that with low-res & no extras on the PS1
Is the marketing team serious? $49.99? I just got done reading in a circuit city ad i can get a 2.0 gig mem unit for $30.00. Honestly guys come on.
just wait for the black 360 with the huge HD in a few months then
